    Thanks for this. I just got some aeon 60 blacks in 10.5 us. they just fit. Bit tight at first on the width of my feet but after like 4 skates I think they are starting to break in and im not noticing it so much. I think they will end up fitting amazing within a month. Really good to know that this 80 model you can go as low as 72 wheels as I really like the look of the aeon 70 but also the 80. I figure with the 80 you could just drop down to 72 and have close to the 72 version. Smart thinking from USD. Love the PS videos 🔥

    I've never done any aggressive skating but I'm always so tempted by this skate. I'd love to be able to throw some grinds and slides into my urban flows. I'd need to learn how to do that of course!

    Im absolutely in love with this skate! Although, I'm having a little trouble with the liner. I feel it's just a tad too skinny around the ankle bone area. My feet are pretty wide so this is most likely just an issue for me personally. I wonder if a different liner would be better for me? I also have a pair of USD Chris Farmer Sways and tried to put that liner in. It worked and took away all discomfort I was experiencing but out too much pressure on the top part of my toes/foot area.
    Could you recommend a liner that's maybe in between the skinny boy and whatever stock one comes in the SWAYS?

      Hi, I just got mine yesterday and the ankle pain is unbareable... Can you update on how you finally solved the problems?

    • @SendItGnarly
      @SendItGnarly 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chblancoj first thing I tried was switching the bolts on the cuffs. Or switching it around so the long one was on the opposite side of my pain in my ankle. It seemed to help. Theres a list somewhere online where all the bolts go. ( bolts have numbers on them i think. )
      I also after searching endlessly found a thread online about ankle gel socks on Amazon helping someone. Its like an ankle support sock with gel.
      And currently I'm using the skates as so.
      At first it still was very uncomfortable due to the extra mass from the gell sock things but after a handful of sessions it's gotten better.
      Still not ideal but waayyy better to me than out of the box. Imo.

    • @SendItGnarly
      @SendItGnarly 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also just kinda thought about it... I never remolded the liners with the gel socks on? That could actually probably help even a little more.

      @@SendItGnarly Nice!
      I was actually thinking about that! remolding them adding something to mold a larger protuberance over my ankle bone...

    • @PowerslideInlineskates
      @PowerslideInlineskates  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes actually with the 4X80mm its possible. It's not done for this only because you can do slide , grind etc with them. For only cruising, you should look at ZOOM or NEXT but if you like to add many tricks during cruising its gonna be great. Pascal Briand

  • @yobro3325
    @yobro3325 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When u do slides, does the frame or the soul plate come in contact to the ground? Eg magic slides parallel slides

    • @unfuckinglovable
      @unfuckinglovable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. You'd have to be at an absurd angle (cess slide) to touch the soul plates to the ground. That would be highly unlikely to do when trying to slow down. I have the 60s, which are even lower and I never touch my plates on anything unless grinding (or collapsing against the ground as a beginner lol).

    Hey so I got the aeon 80s, the size could only go up to 11-12 US for Inline whare house. I wear 12 US and they are too small for me which was my original concern getting them. With out the liner they are definitely fine but obviously I can’t skate with out one. I’m wondering if there is a smaller/thinner liner I can use to be okay/comfortable wearing them. I’m really disappointed they don’t have a bigger size because I want the hybrid style skate design they offer. I’m willing to buy a liner that might fit better for me but if not I’ll have to return them and look for a new skate which something I really don’t want to do. What is your opinion?

    For someone trying to transition from Casual online skates. Would you recommend these or the 60s? Not sure if I want to get into rail grinding but I would like to do some curb grinding or grinding off the side of the boot while Skating around town. I was gonna go 60s but them saw these and I think the bigger 80mm wheels may be better for City Skating

    • @PowerslideInlineskates
      @PowerslideInlineskates  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes we would recommend the Aeon 80 for someone transitioning into aggressive from casual skating. Going straight down to 60mm will feel quite slow for someone not used to such small wheels, and can be hard work over distance. You should only really use 60mm skates if your primary focus is to grind and do other aggressive style tricks. The aeon 80 will give you the bets of both worlds, you can still comfortable cruise about the city, but also have the option to do the occasional grind etc.... Sam

    is the frame plastic?

  • @70109004
    @70109004 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm very much interested on this stakes, it's like a dream skate for me, good 80mm wheels and have a decent soul plate, don't mind the u block very much I think it is good enough, my only concern is since soul plate, frame and boot are unified, if any of the parts got damaged or worn out in time, we can't replace anything, so how durable is it?

    • @unfuckinglovable
      @unfuckinglovable 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The purpose of unibody is both energy transfer amd durability. I think comparing aeon to others is like an uparmored truck vs a hydraulic lifted car.
