I have this monitor. Awesome screen and looks good from about 60cm away, very useful for multitasking but I must say that I miss using one monitor for gaming and the other for a video or something. I think this paired with a 2nd screen is perfect.
damn that refresh rate and when i heard 200hzs it sounded new to me and impressive and i have a question , about the audio is it from a speaker or the monitor just asking because i aint never seen a monitor with that good audio by it self
Not really. If those games run at 120fps+ then they will look decent, but you need a hi end machine for that. If you have that money why bother with budget monitor like this one? No 120fps = everything became a blurry mess. Bought that monitor yesterday and already wanna return it.

@@banjoravioli7185 vesa mount I got came with the adapter. I will say though you may need to go to a hardware store to get different screws. Seeing how the monitor is curved.
I'm not sure if this is still a good choice in 2023 - i want the 21:9 aspect ratio because QHD might be to much on GPU but also not planning to play too much. Ich just want the experience of ultra-wide.
I use a chrome extension called ultrawidify. Basically it will automatically detect what the aspect ration of the content you are watching it. If it detects black borders around a 21:9 video it will automatically fit the video to your screen. Sometimes you have to refresh the page once or twice if it doesn't detect it though. I've found it very useful but some youtubers put a watermark on the bottom corners of their screen where the black bars would be so the app gets confused sometimes.
How do you mount this monitor to something like Ergotron LX Desk Monitor Arm? Manual lists support for 75x75 Vesa mount but it's quite apparent that standard hybrid (the ones that have holes for both 100x100 and 75x75) square mounting place won't work because the screw holes seem to be placed inside recessed rather small circular area where you mount the original stand. Is there some kind of adapter available or do we have to figure out some DIY solution for it? Thank you for the answer in advance

That is what people have said and I can agree on the extra features that don't help much (true of basically all monitors ha) but I have not had trouble with Ghosting. In regards to any bleeding maybe slightly at the bend points on the top and bottom but even then if you change your viewing angle it goes away. Really seems hit or miss panel to panel honestly and I guess I got lucky or they got unlucky!
Can you use a Bluetooth speaker with this constantly plugged in by one of the USB ports and through a 3.5mm port or do you need proper desktop speakers?

I can't help myself. I love the LG 25UM58 but, no adjustments, and just 75hz. But 29/30 inches 21:9 just too large and not great quality in terms of pixel density. Wish there were 27" WFHD monitors, but seem like it's just utopia.

So I hook it up via DisplayPort and all I get is 144hrs but yet when I do hdmi I get 180/181 how do I get it to do the 200hrzs I’m using a msi gf75 thin as my machine for it I plug the display cable into a docking station or if I switch to the hdmi I just plug it right into the port on the laptop but can’t get it to the 200

Not bad since it supports 200Hz! Also you might have some additional reduction using their built in motion blurring. A couple of times I swear it helped!

only thing im cautious about with buying this monitor is that its a VA panel. i have a 1440p 240hz X27 Omen just sitting in my garage wasting space because i hate the VA panel on it. Washed out colors, no contrast, no saturation. Its just ugly to look at lol but hey, thats VA panels for ya.
@@mr-shiro2468 30 inch is not good for gaming mate, 24 - 27 is perfect. If you want to play and win in competitive games i recommend 24-27 Zowie . Ultra wide monitors will ruin your skills,and you won't be able to improve. Of courses if you want to play solo game you can take 30 inch ultra wide.

I bought it to play competitive fortnite but I had a problem that when I play on creative I can see all the image in the monitor but when I play arena it doesn't let me see the all image. I press F11 but the image extended and is not look good I want to see the image like you see it on your screen. any help? Thank you!!
So when I play fortnite it is perfectly full screen in regular game modes but when I play arena it has the black bars on the side which effects my gameplay and i dont know how to fix that

No space is squashed that I am aware of for all the gaming/computing I have done with this monitor. I do a blur test on camera and I have not seen any bad blurring but that might depend on your PC and settings and a game by game basis.
@@samsonstevens7181 No I have owned a 21:9 29 inch for 6 years. The resolution is 2560x1080 so imagine a 24 inch 1080p monitor with about 30% extra screen added on the sides. In some games like overwatch it does cutoff the vertical space as to not give a competitive advantage, but in almost every other game it just adds more horizontal space to see. You do have to increase the FoV in most games so that you don't get what is commonly called a fisheye effect but most games do have the slider or it can be edited in the files. If you don't mind putting in some extra work about 1 hour to setup some games in order to have the ultrawide experience than it's definitely worth it. But some games are finicky with this resolution so there might not be a fix to get the game running at this aspect ratio. As long as you are aware of that before you get an ultrawide than I think you are fine.

I want to get 3 of these as a triple monitor setup for sim racing but Im scared I will see the pixels. The monitors will be about 4 feet from my face. The PS5 is smart enough to upscale the image so that it fills up the wider screen. Typically, it will take a 1080 image and upscale it to fit the monitor. So while ultrawide monitors are not "officially" supported on the PS5, you can still use them. ~B

You can only make it true full screen on TH-cam if you are watching specific 21:9 content!

You can get more than 60hz by changing your display settings. To get 200hz you'd need display port!

If you are having issues download/open Nvidia software and manually change the hz!

its ppi is the same as a 24inch 1920x1080 monitor 93 ppi

I bought it to play competitive fortnite but I had a problem that when I play on creative I can see all the image in the monitor but when I play arena it doesn't let me see the all image. I press F11 but the image extended and is not look good I want to see the image like you see it on your screen.

So when I play fortnite it is perfectly full screen in regular game modes but when I play arena it has the black bars on the side which effects my gameplay and i dont know how to fix that
They add the black bars in competitive modes to remove any advantage you would have over anyone without an ultrawide monitor.

does the ultrawide squash the vertical space, or does it expand the horizontal space? Also is there bad motion blur compared to a tn/ips panel? Ive heard thats the main issue people have with va panels
No space is squashed that I am aware of for all the gaming/computing I have done with this monitor. I do a blur test on camera and I have not seen any bad blurring but that might depend on your PC and settings and a game by game basis.

@@samsonstevens7181 No I have owned a 21:9 29 inch for 6 years. The resolution is 2560x1080 so imagine a 24 inch 1080p monitor with about 30% extra screen added on the sides. In some games like overwatch it does cutoff the vertical space as to not give a competitive advantage, but in almost every other game it just adds more horizontal space to see. You do have to increase the FoV in most games so that you don't get what is commonly called a fisheye effect but most games do have the slider or it can be edited in the files. If you don't mind putting in some extra work about 1 hour to setup some games in order to have the ultrawide experience than it's definitely worth it. But some games are finicky with this resolution so there might not be a fix to get the game running at this aspect ratio. As long as you are aware of that before you get an ultrawide than I think you are fine.

I want to get 3 of these as a triple monitor setup for sim racing but Im scared I will see the pixels. The monitors will be about 4 feet from my face. I have spent the last 4 years playing in full 4K on a single monitor, Im afraid that because Im so use to having such a high quality monitor, this one will look crappy in comparison and I wont like it. 3 of these monitors are still half the price I paid for my 32" 4K monitor.
