      I was up there when this happened and you Dimitris have no idea of what really happened other than the distorted story till now..... We had 3 Toyota's up there. Cement grey stock 3rd Tacoma which has rear lockers stock by the way and with ko2s (barely stuck), a 90's 4 Runner with 33s and my 3rd gen Tacoma with 33 ko2s and 3 inch lift and other things. The green 4 Runner and my Tacoma were taking runs at the snow and breaking trail. We cleared at least another 150 meters and that's being conservative. This guy with TH-cam channel and his buddy show up after we did all the work. The "story till now" stayed back with the cement grey. Cement grey Tacoma was not stranded at all and we could see his headlights and were a couple hundred meters up. They knew that we were up there breaking the trail. The guy in red 4 Runner asked to pass our green 4 Runner and my Tacoma when we were just stopped and giving our engines a little break after all the work we did so we pulled over in 3.5 feet of snow and let him a have a try at it. He got stuck on his first run at the snow. We went up to go check up on him and he had a winch and he got out with the winch. Sorry red 4 Runner guy you and your woman were nice people I just gotta set the story straight for these guys talking shit and your buddy "story till now distorting the truth. Nice people but gotta tell the proper story so people don't get the wrong idea and become keyboard warriors. My Tacoma and 4 Runner drove right out of the 3.5 feet of snow. My first words to youtuber once we got down to where the cement great Tacoma was" Hey your buddy is good up there and got winched out" I said that to him before he said the red 4 Runner is "just turning around."
      "story till now" you should do a better job of telling the truth so people don't run their mouths on here. We could have pushed the cement Tacoma could have probably gotten out with a couple more attempts. Cement grey Tacoma TRD Off Road did great for being stock with K02S, The green 4 Runner did great for being stock with 33s and some weight in it and so did my Tacoma. We got pics and videos to prove it too. Think before typing away people.

      @@rajsteint6487 @Jesse Ruiz - I’m sorry, but you guys are being really immature. No one is _“Talking shit”_ or playing _“Keyboard Warrior”_ as you put it. Shaun made no proclamation that he rescued you. He just said there was a _stuck_ Taco and showed the taco driver using _his_ traction boards to get back on the road. There was no boasting or gloating on Shaun’s part - there wasn’t even another mention of it in the video. The _”rescue”_ was my assumption, and, IMO, a safe one at that - considering the circumstances. Grow up and let it go.
      It’s not his job to tell your story, and if you’re really this insecure - I suggest starting your own channel.

    Awesome the first time I've ever seen a Jeep Gladiator all decked out and DIRTY! Finally somebody is using one for what they are made to be used for. Around NJ people have Rubicons because they cost the most and all the best off road gear on as BLING and the trucks constantly polished. 4wd only for the highway commute.

    Based on the factory flares and hood that should have been a TRD Off Road Taco with a rear diff lock. Guessing the owner didn't know how to engage it. That said it probably wouldn't have mattered. The factory tires on a Taco are hot garbage for anything other than on highway.

    • @gregsheridan
      @gregsheridan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yup and the multi terrain selector crawl control is amazing but again have to know how to use them. They also all turn off when you restart the truck including the rear locker which can be confusing if you don’t pay attention.

    • @jazzyy031
      @jazzyy031 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That’s me in the Tacoma I was aired down with rear locker engaged also part of a group of Toyota’s that cleared the trail for these guys I was waiting for my crew to come back down but he leaves that part out for the views I guess lol these comments are hilarious and deceiving

      @@jazzyy031 Good to hear you weren't that far out in the snow solo. No slag intended. I mentioned the diff lock because the video author said the vehicle was without lockers. The TRD OR Taco is a great little truck. The factory tires just suck in deep snow.

    Stuck Tacoma is a pretty common occurrence in my area. They come w/ horrid all-season tires (most models). I’ve pulled many of them out of the snow & mud w/ my F-150. Also have a Jeep, but haven’t done any extractions yet.
