I am defiantly doing something wrong then if this is an easy job. I have been at it for 2 hours and still can't get the motor belt over the motor pulley. haven't even got to the arbor pulley yet. watched this video 10 times and step by step but the belt is still to short to fit over the pulley. I have the motor as high as it will go. Beyond frustrated right n ow on this Saturday. My old belts were fine after 2 years and I wish I never started this. Now I am stuck without a saw this weekend and a boatload to do!

How often should I be replacing the belts on my PCS? Twice I've had to adjust belt tension in the past year to reduce vibration. I didn't have any issues during the first 8 years of owning the saw since new.

If the arbour belt loose,Can you tighten just the arbour belt?

Your not doing anything wrong. They changed some things about the two bults that you loosen and haven't updated the video.

We recommend changing both the Arbor belt and Motor belt every two years.
