I've never really listened to FKA Twigs but something about her astrology tweets & the cover art caught my attention lmao This album is really fucking good. Her voice is very beautiful & the production is so colorful & story-like. I felt like I was in a far away land or video game when listening. "lightbeamers" is my favorite at the moment. Definitely reminded me of Tinashe's "Amethyst" mi-tape! You know they say her & FKA Twigs & Doja Cat could be sisters. Musically I think that would be a dope collaboration too! They are all so eclectic.
I wouldn't say it's more adventurous/weird to hear FKA Twigs and Jorja to be on a drill beat. UK drill has become so popular, that it's now been pushed to the mainstream of music. Even Ed Sheeran's done a drill track. FKA Twigs is also from the UK, so it wouldn't be far off that she'd do drill as well. Plus, there's a lot of UK rappers who take from their dancehall & r&b influences and sing on tracks (i.e. French the Kid, Abra Cadabra, Wewantwraiths, etc.)
FKA Twigs is highly underrated, but my main favorite track of hers right now is the Measure of a Man. That song it sound like it can be played be in a James Bond film.

This mixtape is so great : funnier and more catchy than her other works but it's not totally generic, there are still risky and experimental parts like we can feel her vision and artistry. Her chemisty with el guincho is incredible, the whole project is cohesive and creative. Pamplemousse is my least fav but Caprisongs is a strong 8/10

I wouldn't say it's more adventurous/weird to hear FKA Twigs and Jorja to be on a drill beat. UK drill has become so popular, that it's now been pushed to the mainstream of music. Even Ed Sheeran's done a drill track. FKA Twigs is also from the UK, so it wouldn't be far off that she'd do drill as well. Plus, there's a lot of UK rappers who take from their dancehall & r&b influences and sing on tracks (i.e. French the Kid, Abra Cadabra, Wewantwraiths, etc.)

The Pa Salieu feature on Honda is 🔥🔥
This mixtape is so great : funnier and more catchy than her other works but it's not totally generic, there are still risky and experimental parts like we can feel her vision and artistry. Her chemisty with el guincho is incredible, the whole project is cohesive and creative. Pamplemousse is my least fav but Caprisongs is a strong 8/10

I love this new era of FKA Twigs. In comparison to her last album, she seems to be healthier and happier now and a bit more experimental with being more fun and upbeat.
