I was a baumkuchen baker at Juchheim Singapore Pte Ltd for 5years.
When I visited Taiwan, I used to go to buy baumkuchen at 元樂.
元樂 is very nice bakery !

Actually, the best way to cut cake is using (dental) floss.
It makes a straight cut and nothing stick on the knife.
And this “metallic taste” won appear as well.
