If you have not removed it already, clean that spark arrester, it'll save you headache later. Also, when you check oil with the dipstick you don't screw it in.
I have found when changing oil in mine, if you put the funnel inside the generator and just let the spout stick out the drain hole in the case bottom, it will make no mess. ... Jim
FYI EVERYONE WHO HAS HARD TIME RESTARTING THE PREDATOR 3500 WHEN ITS HOT OUTSIDE... All you have to do is remove the gas cap and it will start right up. Just needs to vent. Somehow it took me almost two summers to finally figure this out lol. . ALSO Jesus Christ delivered me from meth, adderall prescription, alcoholism, cigs etc in Sept 2014. No rehab or any other outside help! Just the Lord and His Word!! Eternal life in Jesus Christ alone. Make sure you seek and abide in Him!
How long have you had your predator? I'm looking into getting one but can't decide based on the mixed reviews looks like 50% love it and the other 50% think it's a waste of money. Just want to make sure I make the right choice.
I have the same generator from harbor freight. Iam a owner operator truck driver. It runs 10 hours or more every night 2 years same unit on my truck. Runs my heat or ac and microwave. Still going strong just changed the oil and plug regular maintenance. Worth every dime
I am getting conflicting reports.......as to whether or not this model can be run while in motion (travelling)......while in my generator bay in my motorhome. Some say it does not run well in that situation....others say its goodto go while enroute.. What say?
Well if you are hitting speed bumps it would be bad. While driving everything it’s in a steady motion only of the road is smooth. I e lifted 2000w predator of the ground while on you can tell why it’s bad the motor moves a lot while combusting.
Couldn’t tell you. You’d have to look at each one and see how many watts and amps they pull at full load. If you tell me that, I can help you find the answer, otherwise I can’t really help. Sorry!

I'd say your numbers are way off. Just look on the Harbor Freight website and look at the reviews.

1 qt is 32 oz this only takes 20 oz. And when checking oil level you do not have to screw the dip stick in for a reading.

The manual says to clean filter, let it dry then oil it. So, could you show that please?
