So with this monitor if you set it to fast is the ghosting and smearing not that bad? Cuz i'm not a competitive gamer but i play a few hours when I can. If the ghosting can be virtually eliminated, I may consider buying this panel since i want an untrawide that isn't 1440p.
It's weird hearing this review. This has been my monitor for a year straight, and I've had no problems with it, but i came from a significantly worst monitor, so this was a huge upgrade for me.
Some MSi monitors have 'Zero Latency' functionality. You can set it on or off. I bought an Msi Optix MAG322CQR about a week ago, but even though I saw that it had 'FreeSync Premium' technology, it bothered me that such a new generation monitor did not have a function called 'Zero Latency'. If I wanted to, I would buy the 'AG321CQR' model at a more affordable price. but I bought it just because the MAG322CQR model has better ports and design.. If you have information, do you think I should return this 'MAG322CQR' and get the 'AG321CQR'? Model of the year MAG322CQR (2020). If AG321CQR (2021)?
Thanks for your honesty I really wanted a curved ultrawide but the motion blur and black smearing is a deal breaker. Your video helped a lot in regards to narrowing down my search, I have an alienware x14 and I am now looking at the AW2523 or the non curved IPS version of the monitor you just reviewed. What are your thoughts?
Thank you so much, that was really helpfull. Now we need the same kind of video with your follow-up monitor. Does it perform better? I'm on the same boat as you were, but I'm unsure if Im going to miss the curved panel.
The IPS one I got to replace this one was definitely miles better in all aspects. However I returned it shortly after because of a dead pixel and now use an OLED LG TV as a monitor.
I connected it to ps5 I can't adjust the setting on the game mode, it does not let me, can anyone help me pls, it's the same on anti motion blur, can't do profesionál either the pro mode eye saver etc. Same as the Image
Well, if you filmed or recorded your claims about ghosting issues, etc. I can believe your statements. Unless you've had a bad customer experience with MSi, a reason to drag it down.
You can’t accurately record ghosting as the camera has ghosting itself. Also the ghosting issues with this monitor and many other VA panel monitors is well documented. But be my guest and buy one yourself then let me know what you find out.
@@kennethlourisombrog2149 IT depends what you playing/doing On your monitor. Not sure why but Warzone 2 is basically CoD Ghosts on this monitor lol, smearing everywhere. On the other hand Destiny 2 works fine just like Horizon 5, but Asetto Corsa Comp - same story as with Warzone. No idea why it is like that. In the end it Goes for sale. Better borrow some money and but something with IPS.
Hey great honest review! I’ve been looking around read reviews of MAG301CR2 and they say ghosting was a problem. Not reallt sure what ghosting is. What about the MAG301RF that you mentioned in of the replies, was it better? I am more leaning into the curve. I am coming from a 240hz 25inch alienware monitor. Thanks
Thanks for this goat now my screen finally doesn't look like shit when going to the dark places!!!
Just set the response time to fast instead of fastests. Menu, game, response time, fast. And the problem of the image loop in games will go away.

Thank you for your complete honesty review, I was hoping this monitor would be a good fit but I’d rather spend more for a better experience
No problem! Get the MSI MAG301RF instead that's what I got and it was a much better monitor, however I did return it and get an oled tv instead.
@@FilledWithChi11 I will look into that because I’m big on refresh rates so I’m looking for 200hz and up

@@FilledWithChi11 Thanks for the update. I might switch to that monitor. Hopefully without dead pixels!
What is the depth size of the stand??

Help I buy this monitor and the image don’t fit all the screen. I’m using laptop hdmi Lenovo slim 7 pro x window 11
Did u find a fix
Why is my refresh rate stuck on 60hz
would've been the perfect monitor if it was IPS
what do you think of Msi Optix G27CQ4 27
Don’t have any experience so can’t offer my thoughts about it
I got IT and its very good monitor
I got this triple and horrible black color ghosting
thanks!

@@FilledWithChi11 yeah I think you're right. But is it really that trash? I mean, I am on a budget and I am considering this over the Xiaomi 34.

Ghosting is a gross smearing following moving objects on screen, you don’t want it trust me. Stick to IPS monitors
