Teaching how to write the letter and recognizing it and learning the letter name in one Week is an outdated method. This will not help in building literacy skills.
But if you still want to stick to one letter a week approach then focus on the following method:
P.S: The order of letter will not be from a-z. The order is chosen based on the sounds that will result in reading 3-5 letter words in few weeks.

Verbally teaching the first letter Sounds of Words. This does not require looking at letters, no recognition of letters required. It's all through listening to the sounds. Develops child's listening skills as well.
Next, here is what the child will learn about the letter in one Week: (Remember we will only teach the small sounds and their sounds. No Capital letters and names of the letters)
1) Teaching all the sounds of one letter. For instance if you are teaching the letter c. Teaching the following 2 sounds of that letter /k-s/ (Easy activity mentioned in the video)
Video on all the sounds of all the letters: • Phonics | SARA MEER
2) Next you will practice listening to the sounds /k-s/ in sentences. This is the second most important skill that the child will learn in the week regarding the letter c. (Requires a Letter Story Book)
3) Writing the small letter on a white board or blackboard.

Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

should i buy all the phonic program of kifayat? if you are going to use all of their books in later videos then I am thinking to buy their phonic program.
Yes, the book comes with readers. Message Kifayat if it's possible to buy just the English Junior Infants with its 4 readers.
oxford reading tree series ... which set is suitable for the kids to read?
The books in the Oxford Reading Tree are divided into 20 levels.
For instance, the lowest level 1 is for ages 3-4 years old. Nursery kids basically who are just beginning to learn about reading.
Similarly Level 2 and 3 books are for ages 4-5
Level 4 books are for ages 4-6 and so on!

That is so true! If they are left out or not stored in a properly sealed jar toh dry ho jatay. But once I bought them and made sure to not leave them out and stored them in a tightly sealed jar, that worked! They were soft for many months.

Sweet miss.why you dont choose the jolly phonocs orders alphabet? Kifayat select order of alphabet according to wtiting not for reading.
It's according to reading as well! After the child finished the sounds of the 1st cluster, he'll be able to read a lot of words made from those sounds

Assalam o alaikum! I have started using your method of verbal blending and my son is MASHALLAH catching it very well. I have some questions if you don't mind to answer !
1. I have bought some books of nursery level where capital and small letters are taught together. and my son is also getting the idea of big and small letters.he already knows first sound of every letter. he can read cvc words and his blending is getting better MASHALLAH.Now should i reverse all the process and start by your method of phonics ( all sounds of a letter) and kifayat curriculum or should i continue with the curriculum i bought and teach him capital and small letters and phonic sounds etc. I also have the good and the beautiful curriculum in pdf form. please share your sincere opinion on what should i do?
2. can you please share how to teach urdu to kids I have watched your older videos but now how are you doing with your 2nd child? Are you teaching him English and Urdu together?

Okay, first off I'm so happy to see how much your putting in efforts. And MA you too have purchased pdf curriculum. Very good!
No need to buy more Workbooks, if you've already bought!
From your message, I get the feel that you have experience of teaching phonetically with your child and you are looking and applying new ideas.
So, here's what I would suggest!
I did the same with Yahya. Taught him all the basic sounds, then we moved on to first letter sounds and blending and cvc words!
But, when I got my hands on LoE, then I started from ground zero again. We did all the Voiced, unvoiced, nasal sounds talk.
Then we did blending verbally, segmenting and then we started with the letters a week.
The benefit in doing so? The gaps were covered and Yahya enjoyed and in its true essence he started understanding the "logic" behind what he was learning 😊
So, in short! Don't skip this part, now that your child is already familiar, he will grab the concepts faster. As you said he is enjoying. Don't loose that part....he should keep enjoying learning the subject!
About Urdu, ah I'm so lazy, as I never found something as good as Logic of English, I feel lazy teaching the Subject. 🥲
But if I would stop procrastinating, I would go with Kifayat's Urdu Books and MUSE Urdu lessons on TH-cam for Letter stories.

I can not afford to buy such an expensive curriculum. but i am using your logic and ideas and trying to implement on the material and books that I have. Shukriya! 🤩 I just talk how I talk generally in conversations. But yes, Urdu is my priority, that's one major reason that I started this channel, to have educational content in Urdu for Pakistani audience. We definitely better understand anything in our own language!
