Having lived in Florida for most of my life but always loved the mountains.
In July of 2019 we took an anniversary trip this same lake, I sat by a fire on the lake in tears at the beauty mostly asking my self questions.
Went home quit a great job, sold a nice home we had purchased a few months before, and moved to Utah. In all honesty it was effing crazy and the BEST decision of my life. Love the mountains and Jeep life. Thanks for the awesome content I love watching on cold snowy days.
And us mountain people do the opposite. I'm born and raised in Colorado. Saw the ocean as a young man, came home stacked cash and moved to Florida. Some of the best years of my life. But...I eventually did return home because the freedom of the West is something I need to be whole

Nice video! I had a good adventure up to that lake last summer. Friends from europe rented a RV and we drove down from Lillooet to that lake. Beautiful location! Definitely wasn't a smooth ride but made for a great memory!

Requirements to dry, waterproofing and rust control.
I think the Gladiator is perfect for what you are doing. And of all the 4x TH-cam videos the Gladiator suits you the best
We have one of the older Landcruisers. Our long term project to rebuild/restore. Crazy how thick the sheetmetal is on it compared to today's cars.

Awesome. The roof mounted panel might bo better on the tent hard top. The hard top tent was tilted beautifully at the sun when you needed it. You could also hinge it where it is now. check out some of the solar arch solutions made by sailboats, some of them tilt hard mounts as needed.
Yeah I've considered both those options. Might do that soon.
