Sweet music to my ears...I never got to work on the 717 as they were fairly rare in Europe, but I was lucky enough to work on the MD-83 back in the 90's....really miss them, truly my favourite aircraft that I ever worked on....well, that and the 737-200....god, I'm showing my age 😂 love all your vids
Really sad the -88's and the -90 will get retired in June. Atleast we will still have the -80 for a long time here in Venezuela. Sad about the -90 though, atleast the 717 will still fly in the US!
@@jonahair747 Reminds me of my Frontier 737-200 takeoff from Rockford in 1986. We had maybe 15 passengers on board and about a 2,500 foot takeoff run. I swear we were at 3,000 feet before we were over the opposite end of the runway. I almost passed out from the G-forces, LOL
Best spool up I've ever heard from a 717-200

insane 20 second takeoff
Wow, that looked like maybe a 3000 ft takeoff run and then you're up in the air like crazy! Cool rain showers in rain falling off in the distance.
This was a fun takeoff for sure
