    Just bought this heater and it's a beast.

    The flame shouldn't go past the heat shield, is there an air pressure knob in the back you can adjust.

      This guys is absolutely correct Safety 1st and last.
      air pressure screw normally located at rear of unit, which needs turning down / anti clockwise if model has a gauge it should read for most heaters 5psi at a guess I would that this one was nearer 6 -7.
      Same if too low / inside chamber turn clockwise up to 5psi (but must just double check your manufacturers spec for model first.)
      P.s condensation in fuel tank can also cause flame issues. Drain tank / new fuel. Also check fuel filter for obstructions.👍

    Kerosene Torpedo heater is energy efficient. Farm Animals will love this they will get so toasty.

    Those bullet heaters are great... we used them in the army in Afghanistan... small ones like that and ones that were like 5 to 6 feet long and 3 foot in diameter... great heaters for as littke fuel they take

      random with brian ya so far heats the shop quick and cheaper than what we were using the only downfall is how loud it is when we are making a video

  • @TheChewy78
    @TheChewy78 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You need to turn the pressure down if flames are coming out of the front.

    You can also run heating oil. Right now it's $1.99 a gallon. Propane is about $3.50. Kerosene is around the same price. I got a new tank filled at Walmart for $15. They only fill them to 15 lbs. That makes it about $5.00 a gallon.

    put some soapstone in front it will absorb all the heat. so when u turn it off. soapstone will still radiate.

      Bob what about the exhaust coming from the heater? Do you leave a window open? How does venting the room work to prevent carbon monoxide.

    Bought one on October 19, 2020. Worked two times. Then never again. The consumer number put the “repair” on me. Took it back today, and bought something other than a dyna glo - I’m done with them!

      I am on my 2nd full heating season with this heater, and the only main issue I have is the fuel/run time gauge cracks the lens. I am sure it is related to me only running diesel fuel in it, but I will say the manufacturer has always sent me a free replacement when I email them!!

    Always ventilate at all times while in use! Do NOT seal yourself in the garage! Open a window, back door or garage door a little to get fresh air... ☠️

    • @jamesdeclan7538
      @jamesdeclan7538 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      only when the burn is incomplete, this only happens when they turn it off, and the main concern is leaving diesel-burning vehicles in a sealed garage.

    • @BREC07
      @BREC07 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jamesdeclan7538 EVERY combustion produces Carbon Monoxide, that is the real danger here. Always ventilate when burning anything. I am pretty sure it says that in the instructions.

    Dyna Glo is NOT INTENDED FOR INSIDE "ANYWHERE" But if you're stupid enough, please USE KEROSENE!!!!!!
    Is not me who's talking but my own experience because I was stupid before yourself and ended up on a ambulance.
    Take it or leave it, it's your choice. Good luck.
