Today, as I looked around the apartment, I realized just how much there is to declutter and organize in the closets and storage areas. But instead of diving into those (time consuming) tasks, I decided to hit the pause button. I chose to focus on creating a quick calm atmosphere for the family. ✨ And since we just recently moved in to our city apartment, we are not yet ready with decorating, etc.! Still have to put up paintings on the wall, and many other things to make it more cozy. ❤
I agree that looking calm is such a booster. I need to clear our combined laundry and pantry but it’s going to take half a day at least. So I rearranged the living room and cleared surfaces. Tiny time but huge payoff.
Quick tip; a painter told me once that when you are touching a patches/spots of walls, to use a hairdryer on the fresh paint and it helps it to blend it more effectively.

This is the most sensible approach to calm down your home I have seen in a long time. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words!

Thanks for posting again.
Thank you! I enjoy making these videos, Hopefully they bring some joy or value!
When you take a break from decluttering the storage areas you usually get twice as much done when you come back with that fresh perspective too
True! ✨

Great tip! I haven't heard of using a hairdryer to help paint blend, but it makes sense. Thank you!
I love the windows in your apartment. In my American 1920s home, my windows open up and down but are stuck shut from many years of weathering.
Thank you! Your 1920s home sounds so charming! ❤
@@calmnordic thank you, it is at times lol.
