Verbally teaching the first letter Sounds of Words. This does not require looking at letters, no recognition of letters required. It's all through listening to the sounds. Develops child's listening skills as well.

Next, here is what the child will learn about the letter in one Week: (Remember we will only teach the small sounds and their sounds. No Capital letters and names of the letters)
1) Teaching all the sounds of one letter. For instance if you are teaching the letter c. Teaching the following 2 sounds of that letter /k-s/ (Easy activity mentioned in the video)

2) Next you will practice listening to the sounds /k-s/ in sentences. This is the second most important skill that the child will learn in the week regarding the letter c. (Requires a Letter Story Book)
3) Writing the small letter on a white board or blackboard.

I'm Sara and I'm a mother to two boys. Yahya born in 2016 and Ziyad in 2019. I've exclusively homeschooled Yahya for 6 years then he started school as there wasn't much option for socializing and he was quite shy in public. Ziyad has been homeschooled till the age of 5. A very active child and I couldn't take his energy anymore at home. :D
Though our kids go to school (an average one, nothing like beacon or so!) We continue to homeschool them with our international buys. School is for socializing and to build some resilience in kids.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Saudi Arabia when I was 1.. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life (till my Bachelors).
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018. Moved to Pakistan in 2020.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing. Also, a one-year Diploma in Early Years Education (3-6 years).
