Seems to be like the big heaters that my dad used to use when we used to build houses. Those work pretty good although like you said you may have to crack a few windows. But glad that'll work for you so you don't lose a winter and getting your house
I share your opinion about the spouts. You can buy universal replacements on Amazon for pretty cheap...they even come with a vent. I just replaced all my spouts with the universal "old school" ones and am glad I did.
Kevin I've got a salamander heater like that one but the one I have is a whole lot smaller and yes they definitely go through some kerosene but in something like the barndominium, it was just be hard to beat a good old wood stove that can use coal as well
Dear Kevin, at the tractor stores they sell aftermarket nozzles for $5 bucks like the old ones, then you can take new nozzle off the can and beat and stomp it and cuss it 😃 I truly hate them new fangled spouts with a passion 👍🏻 I have used my ready heater in the shop for many years without incident.
Great video, how is it working out for you a year later? Also, always use VP Racing 5 gallon fuel jugs, they're super easy to pour without spilling and never break. They work because they're simple, no stupid safety catches.
What's the issue with using it indoors? I've done it quite a bit. I've heard carbon monoxide issues but I bought a tester and its always read zero with it
I think you misspoke when you said the extension cord was supposed to be longer than 6'. I think the maximum length is supposed to be 6'. Check the instructions again. Would hate to see you catch that thing on fire!
If it keeps you warm and comfortable then it's doing what it should :) It could be a good shop heater after the house build too. Thanks for sharing.
That would work thanks Gerard.
You have a beautiful barndominium!👏🏻💯
Thank you
I remember my grandfather having a heater like that he would use it to thaw water lines in winter
Fuel cans...amen, brother. Just bought two Eagle 5 gallon galvanized steel old school cans on eBay.
Thanks for watching
Hi Kevin, dont be surprised if that heater leaves a lot of condensation on all surfaces. mine sure did.

Hopefully it will take the chill off for y’all to be blue to work inside. Thank you for sharing!
Yous Should look into solar house heater
Those are great, I have the propane version. It throws some serious heat. Great video Kevin, be well my friend.

As noted buy a new can order repalcement spouts and vents toss the orginal soputs. I also look for older cans at garage sales just for the spouts.
Appreciate the video! Getting ready to purchase one of these, so good timely info

I was worried about it being too airtight inside.
Those pos cans I got one years ago had to break it to get gas out. I have 8 old 6 gallon ones worth wieght in gold
Those heaters are like a jet engine. I agree about those STUPID gas cans. I always replaced the spouts in the pass. No I use a battery powered pump.
What is the lowest the temp guage can be set at?
Sorry i don't have the heater anymore i sold it when i got through with it.
Man, I need one of those for my garage. What store did you get it at?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see your Amazon link.
I kreo-klean additive, kerosene deodorizer at Lowes . I would gr the vanilla or cinnamon sent.
How much
I think it was $289
What state do you live that it’s getting in the 20’s at night?
The video description lists a PA mailing address.
