I know the video is 5 years old, but if you still read the comments….thank you for this. I am homeschooling my 2 year old granddaughter and I try to do a lot of research to know how to teach her different things. I found this video to be particularly helpful. She knows by sight all her letters (capital and lowercase), but she still wants to just scribble. Hopefully these techniques will get her started to write letters.
I have a son going 4yo this year. He attended Pre-K at 3yo but he is struggling in writing. I know it's kindda early but I did not thought he will have a hard time catching up with other kids. Hopefully your vids can help us through and looks fun knowing these diff approaches.

Great stuff here I thought I was done being a educator but after seeing this it’s a wonderful thing to have a tool belt to help teach others especially our children
Thank you for this info, I want to teach my 4 yr old granddaughter how to write her name so she is ready for kindergarten next Sept. I taught my own kids but I’m not sure I taught them properly and let’s be real, grandchildren are our do-overs so I want to do it right 😂

You could start with the concept even younger using you cars tracing then finger and then a pencil

How many minutes a day do you suggest the child does it?
I'm a left-handed creative writer, and when the subject I'm writing about is fresh in My Head; I can't break from either Microsoft Word or Notebook until My Story is Completed!! It's an Excellent profession to be pursued.
