Crazy fact: Lou Ferrigno's daughter was playing in the driveway one day, and a parked truck with a 1,000 lb compressor in the bed began rolling down. In fear for his daughter, he grabbed the truck by the bumper AND stopped it. Tore his bicep completely from the elbow. Nearly ruined his bodybuilding career, but he cared more for his daughter. And thanks to Bubba Smith, Lou met a surgeon who could fix his arm. Operated the day after the accident, and though it took six months to heal, at his first competition post-surgery he was able to deadlift 600 lbs. A real life superhero, especially to his daughter. 😊

Fun Fact: Edward Norton actually did the motion capture for the hulk so BTS he painted his whole face green with dots to capture him, just like the transformation scene was pure perfection
This will always be my favorite version of Hulk. Sure he dont look like Edward Norton but i dont give a damm, i love the skin texture, the roughness and grit of his face. He looks so menacing but his really smart too
This is the greatest Hulk we've seen on the screen. The 2003 with Eric Bana is the 2nd best.. Man, do I miss this Hulk, he was such a savage in design and strength.

(At 45:30) I've seen Hulk do this in many "universal studios" video games we're hulk rips a car in half and uses them as boxing gloves or brass knuckles (whichever you want to call it) in the early 2000's. This is PROBABLY the "last time" anyone's going to see him do this on a live action movie.

It's good that you guys are watching in order so you konw that Hulk was made because they were trying to replicate the Captain American serum.
The Hulk is mankinds most primal form. All our rage made manifested. Its our superhuman form. One drop of hulk blood we turn into a Hulk.
If I remember it correctly, the Army was trying to duplicate the super soldier serum that was used to make Captain America. Bruce Banner was one of the scientists trying to make it work by using radiation to force the cells to mutate. He was exposed by accident to a radiation overdose resulting in him transforming into the Hulk. As you saw the Army did have super soldier serum that worked but they didn’t know the reason Captain America came out as “good” and Abomination was “bad”. The character traits/enhancement was only known to the original inventor of the serum…and the Red Skull!!! Cheers
YEAH, Cap is the example of the serum done right, he while not as strong as the Hulk, Cap has full control of his abilities and Hulk while stronger is prone to rage and Banner of course doesn't have full control of his.

He's not a replica. He is the Abomination, mixture of Hulk's Gamma blood and Super soldier serum; mcu story.
Real story, read comic books. Hulk is created from a Gamma Ray bomb that was sabotaged to blow. The Leader created the Abomination through a cylinder Blonski was put in to bathe in Gamma rays at a stronger dose then what Bruce Banner went through.
Thats why he could talk better but he lost all his hair and most of his outer skin.

Hulk in the comics is an embodiment of Bruce Banner’s pent up anger because when he was growing up banner’s father was abusive. Some amazing feats Hulk has done in the comics is he held up a whole mountain range, he slammed his foot down once and shook the whole eastern seaboard of the US, and more.
He also punched the air so hard, he punched through time
He didn't slam his foot down. He was turning into world breaker hulk his strongest form at that time, and just taking normal steps was shaking the whole east coast. Tony stark said if this keeps up he will destroy the planet. So Hulk allowed himself to be hit by a satellite weapon to take himself out. HE had a comic story called heart of the monster as world breaker hulk where he was sent to the dark dimension and he fought red she hulk he made sure she was amped up to take the fight without dying and the shockwaves from just their punches vaporized wendigo, bi-beast, and fing fang foom. The thing is all three of those are as strong and durable as a calm hulk, but they were powered up to 1,000x their normal levels and still got vaporized.

@@moro3475 HE could do it in seconds with punches. The movies can't show that level of power. The russos are hacks they had no clue what to do with him in infinity war, so he became a taco delivery punchline. He should have been the super rage monster he is.

Sense you guys have seen Captian America already. its worth noting that they said the super soldier serum also enhances their inner qualities such as good and evil. Sense the new serum was based on that one, it could be why Abomination became so wicked and "bloodthirsty"
3:13 Stark Industries was the first thing that caught my attention the first time watching this movie.
Funny thing is... Dr Banner was NOT trying to create a monster. The Hulk was the result of a lab accident.

@@moro3475 the original TV show, the two individual films, and even in the MCU what happened to Dr Banner was attributed to an accident. I never read the comics, so it could be different there. I'm not well versed in hulklore outside of the TV and film versions.

My favorite MCU film. I actually prefer Ed Norton to Mark Ruffalo. The Hulk scenes are all amazing. The soundtrack is great.
Ok, what guy has the heart rate get up to 200 during foreplay or actually having sex? Unless you're not in good shape. I do tons of cardio so I've gotten to where my resting heart rate is in the 50 beats per minute range and even doing something very strenuous it doesn't get higher than 100 to 120 TOPS. But then again it is Liv Tyler.

Could y’all react to the Consultant after Iron Man2? Because it led into the events right after The Incredible Hulk which would otherwise have been a plot hole it was only 3-6 minutes.
The main issue of confusion with this movie, is that it was a pseudo sequel to Ang Lees “Hulk” movie that came out a few years before, and it isn’t part of the MCU. But I’m that movie they go through the origin of his powers and a few other things they allude to in this movie. It gets confusing with all the ins and outs of these lol
Any Lees Hulk movie isn’t part of the MCU I should clarify lol. This one is, it was the second after Iron Man, but they try to distance themselves from it due to legal issues. The Hulk characters license for movie distribution is owned by Universal Studios. So they have an agreement with them. On any solo movie with the Hulk (like this one), Universal basically receives half the income from distribution rights.

The two Hulk movies were not a box office success although they were not horrible. I liked The Ed Norton Hulk better.

Heres a cool fact about the hulk, his power comes from his rage and the angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes so he is basically unstoppable. No matter how much stronger the enemy is than him, every hit he takes will add to his rage and its just a matter of time before he becomes stronger than the enemy. The mcu really messed up that part about him and its major disaster cause thats actually hulks super power in the first place. The 2003 hulk movie actually did good job showing that part of hulk.
This movie did good too, abomination was definitely stronger than hulk when they started the fight but as the fight went on, hulk got stronger and by the end of it he was dominating abomination.

Please don’t piss off The Hulk!! Not in any way, form or fashion (except for that one time when Thanos beat him up in Avengers Infinity War) Edward Norton did a great job in this one! The movie doesn't say this but Bruce has been the hulk for 5 years. Bruce blood is highly toxic 9 out of 10 people who come in contact with his blood would die . Also when you judge this movie don't judge it as a superhero movie but a monster movie because the Hulk isn't a superhero he's a monster and Bruce is just a scientist who have a good heart he's not a superhero. The Hulk 2003 isn't part of the MCU but their are so element that applies to having similar origin either directly similar or indirectly while still giving better contacts about the characters.

The whole thing about him getting his heart rate up has nothing to do with him turning to hulk it is purely his anger and they ruined the movie with that tidbit. This was a seriously depowered Hulk who injured and didn't heal quickly, nor could jump 3 miles, like he can in the comics like in hulk 2003.

Not a horrible movie, but they nerfed this Hulk. When he travels as the Hulk he doesn't swing on buildings like spiderman lol, he jumps in like 3-7 mile jumps (hell he has jumped into space), they said they thought that looked stupid so they decided to have him jump on buildings. The Hulk movie from 2003v is the closest to how the Hulk is in the comics (minus the growing part as he got madder don't know why they did that), and the Hulk we have now is the closest to how the hulk looks in the comics, but they also made him weaker and worst as the current MCU went on. In the comics he would have taken out the whole invasion angle that happened in the avengers (including taking out the avengers as he has done in the comics more then once. THey weakened him and thor to a hilarious degree because of the me too movement and made the female characters so much stronger.
Take captain marvel, in the movies she is beating a thanos with the infinity gauntlet, which is hilarious as thanos normally without any power ups would crush her in a split second with no power ups. She has a comic form called Binary which is her strongest, and she has punched Hulk in the face, and he smiled at her while she had the look of fear in her, and punched her from a street, THROUGH a helicarrier into space. They have a fear of showing his true power in movie form for some reason.
You guys didn't notice the old man who drank the soda is Stan Lee, he helped to create spiderman, the fantastic four, Hulk and many others in the 60's.
