This is why the internet can be truly amazing. I have to adjust my Pagani Pepsi, and I thought, "I wonder if there's a video on how to move this pin?" And here it is. Thanks for this.
There is a small gap in the side of the half link. Look for that and then work in the floss so it is right around the springbar and pull it into the gap and it will release. This is the easy way to do this and anyone can do it. Thanks for posting the video!
Thank you, I've been struggling with my Pagani GMT, it's a tad too lose, if I take one more of the jubilee links out it's a little too tight, I played with that micro-adjust pin for like 30 minutes last night and just thought "this is how I have to wear this watch I guess". this is genius and I never would have thought of it. Also, if anyone has issues with their floss not being strong enough, or something like that, I used one of the internal strands of a piece of 550 cord, worked like a charm
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I just purchased this exact watch and love everything about it. I was in the middle ground between having the bracelet too tight or too loose with link removal and couldn't believe there wasn't a micro-adjustment. I just couldn't figure it out. Knowing how to unclip the bracelet under the enclosure snap was the key for me. I pried on it a bit but was afraid to break it so I stopped. Your - very clear and concise - video showed me there was a way! I have a springbar tool so I didn't use the floss, but that was a good idea! Cheers.
I've been wearing my PD Batman for a week a little loose. Then I got ambitious and tried this. It fits perfect now! Thank you for this video...you're brilliant 👏🏽🤙🏽
I was frustrated before I watched this video. My pagani watch just wouldn’t sit on my wrist properly and it needed two micro adjustments that I couldn’t do using the spring bar. And then I watched this trick. Voila! I’m finally happy with the watch. The clasp has become a bit wobbly though but it hasn’t broken. I hope it stays intact and I’m able to finally wear my watch which was in the watch box since I ordered. Thank you very much.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Even though I am fairly experienced, I tried and failed for over an hour with different tools. Then I saw your video and it took me less than a minute to succeed! Congrats! Your thinking outside the box was remarkable and will help many people. Thank you again!
Such a good tip. I couldn’t get it with the spring bar tools but this worked like a charm. As a tip- try to pull the floss in a contained area as the spring bar might come flying out
I spent like 30 mins trying to adjust the bracelet but I didn't have the right tools, with your tutorial this went smooth and easy, now the watch fits perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for posting this video. I just received my Pagani PD 1733 I just couldn't get the micro adjustment pin out with a little forked tool. I can't wait to try this it looks like the answer.
For those wondering why the pin won't compress. You were pressing the wrong pin shoulder. The real pin shoulder is all the way up, almost touching the clasp wall. I barely could get in-between the pin shoulder and the clasp wall, with the screwdriver that came in the box.
Thank you for your video! I have struggled with a spring bar removal tool from my watch repair kit, with no luck. I managed to take the spring bar off with a precision 0.8mm pentalobe screwdriver from my smartphone repair kit. It was a matter of a second.
If you fold the diver's extension back, there is a gap in one side to allow a spring bar tool or micro screwdriver in to remove the pin. I initially tried the floss and it just broke.
I was about to try a strong razor blade, but this is genius. Updating my comment the next day: I only had that wide floss. Thought about using strong thread but instead went for my razor blade idea. Looked carefully under a loupe and it worked in seconds. Annoyingly, looking at the similar mechanism on the hinge side of the clasp, I could see Pagani used a different pin. Not quite a standard pin with a collar that a tool could easily fit, but it had slight collar indentions. Out of curiosity I got a small pin tool and was able to disengage it fairly easily. I wonder why they didn’t use this same pin on the micro adjust side???
In the video, it's not clear where exactly the floss contacts the springbar. However, I got it close the the end, gave it a yank, and the springbar released! So, it worked... even if I'm not precisely sure how. Thanks for this!
@@lestersmerling1397 Not sure what you mean by half link. This is about the micro-adjust small springbars. You have to try a few times with different floss positions.
I watched your great video and imitated it and succeeded after two attempts (it was a strong pull and the floss was broken, but I was lucky to pull it slowly and gently). I'm sorry for the delicate finish of the Pagani design. Because people who love watches are usually ‘very’ delicate. This was a very annoying task because Pagani did not consider the user's convenience.
Got a watch with a Jubilee Bracelet from AliExpress and it had the same mechanism. This video was exactly what I needed. Wonder what the official method is 🤔
Just adjusted it with a regular tool on mine. Took a magnifier as to see that I was pushing the ring/edge on the side of the case of the watch and it all went ok in 10 seconds flat. Just be careful and be ready to catch the springbar.
I did find a string strong enough for the job instead of a dental floss. First time went super smooth. Popped out immediately. Then I happily plugged the buckle back just to realize that it was upside down 🤦♂ Second time it was a little hustle, but in the end after 10 minutes of swearing it all worked out. thnx.
@@Unlucky1776 Second time mine went real hard, but worked. On the other watch it didn't work at all, so I got mad and managed to take it out with a tool that you use to take out pins when you change straps. Couple tiny scratches, I don't care. No one will see them anyway ))
@@smashexentertainment676 lucky! I have the jubilee version which the micro adjust is slightly different. You can only take out the spring bar thing on 1 side and I put that side down by accident so now it’s basically junk
I couldn't either, but I was able to get a screwdriver into the cut-out in the extender link that you can see at 0:33. When the extender link is locked, the cut-out isn't fully expose like that, so you'll need to wedge a small screwdriver between the underside of the clasp and the top surface of the bracelet. Once you get the spring bar out, you may need to fix the notch on the extender link. You can see this notch at 0:49. The notch on my extender link had "lips" on both sides which prevented the spring bar from being pulled out of the notch. It appears that Pagani assembled the extender link to the clasp in the locked position without ever checking if it could be unlocked. What I did to fix my extender link is to file down the clasp-side of the notch so that spring bar could actually be pushed down into the notch.
I tried and tried with a small screwdriver, and got nowhere. Then I watched this video. It took about 10 seconds to pop the micro adjustment pin out with dental floss. Yay!
It is quite a mystery to use floss; Depending on the individual differences, some of them can be made by removing the spring rod or using a flat-blade screwdriver. If there is only one side to remove it, is it originally made only to remove it, not to fine-tune it, and is it a remnant of the misappropriation of the previous work that has four holes?(Because it cannot be inserted from the outside) The Rolex GMT Master 2 doesn't have a hole on the outside, but does it slip the same way?Lol "I removed all frames in the initial state, and the frame that could be stored in the clasp was released, and it felt like it was hard to open and close, so I wanted to fine-tune it, so I finally made it with a floss, but the pin was broken. One flew away, and the spring flew away.I had a hard time finding it. "So I got annoyed, so I put it in the fourth innermost part, not just one."So, I increased the number of three frames, and just settled down in a clasp storage state, and relaxed by releasing them, is that correct?Lol It's dangerous if you mess with it badly. I don't want to mess with it anymore. The release state is to loosen, so regardless of the position of fine adjustment, it is more correct than loosening and closing in the first release state, right? Actually, I want to try it in all positions.
Woe, OK, you got me. When I saw this video I thought GREAT so that how you do it. 2 hours and yards of floss later I resigned to the fact that it is not as easy as it looks, in fact I don't believe it works. The video does not show it working, it shows a video shot changing to the clasp pin dropping but not undoing. So in short, open and fold out the clasps mini extender to reveal pin and at one end a tiny gap to allow access to the pin end ... and then do what you've always done ... attack it with a mini pen knife tip end and it will release easily. Forget the floss !
The pagani clasp quick link is anything but. I've struggled for ages and ended up with a scratched bracelet. The micro adust needed a screw driver to lever it open and now won't close, t's far too tight. I feel like chucking this junk in the bin.
Fantastic, but I had to slow down the speed of the video to understand how it worked, it took me 20 seconds to do it and without scratching anything with tools such as blades or screwdrivers. THANK YOU.

I have a small opening on the side so a simple pusher works fine, 5 sec job. I think they fixed it on the newer runs
Ingenious method for getting that stubborn little pin out. Thanks very much.
I had to resort to my tried and true method of a razor. Razors also help push the spring pin down when you reassemble things...
An Xacto knife blade will work as well, possibly a little safer too.
