Yes, built and fan noise of loq aand ideapad felt the same to me. Though, tbh, i did not do a side by side comparison, but i remember ideapad's built and fan noises pretty well and they feel the same to me.

You should buy a workstation type if you intend to use one for studies too and programming, these gaming ones get a bit too loud and are heavier than the normal laptops
True. I have a friend, who is studying machine learning. He has his Workstation (really powerful) at his place and a normal gaming laptop which he carries to clg/work and use the big rig's power remotely.

Not exactly dead. Its basically the lowest of the line in RTX series, coz now brands are ditching GTX 1650 and giving RTX 2050 instead. It will still work well with most of gaming titles, which do not demand massive Graphical computing powers like cyberpunk. In your case, coding amd esport games like valorant dont really require a good GPU. I played valorant and coded (asa beginner) on my dell inspiron with virtually no GPU and it did pretty well. So rtx 2050 should do just fine.

I would personally choose Omen in this case and spend extra 130 bucks. But if its very money sensitive choice, you can definitely go for LoQ

How's the battery? Does it drain fast?
This particular model has a 60 watt hr battery only. So yeah, battery does drain relatively fast. It gave a bout 2.5 to 3 hrs of video playback
