Palladium just taking a breather.
LOL yeah for 20 years
Palladium is just taking a pause and I will buy up many many ounces while the price is low. I just bought another 10oz bar for under $1000 per oz. Palladium is some 15X rare than platinum and the vast majority of production comes from South Africa and Russia. Both South Africa and Russia have major issues (electricity, war etc) so the supply in the market will be constricted for some time.
Still with the plan I started two years ago. Silver and Platinum, All I can get. Yes, I believe the switch is permanent. Go PLATINUM!
It's a see saw. Having both aint bad but I favor Platinum.
Good job.
I'll get another palladium eagle when the mints price is below $1800
Same here....... the Palladium Eagle is easily the best looking modern U.S. Mint coin, IMO.
I don't know for sure what price would have to come about to pull the trigger, but I'd like to see around $1,600.
Yes !!! Just like anything of quality and beauty, the mint will end the palladium eagle program- never to return. Get your coins before they disappear
I'm rather new to stacking only been doing it for about a month. I've got a few grams of gold a few ounces of silver but I've been hitting the Platinum hard. Not sure why I'm just going with my instincts.
Palladium dumped 3400 to < 900..amazing
If I remember correctly from the general manager of johnson mattey he said palladium is rarer than platinum. That was when it was about $250 an oz. He also said palladium quantity is unknown whereas platinum is know.
My platinum to palladium stack ratio is infinity to one.
Palladium will be fine. It’s the new platinum. All this is, is confirmation of the flip that I’ve been talking about for over two years now.
One of my good friends is a chemist, and recently they started using palladium in their hydrogen fuel cell research projects, I guess it’s considered the “favorite” of the metals
Platinum has been seen as a money metal my entire life, not just now, when you get a credit card they say it’s a platinum card, or a membership somewhere you’re platinum status, you never see palladium used in that context, the public isn’t used to that speak, and views one metal as a symbol of wealth the other only has industrial uses.
Secondly the hints about how it’s assumed it’s used in industry is incorrect. Platinum and palladium are used as catalysts primarily in automotive applications, but even if palladium is double the price of platinum it’s still cheaper to use palladium in a catalytic converter than platinum for example due to platinum density being over double and it’s based on density not weight.
Currently palladium is down in price because new cars are not selling. Interest is to high and cars are unaffordable, but eventually the public will be forced to buy new cars as the used cars fall apart, so long term wise palladium will go up because not enough of it is getting mined for all the vehicle demand.
Harder to sell PGMs from experience
It's almost time to pick up some more palladium 🤞🏽💰
Oooh, another? 😮 What have you got Pd wise? Bar(s) or Coin(s)? Only Palladium I have currently is a 2005 Palladium Panda (the third and final year for a Pd Panda to be issued/released). Still chasing a 1oz Palladium Maple though! 🤞🏼
@themidnightgardener13 I picked up 3 (1oz) coins, maybe in 2022. Right after the $2800 all time high. I got in for about $5600, so honestly I can't complain. Haven't had an opportunity to cash out yet though 🤞🏽💰
@@bunymustard2584 that opportunity will come later no doubt, hopefully even more so if they’re coins that not just stackers but collectors want. I see Palladium bars in Australia, but up until I got my Pd Panda coin from a fellow stacker (and Panda bullion private importer) I’ve never seen a Pd coin around, not even coming through our bullion shop (be it new or buyback).
But the premiums and spread on platinum, palladium is really high compared to gold and silver. My 1 oz platinum bars purchase from 1 year back only reach parity with it's take-in price only recently.
You say Palladium is not coming back, but companies are looking to integrate Palladium metal into AI technology due to how it handles energy and high Storage Capacity. So i would hold that thought.
I heard it is mostly mined in Russia 😕
I love platinum group metals!
I have one troy oz of palladium
I agree, Platinum is monetary metal, unlike palladium. In Canada the palladium coins are taxable, unlike platinum. I buy platinum on secondary market where premiums are much lower, it is harder to resell both platinum and palladium than gold.
well, platinum is my silver exit strategy... because Gold will be too rare by the time I sell.
Gold is not that rare! Platinum and palladium are much less common than gold.
Platinum/Gold/Silver Eagles 🦅 Is the play imho😎 especially platinum eagles/fractionals-they will continue to command high premiums regardless of spot prices, USMint’s not minting 2024 1oz BU Platinum Eagles this year has definitely had an effect on 2023 prices lately 😎
Super rare- difficult to mine and grossly overlooked
I blew my chance/ Was $2,700 and the pawn shop said was going higher. They are out of business
I am waiting for the tenth ounce palladium coins.
Just started looking into palladium and platinum. Not sure which one I’ll go for first. Palladium being at its lowest is tempting but seems like it may be low for a while
Look at the historical platinum to palladium ratios and than compare platinum to gold and silver. Platinum is hands down the most undervalued PM.
Palladium is at the perfect time to buy
Palladium eagles will be the Rolls Royce of modern minted coins. Just look at the declining numbers of the eagle program since the 2017 inception. It will end soon, no doubt. Get it while you can
@@gianmichaelshannon5974 I'm imagining all the moose and grizzly bear that were missing out of from the Russian coin mintage
Its simple...Platinum Rules..🎉😂
Good vid 😇
I feel WAY better buying at $1000 than $3000.
Same here! 👍
🧐🧐💯💯
Good hope it goes down and down to get my 1st oz.. just to have some!!! Plt still a great metal to have love it 😊🥈🥈
😆 🤣 😂 What a title!! 😆 🤣 😂
If palladoum drops to $750oz i would back u the truck.
nobody deliver it 😂for that price
To me Costco selling precious metals means they're becoming mainstream and if the price drops the market is going to be diluted to death. As people sell or there's just so much silver and gold etc... out there that its commonplace.
nearly 2 bilion cars in the world and about 40m ev. whait for next industry to take over palladium, is a trap anyways. I am on sbsw accumulation. high demand on platinum, they go on palladium cause is cheaper and this will swing from one to another and build a higher price.
I subscribed then unsubscribed.
Too many "Right?"
Ill trade my platinum back into palladium once 1 ounce of platinum buys 4-5 ounces of palladium once again. I know the highly uneducated will say it wont happen but it will....ONCE AGAIN..
just so you know....screwtube unsubbed me from your channel.
