How much Platinum would you need to be in the Top 1%/5%/20% of all stackers?
We don't know what will happen in the future. There might be a huge demand for platinum, tides can and do change. Platinum could be most coveted, we just don't know until it happens. Just like with anything else, timing is important. I'm just pretty certain that platinum is near its bottom and it just has room to go higher.
I bought 2 onces at 1000. I don't care if the price drop or rise. I'm just waiting for the next move to 2000. I can wait 10 years and it still would be a 10%/year profit. If not, it will have been a fun play to watch the game
High stack all three metals platinum silver and gold and I love Platinum myself
I have all 3 plus a 5 gram bar of palladium
I have alot of silver thats my biggest stack probably wasn't a smart move but I will just put it away for a rainy day
I think gold and platinum are good because gold will rise always especially under a better economy and so will platinum

The investor demand may eventually be perpetuated by the BRICS countries as they control the platinum mines, and they will have more control of the current market one day

What happens to platinum price when we hit a global recession or depression? I am waiting for 700 to 80 in the next 6-12 months
Even if it gets that low your not gonna be able to find it for that price everytime a metal gets crushed and spot is cheap the premium just raises to out way the low spot price
Platinum is at depression pricing right now. The risk in commodities is to the upside.

Big car companies are loaded with inventory and recycled platinum and palladium cover alot of the diminishing demand
Newer inventory vehicles have palladium in the catalytic converters and all the older catalytic converters with platinum have mostly been recycled over the years. Platinum recycling has been diminishing significantly over the last few years because there's very few recycalable sources of platinum! Most recycled platinum nowadays comes from WIFI towers being replaced/ upgraded!
Platinum's first biggest problem is Palladium as they seem to share the same purposes in the marketplace (Add their prices together and you are close to gold spot). Also, if you don't have any long history of either metal being used as a monetary unit, coupled with their primary industrial purpose and demand subsiding, you might see further spot drops. I hope not, because I love Platinum as a metal.
I guess my new rule is anything that's below all-time highs is still on sale.

Great video my friend. It would be nice to see more platinum stackers. but since platinum is mostly an industrial metal with a very tight niche, Mostly as a catalyst I think those supply/demand fundamentals weigh in a lot more with regards to price. However, if half of all gold and silver stackers bough an ounce of platinum, that could move the needle. But I think it would take that level of demand.
Been stacking silver since 2016. All in ratio swapped to platinum at 32.5

I don't think retail investment demand matters much when it comes to platinum.
Neither the price-hike in rhodium to over 30.000 USD nor palladiums run to over 3.000 USD were driven by investment demand and certainly not by stackers but almost exclusively by industrial demand.

Not sure if this is true... but I heard platinum is so rare all the platinum mined so far wouldn't even fill up an Olympic sized swimming pool passed your ankles. I would be stacking Paladium instead of platinum. Supposedly paladium is used in these anti gravity space crafts that Lockheed has.... If Engineer Boyd Bushman is telling the truth.
Its not that I want to grow my money in terms of currency I want the metal to simply be tradeable for assets down the line. I want the amount of metal I trade to get an asset go down. Say I trade platinum for a used $5000 car now. I would need about 5 ounces. I want to trade a quarter of an ounce for a car later after the metal has gone up in value vs the asset.
It's not investor demand the drives prices, it's Wallstreet and industrial demands. So far electric cars have been a huge failure and everyone realizes how much of a scam it has been so industrial demands have marginally been reducing.

Look at a LONG TERM CHART........ platinum is fine... you need to check the Palladium chart to see the two differences.... Over the years, decade, ...they have done a flip flop...

I told you months ago the US mint ended their platinum production for good, that should have been an obvious note to get out. It won’t increase bud, stop hoping. There is no demand for it. The other main component killing platinum is they don’t need it for catalytic converters any longer. They can use a cheaper metal like palladium. There’s your reasons so you don’t need to wonder.
The fact the mint stopped making platinum coins is a good indicator to start buying platinum. They're just going to be more rare and in demand.

Are the other forms of osmium not good? I’ve only heard of osmium tetra chloride, and that stuff’s pretty nasty if it gets in you.
