MS261 ("plain" ) . 12 years running now 'down' to 16" for 6-8 cords firewood/year plus trail clearing softwoods. NO problems with maintenance and Pferd. Beware the age factor 😁 that drops the weight and bar size.
Good morning annaaron, so happy to hear that I will have heard with the 291. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to not only watch but commenting as well. Joe
A lot of the people in the comments already said this, but it looks like you cut enough wood to make it worth having a pro series saw. You also live near a lot of quality saw porters. I would love to see your face after running a good ported saw!
Good evening BillsGarageWorks, I would love that! I can not lie I am still learning and almost everything I know how to do is from watching youtube content and learning from people like yourself.. I will look into this and I think my next saw may be a Husqvarna pro saw. Thank you so much BillsGarageWorks for taking time out of your day to not only watch but comment as well. It means a lot. Joe
Personally, I prefer to cut with a Husky 545. It's light, plenty of power and fast. For felling and or bucking I use a CS590 or a CS620 for anything over 20 inches, and a MS261 because I just don't run it enough🤷🏼♂
Good evening Archiemills, sorry for the late response my son Alex had a baseball game and then we went for dinner! I wish I had access to a Husqvarna I really think it may be my next purchase. Thank you so much Archiemills for watching and for commenting. Joe
Good videos, just subscribed after Dels video and started watching,Del was one of our first subs,we have had channel just a short time.Del is a great guy..
Good evening, yes Del is an absolute class act! He is even funnier in person we had a great time. Thank you so much for Subscribing I just subscribed to your channel looking forward to getting to watch and know you. Thank you so much again. Joe
The echo cs590 (27.47) sounds like crap, you need to tune it. Pig Rich, and doesn’t clean up it the cut. That’s why it got smoked by the ms291 (19.92). You have the 590 prices as a 620, and the 291 time tests don’t equal right from what you put on the video screen. I love my 590’s they make me a lot of money in firewood, but they have to have a few minor tweaks done and a good tune. Also the 291 has an advantage running a smaller .325 chain. But for $150 less and a metal split case with bolt on cylinder I would take the cs590 any day over the plastic clamshell ms291!
Good afternoon zeromark, I have a lot of learning to still do with my chainsaws thats one of the main reasons I do not tune them. As per the price I pulled them off the receipts from the dealer I purchased that chainsaws from. Like you the 590 is my favorite out of what I own. Thank you Zeromark for taking the the time out of your day to not only watch but comment as well.
Nice video Joe! Nothing like playing around with some saws! I like using my Stihl 034 and my 046 Stihl clone. But I do have a buddy with the echo 590 and that is a great saw. He put a 24” bar and it runs it no problems! My other buddy picked up up a 572xp and that saw is a runner too!! I’m no professional either. Just heat my home with wood and enjoy doing it! Keep up the good work
Thank you Alec (I hope I have the spelling right) yes it was a great way to just relax a bit! I wish we had a wood burning stove in our house! I love that Holzfforma you have, man that thing seems like a beast
@@joesoutdoorexperience you spelled it right! And yeah I’ve had great luck with that saw. Couldn’t justify spending the money on a name brand saw at the time but very pleased with it for the money
Okay not trying to be rude or anything but that Echo 590 does not fall in the 50cc saw class it's actually in the 60cc saw class to get really technical about it it is actually 59.8 CC Echoes 50cc saws is a CS 501 p or a CS 4910 or a 4920 the 4920 just come out in 2024
Good evening Timrum , your not rude at all your just stating facts. I rounded down with the CC's LOL!! Timrum thank you for taking the time out of your day to not only watch but comment as well. Joe
Good evening, I keep hearing how good Husqvarna's are. I really think I may buy one as my next chainsaw! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to not only watch but comment as well. Joe
Good morning ruiborges, I would love to I just don’t know anyone with a Husqvarna! I may have to save some money and buy one as my next chainsaw! Thank you ruiborges for taking time out of your day not only to watch but commenting as well. Joe
Good evening Eric, I wish I had one and or knew someone with one. Thank you Eric for taking time out of your evening to not only watch but to comment as well! Joe
Dwainetyncompany I would love to try a 661 that’s one heck of a chainsaw sheesh!! Thank you Dwainetyncompany for taking time out of your evening to not only to watch but comment as well. Thank you Joe
@@joesoutdoorexperienceI rocked my 261 as the first saw I’ve ever owned for two almost three years before I picked up the 661. The difference is remarkable. I don’t work for anyone with my saws, just like yourself. Not even a homeowner just yet. I run my saws out of sheer passion and love for woodworking. I originally bought my 261 to freehand mill black walnut and red cedar slabs. The saw ended up going down to Florida to clean up after Hurricane Ian, it’s been through hundreds of hours so hard use. Haven’t had a single issue to this day, phenomenal saw, the 261. I’ve only recently purchased the 661 maybe two months ago. I have maybe two cans of Stihl motomix through it. Dropped some towering sycamores and milled only a single slab of black walnut with it so far. Absolutely a monster. If you’re in the market for a new saw, those professional saws don’t disappoint, whatsoever.

Wow thank you I just subscribed to your channel looking forward to learn some new stuff! My parents have a ton of black walnut trees on the property I keep hearing that they are black gold. I also love the fact that your chainsaw still works and operates perfect..
Thank you dwainetycompany for the kind words. Yes we will all grow our channels together. I am extremely interested in learning how to mill lumber. Right now I can not afford a milling machine but if I can learn with an alaskan saw mill that would be sick LOL!
Morning Joe , nice job on the comparisons . I like my ECHO 620P !!! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Good morning Del, yes I wish the weather held out the other day! I would have loved to run that saw.

I like the 590. Just put some O-rings on the air filter top and bottom.
That’s a brilliant idea I’m going to look into that tomorrow! Thank you.

Good morning Benjamin , I just checked the prices on the ECHO 4910 not a bad price that may very well be my next chainsaw. Thank you for watching Joe

If you ever take up wood working as a hobby you would have a productive shop!
What’s going on Dan, lol you’re right about that!!
My Husky 550xp mkII eats wood like nobodys business!
