I bought this watch based on your review last year and I am still loving it! I have purchased a few other watches in the mean time, but this is still my favorite. I even modified the bracelet to accept quick release spring bars, and I have to say that has made this strap monster even more fun!
February 2022 update for anyone interested in this watch: bezel is now 120 clicks with very minimal slop. The ceramic paint is now aligned well at the 6. The cyclop is now aligned (at least on mine) however still has no anti refractive coating. The clasp on the is smooth on the Batgirl version (I cannot comment if the oyster bracelet is fixed).
I ordered the "Batman" GMT the minute I viewed this video. The watch must have taken a few bumps on its journey to me because the watch would tick a bit, then stopped dead. I removed the watch back, removed the balance wheel, checked the hair spring and it looked fine. I installed the balance back and it started swinging freely again...in every position! Whew! This is one beautiful watch. Thanks Jodi.
@@kieranblacker how long did it take? I'm in the southeastern US and I've been waiting on mine for over a month now. Almost 3 weeks ago it said it had arrived in the US and picked up by last mile carrier!
Received one of these on 19 December, set it, worn it everyday since and it has gained 74-ish seconds since without any adjustment. That works out at less than two seconds a day. Happy with that as it’s my first automatic watch(I’ve worn a quartz 300m Seamaster since 2007!) Awesome watch, Pagani jubilee bracelet on its way to me too!
I've just ordered one of these with the red and blue bezel - for the truly astounding price of just £66 (plus, I'll get a couple of quid more in my pocket via TopCashback!). I really don't know how they do it for this price - but I'm VERY glad that they do! And many thanks Jodie for flagging this one up to all of us ))
Newer versions of this watch from AliExpress have addressed most of the issues in this review. The 31 in the date window is properly centered in mine. The color transition is now in the proper place on the 6 in the bezel. The "Japanese MVMT" label has been removed. Love this watch, looks really smart!
Picked mine up from the official Pagani Design Aliexpress store and safe to say all the issues mentioned have been rectified one hell of a watch for the coin, The "Explorer" has been dropped from the dial the Bezel has been corrected and oh yes it's also now 120 click with virtually no back play to speak of :)

Just got mine today and the bezel has been fixed to cover half of the 6 with blue. I have the jubilee bracelet and it's pretty sharp on the inside. All the way around the inside the edges are pretty sharp. I'll be putting it on a Bond NATO strap.
I think I'm going to wait for Pagani to release a version with a Jubilee bracelet and a ceramic Pepsi bezel. Or maybe that's wishful thinking... Thanks for letting them know about the QC issues though Jody, really helps the consumers without a large audience.
No it's not have better quality than Pagani. Parnises doesn't have any water resistant, the clasp on the bracelet is rubbish, and You get worse movement and no quality control whatsoever.
I have this watch for 2 years now, the bezel is also a little off : it's not perfectly aligned and the 'paint' job is not great but it's still working fine : I only use it when i go on vacation to the beach abroad : you can track your home and local time and you dont really care if it gets robbed/lost/forget/destroyed in the sand.... So your mind stay free! I even dove with it up to 20 meters.
Should have listened ! I purchased my “Batman” on the 11/11 sale-on opening and wearing my Xmas present on Xmas day and wearing it for 24 hours . I discovered that the GMT hand did not keep its slaving with the hour marker . On trying to open a dispute on Ali I was met with the message that I my 15 day window had expired ! I still have a nice watch ( but with no GMT function) but will be reconsidering my future purchases from this site. I have a San Martin 62mas bronze and pagani design “Daytona “ both of which I am very pleased with. Great channel , hope u had a good Xmas and have a prosperous new Year

One of the guys I follow on Instagram got his new Pagani diver wet when he got into a lukewarm hot tub. Literally dipped his wrist in the water, realised he had his watch on, took it off, dried it... and following day its misted inside. For the price of a night in the pub, they're good fun, but looks like the QC issues extend further than wonky bezels.
Maybe not an exspensive heirloom but a nice momento if looked after. Price is not everything when one departs and leaves things for ones progeny. The memory of beautiful things linger. Thanks for your great videos. Ive quite a few of your recommendations. Cheers.
My Batman came today, 41 days from China to USA. The face does not say Japan Mov't and the blue/black border acceptably bisects the 6 on the GMT dial. Fit and finish is excellent, as it was on my 1639. While the subby has consistently been 12 seconds fast per day, the Batman is slow, about 12 seconds/per day. After removing 4 links to fit, I decided to add one back. The screw I needed to remove turned but would not back out. So I Added a link to the other side. So the clasp now is not centered as well as it could be, but still comfortable. I will probably take it to my local watch guy and have him pull and replace the screw if and when it bothers me enough. Still pleased with my purchase.
I own the Parnis version. Looks great, and keeps remarkably good time. Some don't like the clasp. but I'm OK with it. Would like more resistance to the bezel, but doesn't have back play. Otherwise it's pretty perfect. The Pagani also looks brilliant.
Looking at this 11 months on and I can say the bezel issue has been resolved and the word explorer has been removed from the dial. Great value and looks great
I bought the Pagani Hulk after watching a few reviews.....every review was positive but everyone had a slight problem. Weak Lume, hardly any thread on the screw down crown or dodgy bezel action etc. Just have to say that mine doesn't suffer from ANY problems at all. Maybe I was lucky ?? Over all for the money paid, they punch way above their weight. Great review and take care.
As I ordered one with a Pepsi bezel a couple of weeks ago and am still waiting for it to arrive, that is very, very, very VERY annoying. One of the reasons I ordered it was because the description said it had a ceramic bezel. Not happy, Jan!!
To be fair, if it's anodized well for the colour it may look good for a long while & perfect for some people's taste. If you're going to stick it on a distressed leather strap like Jody, having an aluminium bezel is probably a better look for it & ultimately it's still a good looking, otherwise well specced automatic GMT for an incredible price.
Morning old chap, just a question if I may. I bought one of these, supported by your positive review, and found it to be an inexpensive water sports watch. Good to look at, felt good on the wrist and amused and spoofed some people. But, five months into ownership it has ceased to be! It is a dead watch, it is no more! Never overwound, never date changed at the witching hour. In short looked after well and used properly. Ali express and Pagani have given me a stiff ignoring and the only response was “you had 15 days from receipt to put in a complaint” If that’s the world wide guarantee before Brexit then “we’re all doomed” after it. So to summarise, nice watch but I got what I paid for. Let’s hope when we go in against the Chinese on the Spratlys later in 2021 their weapons systems are as reliable as their watches..... Annual update: After some considerable nagging of the company I was instructed to send the non functioning watch back to China (that was fun in itself). After about two months back comes a replacement and it’s been perfect ever since. I’ve used the watch to dive on my boat’s anchor in a massive 5 metres of water and it’s been perfectly waterproof. It’s had a summer of looking good and in the new world of King Boris (he of the numerous children) I won’t be wearing it to any Christmas parties to be admired and to raise my standing as a human being. - lol not.
Just received both a Batman and Pepsi Pagani today. The bezel insert on my Batman looks corrected - blue is halfway up the 6. Good to see they actually corrected this and weren't just paying you lip service.
I’m not really a watch guy per se (I wear a Casio Duro), and I admit I didn’t notice any QC issues until you pointed them out. They seem like good value in any event. In my cohort everybody wears an iWatch or Casio and to our eyes, the Pagani looks like a Rolex which I think is their gameplan.
Very accurate review. Also should be noted that Ali has taken a nose dive in reliability as a platform. Beware of fake tracking numbers in an attempt to make you think your purchase has shipped. It’s ok to take the risk as long as you pay with a reputable buyer advocacy payment service such as PayPal. Great channel 👍
I do like the look!! Have to say my collection does not have a GMT innit! Like the thought! However all my family and friends are in one town in one Country that doesn’t change its time zone!!!!!! I guess I can keep track of the time in Sydney Jody?!?;)
Another YT-reviewer pointed out a pretty glaring error with the date-window: It seems that PD are re-using the dial from a different watch (hence the "Japan MVMT" label at the 6oc and the "Explorer"-script at the 12) and haven't bothered adjusting the date-cutout to the movement in this GMT. When you set the date to 31, the "1" is barely visible and it'll look like it's the third of the month. Don't know if that's the case on your two examples, but the review I found yesterday clearly showed this problem with that reviewer's example.
These two are fine in that regard, no Japan Movt on the dial either, but I did hear about that snafu! They really need to sort out their QC before rushing products to market though. Cheers!

I got the new Rootbeer. The numbers on my bezel are pink, and it's misaligned. Pagani wanted me to pay to ship back the return/exchange. Ali only provided a $20 coupon! for my trouble and compensation. it costs $50 to send it to China with tracking from the US. Blah! Always nice job review Jody. Just providing my experience.
I think Pagani Design is one of the best bargain watches around! I would have no problem rocking out with one of these. I do have one on order, but it’s the Daytona version. Great review as always Jody!!! One thing I’d like to see is the wrist sizes the band will fit. It’s rather expensive buying new bands to fit my 8 1/2” wrist.
I've given up on ordering from Pagani or China for that matter.. I ordered a watch from them on March 27, 2020 based on Jodie's recommendations from AliExpress. Still waiting for it on June 15, 2020. This is because they pay like $1.00 shipping and at the rate, your package goes to the leftover bin. Meaning, they will move it forward whenever they have some room and will bounce around from Post Office to Post Office. So far, it has been thru five post offices since it entered the U.S.A. and it still hasn't made it to my state. I will wait until they start selling on Amazon or are actually shipping from within the U.S.A. Even if it's more, I don't care. Otherwise, great review as always. Thank you sir.
I ordered one of these on 15th June and it arrived today by Royal Mail. Sounds like you have been unlucky, lodge a dispute and I hope you get a refund.
Have talked a friend into buying a pagani gmt which has quit running. Not sure he really understands that being self winding doesn’t mean it won’t run out of energy if not worn. But if it does quit because of a malfunction is it worth fixing and we’re to take it.
I just received mine and I confirm they fixed the blue paint on the 6. However, other QC issues appear. Mine has the glass not correctly leveled with the bezel, and the cyclops is quite poor and doesn't show the date correctly (this, or the cyclops is not aligned properly with the date window). It's still a nice looking watch for $90, though.
All these parnis and pagani watches all have that movement where if you move your wrist too fast they rotor never stops spinning and you feeling like it’s an engine ready for take off
Great review, after you pointed out that Bezel mistake its all i can see, every other review of the Batman on youtube has the same issue with the colouring but no one else has mentioned it! hopefully just a batch issue that will be resolved by the time i finally get around to ordering one
I’ve just taken the plunge with one of these, the Batman colour way (my first Chinese special!) at £63 in the Ali sale which is crazy for an auto GMT! Will let you know if they’ve resolved the bezel on mine when it arrives....
Mine arrived today - 8 days from China to UK..! First impressions, pretty impressed overall. The bezel issue is resolved and no Japan MVMT etc on the dial. Finishing pretty good generally, looks much more expensive than it is. Minor niggles, the bezel doesn't quite line up and has a bit too much wiggle - and a very noisy rotor.
I was gonna say I noticed a small black mark on the 14 of your batman bezel and a bit of a gap in between the lug and bracelet on the 12 side, but yeah on a Rolex Batman the transition is between the 6 you are correct!
Just received mine....except, it I got the wrong watch. I ordered the "Batman" but received the black with green GMT dial. Almost a month waiting for it and had to pay almost half the price of the watch in income tax and handling fees (Denmark) so I'm quite disappointed. I've complained, of course so let's see what AliExpress and the dealer do. Nice enough watch for the price thou.

Another Adelaidean here. Most modern Seiko, Citizen and Casio digital world time watches now include the Adelaide timezone. But as far as mechanical watches go, we're stuffed unless the GMT hand is settable independent of the hour hand (like the Pagani and Parnis watches are).
Thank you for your great videos!!! Are you or is anybody else having the problem, that the GMT hand is just running as fast as the hour hand (or sometimes just a bit slower), so it makes two rounds per day instead of one? Nevertheless I love this watch. Keep up the great content you create 😊

If I remember correctly, on the real GMT Master, Rolex actually paints the entire ceramic bezel insert the lighter color (in the Batman instance, it’s blue) and then paints the black over it so that it lines up with the 6 and 18 perfectly and they don’t have to worry about color running over or streaks.
Ordered the loreo with the green dial and the cadisen 1032. They should be arriving in Indiana withen the next few weeks. Really hope they get here. I would like to order the 6105 with the green dial and the bronze case. Keep up the good work
Jody, I ordered a Pagani Design PD-1651 on May 1st based on Your review along with a couple others. I already have the "Hulk" version of the bigger PD-1639, and love the quality, just wanted the smaller model. Unfortunately I'm still waiting 6 weeks later for the watch to make its way to me here in Tennessee. Kind of worried I'll never see it.
They are clearly listening. Batman bought in May 2021 has colour bisecting the 6 and they have removed Explorer from the dial. 120 click unidirection bezel but still with a little play in it. 21600 vph movement not too accurate out of the box, but I doubt that I would wear this one long enough to notice.
I just received this very watch today (5/8/21) and Pagani does seem to have fixed the problem with the blue on the '6' on the bezel. The blue/black line lies perfectly halfway on the '6'.

I seen a Pagani sale for less than $45 on the Hulk and all black version of these. It's the 43mm version. I have one in my cart and also the Cadison Oak that is also going onsale. Two more watch is how I roll...great review. You are making me broke hehe

Just got one of these for a bit of a laugh/save my better watches from desk scuffs. Running at -1.5 secs a day! Not sure how long this will last, but so far not bad for the cost. Unfortunately got the same bezel though.

That's a hell of a lot of bang for the buck, considering the price. i paid about the same (around $80) for my Invicta Pro Diver, and it doesn't have the ceramic bezel, the sapphire crystal, the solid end links or the screws for the links. If the non-GMT version is similar, I would definitely consider that.
Thank you for all your great videos. You are the best resource in youtube for homage watches info. I want to get this Pagani GMT homage, but I am not a big fan of the cyclops glass. This are my questions: 1- Can you tell me what is the glass size, and are there reliable stores in Aliexpress to source a non cyclops sapphire glass that will fit this watch? 2- Can a competent watch repair shop do the glass replacement, and will it affect water proofness? It is easy to remove the cyclops. A little heat and a razor blade is all it takes. They are just glued on. I usually remove the movement before heating the cyclops. Brave souls do it with the movement in the case. I'm sure there is a video out there on how to do it.
Just got my NH34 version yesterday. 80 bucks on alix... and I am super disappointed. I sized it, wound it, set it, and put it on. 2 hours later, it's 10 minutes slow. I set it again, wound it 50 times, and put it on before bed.... this morning when I woke up, at 6 am, the watch said 1145pm and the date wheel was mid change. It's already in a box and going back. 😢.
Great review - Am 90% convinced it's my next purchase, just don't like the bracelet and 20mm options to get closer to the GMT Master II are hard to find. Otherwise it's a simple add to cart situation.
It reminded me of a soviet union era! When made in USSR cheap lenses could easily outperform Carl Zeiss or Schneider lenses in term of "soft" sharpness, rendering colours and out of focus areas. Thing is ... only one USSR lens out of 1000, somehow, was able to do it. You should've been very lucky person in order to get that one!
Hi Jody, was going to buy the Batman thought I’d check to see if it will be with the corrected bezel, Pagani sent a picture the bezel had been offset before the 12 so the 6 shows in between the crown so not to noticeable (a wee bit cheeky) No corrected bezel so it’ll be the Pepsi for me.

Shame about the sloppy bezel. Thinking of the explorer instead (PD1651), should have an NH35? The grey bezel and jubilee bracelet looks pretty good. Not sure if the no time to Bond watch is much bigger (PD1667)? I've got the PD Daytona and find that size good. Cheers

Hey Jody, Are you sure the Pepsi version has the ceramic bezel insert? It looks more like a metal insert to me. The batman version does look like ceramic however. What are your thoughts? Maybe the red inserts cannot be done in ceramic?
Greetings. This is the 2nd Pagani I purchased on AliExpress after watching you TH-cam review.As you stated, the quality control at this price point is limited. The first one, a PD-1651, has a small cavity on the metal bracelet which goes unnoticed because it is partially hidden by the bezel. The PD-1662, which I just received, has a crystal which is flush with the bezel only on half the dial. I will continue to watch your reviews but, in the future, I will limit my purchases to Jomashop or Amazon. Cheers.
Well I purchased mine over 30 days ago from their official AliExpress store (from your link) and still no sign of it or updates since it supposedly "arrived in the US." Looking forward to finally receiving it (if I ever do).
@@zayeemrahman8896 it actually just arrived this afternoon. I am pleasantly surprised with the looks and value of this thing. Are there some "niggles?" Yes, but the good seems to outweigh the bad. I cant believe they can offer this for well under $100 (at least it was during the sale).
Aliexpress tracking is apallingly inaccurate (at best!) I am sure you have it by now, but I have waited over 3 months to get stuff from the Ali website. It's stock 'tracking' info after a few days is 'handed over to airline' or implying that the item is on it's way by air, this is usually utter rubbish. It will still be in China!
Hey Jody, love your work. Sadly I received my Pagani GMT yesterday and have returned it because it was ceasing function intermittently despite being fully wound by crown and worn for more than 6 hours, then would require a shake or more winding to get moving. Less than an hour later it would stop again. I’ll receive a replacement soon hoping I won’t have a problem again. Should I have given the watch more time to work out it’s issue? A response would be so appreciated!
What would be the incoming inspection to make sure that we actually got " a good one" in you opinion ? Is there a quick test or something to immediately tell if the watch is a keeper or not ? Thanks.

For 90 bucks I would totally rock one. Never have to worry about it getting banged around and it looks nice.

I’ve been having the “batgirl” now for 2yrs and let me tell you still love it. I get tons of compliments and for the money you can’t beat it.

Just got mine today and the bezel has been fixed to cover half of the 6 with blue. I have the jubilee bracelet and it's pretty sharp on the inside. All the way around the inside the edges are pretty sharp. I'll be putting it on a Bond NATO strap.
I think I'm going to wait for Pagani to release a version with a Jubilee bracelet and a ceramic Pepsi bezel. Or maybe that's wishful thinking... Thanks for letting them know about the QC issues though Jody, really helps the consumers without a large audience.
Get a Parnis. They have the jubilee and it's better quality than PD
No it's not have better quality than Pagani. Parnises doesn't have any water resistant, the clasp on the bracelet is rubbish, and You get worse movement and no quality control whatsoever.

I have two Parnis watches and 2 PD. And I am very disappointed with the PD, while the Parnis watches are much much better.
I have this watch for 2 years now, the bezel is also a little off : it's not perfectly aligned and the 'paint' job is not great but it's still working fine : I only use it when i go on vacation to the beach abroad : you can track your home and local time and you dont really care if it gets robbed/lost/forget/destroyed in the sand.... So your mind stay free! I even dove with it up to 20 meters.

I purchased my “Batman” on the 11/11 sale-on opening and wearing my Xmas present on Xmas day and wearing it for 24 hours . I discovered that the GMT hand did not keep its slaving with the hour marker . On trying to open a dispute on Ali I was met with the message that I my 15 day window had expired !
I still have a nice watch ( but with no GMT function) but will be reconsidering my future purchases from this site. I have a San Martin 62mas bronze and pagani design “Daytona “ both of which I am very pleased with.

One of the guys I follow on Instagram got his new Pagani diver wet when he got into a lukewarm hot tub. Literally dipped his wrist in the water, realised he had his watch on, took it off, dried it... and following day its misted inside.
For the price of a night in the pub, they're good fun, but looks like the QC issues extend further than wonky bezels.

My Batman came today, 41 days from China to USA. The face does not say Japan Mov't and the blue/black border acceptably bisects the 6 on the GMT dial. Fit and finish is excellent, as it was on my 1639. While the subby has consistently been 12 seconds fast per day, the Batman is slow, about 12 seconds/per day. After removing 4 links to fit, I decided to add one back. The screw I needed to remove turned but would not back out. So I Added a link to the other side. So the clasp now is not centered as well as it could be, but still comfortable. I will probably take it to my local watch guy and have him pull and replace the screw if and when it bothers me enough. Still pleased with my purchase.
I own the Parnis version. Looks great, and keeps remarkably good time. Some don't like the clasp. but I'm OK with it. Would like more resistance to the bezel, but doesn't have back play. Otherwise it's pretty perfect. The Pagani also looks brilliant.
Just bought it and love it on the jubilee. Got the red bezel as I do not want a Batman or Pepsi. They have improved the quality

Looking at this 11 months on and I can say the bezel issue has been resolved and the word explorer has been removed from the dial. Great value and looks great
I bought the Pagani Hulk after watching a few reviews.....every review was positive but everyone had a slight problem. Weak Lume, hardly any thread on the screw down crown or dodgy bezel action etc. Just have to say that mine doesn't suffer from ANY problems at all. Maybe I was lucky ?? Over all for the money paid, they punch way above their weight. Great review and take care.

As I ordered one with a Pepsi bezel a couple of weeks ago and am still waiting for it to arrive, that is very, very, very VERY annoying. One of the reasons I ordered it was because the description said it had a ceramic bezel. Not happy, Jan!!
To be fair, if it's anodized well for the colour it may look good for a long while & perfect for some people's taste. If you're going to stick it on a distressed leather strap like Jody, having an aluminium bezel is probably a better look for it & ultimately it's still a good looking, otherwise well specced automatic GMT for an incredible price.
Morning old chap, just a question if I may.
I bought one of these, supported by your positive review, and found it to be an inexpensive water sports watch. Good to look at, felt good on the wrist and amused and spoofed some people.
But, five months into ownership it has ceased to be! It is a dead watch, it is no more!
Never overwound, never date changed at the witching hour. In short looked after well and used properly. Ali express and Pagani have given me a stiff ignoring and the only response was “you had 15 days from receipt to put in a complaint”
If that’s the world wide guarantee before Brexit then “we’re all doomed” after it.
So to summarise, nice watch but I got what I paid for. Let’s hope when we go in against the Chinese on the Spratlys later in 2021 their weapons systems are as reliable as their watches.....

Annual update:
After some considerable nagging of the company I was instructed to send the non functioning watch back to China (that was fun in itself). After about two months back comes a replacement and it’s been perfect ever since.
I’ve used the watch to dive on my boat’s anchor in a massive 5 metres of water and it’s been perfectly waterproof. It’s had a summer of looking good and in the new world of King Boris (he of the numerous children) I won’t be wearing it to any Christmas parties to be admired and to raise my standing as a human being. - lol not.
The watch looks great. The GMT is supposed to jump half an hour and align with the rotating bezel markings.
Just received both a Batman and Pepsi Pagani today. The bezel insert on my Batman looks corrected - blue is halfway up the 6. Good to see they actually corrected this and weren't just paying you lip service.
I’m not really a watch guy per se (I wear a Casio Duro), and I admit I didn’t notice any QC issues until you pointed them out. They seem like good value in any event. In my cohort everybody wears an iWatch or Casio and to our eyes, the Pagani looks like a Rolex which I think is their gameplan.
Very accurate review. Also should be noted that Ali has taken a nose dive in reliability as a platform. Beware of fake tracking numbers in an attempt to make you think your purchase has shipped. It’s ok to take the risk as long as you pay with a reputable buyer advocacy payment service such as PayPal. Great channel 👍

Another YT-reviewer pointed out a pretty glaring error with the date-window: It seems that PD are re-using the dial from a different watch (hence the "Japan MVMT" label at the 6oc and the "Explorer"-script at the 12) and haven't bothered adjusting the date-cutout to the movement in this GMT. When you set the date to 31, the "1" is barely visible and it'll look like it's the third of the month. Don't know if that's the case on your two examples, but the review I found yesterday clearly showed this problem with that reviewer's example.
These two are fine in that regard, no Japan Movt on the dial either, but I did hear about that snafu! They really need to sort out their QC before rushing products to market though. Cheers!
Newer versions of this watch from AliExpress have addressed some of these issues. The 31 in the date window is properly centered in mine. The color transition is now in the proper place on the 6 in the bezel. The "Japanese MVMT" label has been removed. Only thing left is the "EXPLORER" label.

I got the new Rootbeer. The numbers on my bezel are pink, and it's misaligned. Pagani wanted me to pay to ship back the return/exchange. Ali only provided a $20 coupon! for my trouble and compensation. it costs $50 to send it to China with tracking from the US. Blah! Always nice job review Jody. Just providing my experience.
I think Pagani Design is one of the best bargain watches around! I would have no problem rocking out with one of these. I do have one on order, but it’s the Daytona version. Great review as always Jody!!! One thing I’d like to see is the wrist sizes the band will fit. It’s rather expensive buying new bands to fit my 8 1/2” wrist.

I've given up on ordering from Pagani or China for that matter.. I ordered a watch from them on March 27, 2020 based on Jodie's recommendations from AliExpress. Still waiting for it on June 15, 2020. This is because they pay like $1.00 shipping and at the rate, your package goes to the leftover bin. Meaning, they will move it forward whenever they have some room and will bounce around from Post Office to Post Office. So far, it has been thru five post offices since it entered the U.S.A. and it still hasn't made it to my state. I will wait until they start selling on Amazon or are actually shipping from within the U.S.A. Even if it's more, I don't care. Otherwise, great review as always. Thank you sir.

I ordered one of these on 15th June and it arrived today by Royal Mail. Sounds like you have been unlucky, lodge a dispute and I hope you get a refund.
Have talked a friend into buying a pagani gmt which has quit running. Not sure he really understands that being self winding doesn’t mean it won’t run out of energy if not worn. But if it does quit because of a malfunction is it worth fixing and we’re to take it.

I just received mine and I confirm they fixed the blue paint on the 6. However, other QC issues appear. Mine has the glass not correctly leveled with the bezel, and the cyclops is quite poor and doesn't show the date correctly (this, or the cyclops is not aligned properly with the date window). It's still a nice looking watch for $90, though.

Great review, after you pointed out that Bezel mistake its all i can see, every other review of the Batman on youtube has the same issue with the colouring but no one else has mentioned it! hopefully just a batch issue that will be resolved by the time i finally get around to ordering one
I’ve just taken the plunge with one of these, the Batman colour way (my first Chinese special!) at £63 in the Ali sale which is crazy for an auto GMT! Will let you know if they’ve resolved the bezel on mine when it arrives....
Mine arrived today - 8 days from China to UK..! First impressions, pretty impressed overall. The bezel issue is resolved and no Japan MVMT etc on the dial. Finishing pretty good generally, looks much more expensive than it is. Minor niggles, the bezel doesn't quite line up and has a bit too much wiggle - and a very noisy rotor.
I was gonna say I noticed a small black mark on the 14 of your batman bezel and a bit of a gap in between the lug and bracelet on the 12 side, but yeah on a Rolex Batman the transition is between the 6 you are correct!
Just received mine....except, it I got the wrong watch. I ordered the "Batman" but received the black with green GMT dial. Almost a month waiting for it and had to pay almost half the price of the watch in income tax and handling fees (Denmark) so I'm quite disappointed. I've complained, of course so let's see what AliExpress and the dealer do. Nice enough watch for the price thou.

Another Adelaidean here. Most modern Seiko, Citizen and Casio digital world time watches now include the Adelaide timezone. But as far as mechanical watches go, we're stuffed unless the GMT hand is settable independent of the hour hand (like the Pagani and Parnis watches are).

Yea, 明珠（mingzhu）is pearl in Chinese. They are a level below seagull movement but still workable.

If I remember correctly, on the real GMT Master, Rolex actually paints the entire ceramic bezel insert the lighter color (in the Batman instance, it’s blue) and then paints the black over it so that it lines up with the 6 and 18 perfectly and they don’t have to worry about color running over or streaks.
I just got mine, and it’s got a pretty neat misprint. The gmt hand on my batman ended up being red.
Ordered the loreo with the green dial and the cadisen 1032. They should be arriving in Indiana withen the next few weeks. Really hope they get here. I would like to order the 6105 with the green dial and the bronze case. Keep up the good work

Jody, I ordered a Pagani Design PD-1651 on May 1st based on Your review along with a couple others. I already have the "Hulk" version of the bigger PD-1639, and love the quality, just wanted the smaller model. Unfortunately I'm still waiting 6 weeks later for the watch to make its way to me here in Tennessee. Kind of worried I'll never see it.
They are clearly listening. Batman bought in May 2021 has colour bisecting the 6 and they have removed Explorer from the dial. 120 click unidirection bezel but still with a little play in it. 21600 vph movement not too accurate out of the box, but I doubt that I would wear this one long enough to notice.
I just received this very watch today (5/8/21) and Pagani does seem to have fixed the problem with the blue on the '6' on the bezel. The blue/black line lies perfectly halfway on the '6'.

I seen a Pagani sale for less than $45 on the Hulk and all black version of these. It's the 43mm version. I have one in my cart and also the Cadison Oak that is also going onsale. Two more watch is how I roll...great review. You are making me broke hehe

Just got one of these for a bit of a laugh/save my better watches from desk scuffs. Running at -1.5 secs a day! Not sure how long this will last, but so far not bad for the cost. Unfortunately got the same bezel though.

That's a hell of a lot of bang for the buck, considering the price. i paid about the same (around $80) for my Invicta Pro Diver, and it doesn't have the ceramic bezel, the sapphire crystal, the solid end links or the screws for the links. If the non-GMT version is similar, I would definitely consider that.
it is! they recently came out with a 40mm version. My pro driver died after 8yrs(!) so I think I'll go for the batman this time

1- Can you tell me what is the glass size, and are there reliable stores in Aliexpress to source a non cyclops sapphire glass that will fit this watch?
2- Can a competent watch repair shop do the glass replacement, and will it affect water proofness?

It is easy to remove the cyclops. A little heat and a razor blade is all it takes. They are just glued on. I usually remove the movement before heating the cyclops. Brave souls do it with the movement in the case. I'm sure there is a video out there on how to do it.

Just got my NH34 version yesterday. 80 bucks on alix... and I am super disappointed. I sized it, wound it, set it, and put it on. 2 hours later, it's 10 minutes slow. I set it again, wound it 50 times, and put it on before bed.... this morning when I woke up, at 6 am, the watch said 1145pm and the date wheel was mid change. It's already in a box and going back. 😢.
I fell asleep wearing my Pepsi 2 days in a row. Nuff said. Added it to my Helm rotation. Hardly wear the Sub anymore.
Great review - Am 90% convinced it's my next purchase, just don't like the bracelet and 20mm options to get closer to the GMT Master II are hard to find. Otherwise it's a simple add to cart situation.

It reminded me of a soviet union era! When made in USSR cheap lenses could easily outperform Carl Zeiss or Schneider lenses in term of "soft" sharpness, rendering colours and out of focus areas. Thing is ... only one USSR lens out of 1000, somehow, was able to do it. You should've been very lucky person in order to get that one!
Hi Jody, was going to buy the Batman thought I’d check to see if it will be with the corrected bezel, Pagani sent a picture the bezel had been offset before the 12 so the 6 shows in between the crown so not to noticeable (a wee bit cheeky) No corrected bezel so it’ll be the Pepsi for me.
The Pepsi doesn’t have a ceramic bezel look at the details in the AliExpress listing

Shame about the sloppy bezel. Thinking of the explorer instead (PD1651), should have an NH35? The grey bezel and jubilee bracelet looks pretty good. Not sure if the no time to Bond watch is much bigger (PD1667)? I've got the PD Daytona and find that size good. Cheers

Remove the bezel remove the spring and install an oring on the bezel so it is a friction Bi direction bezel.

Greetings. This is the 2nd Pagani I purchased on AliExpress after watching you TH-cam review.As you stated, the quality control at this price point is limited. The first one, a PD-1651, has a small cavity on the metal bracelet which goes unnoticed because it is partially hidden by the bezel. The PD-1662, which I just received, has a crystal which is flush with the bezel only on half the dial. I will continue to watch your reviews but, in the future, I will limit my purchases to Jomashop or Amazon. Cheers.

@@zayeemrahman8896 it actually just arrived this afternoon. I am pleasantly surprised with the looks and value of this thing. Are there some "niggles?" Yes, but the good seems to outweigh the bad. I cant believe they can offer this for well under $100 (at least it was during the sale).
Aliexpress tracking is apallingly inaccurate (at best!) I am sure you have it by now, but I have waited over 3 months to get stuff from the Ali website. It's stock 'tracking' info after a few days is 'handed over to airline' or implying that the item is on it's way by air, this is usually utter rubbish. It will still be in China!
Hey Jody, love your work. Sadly I received my Pagani GMT yesterday and have returned it because it was ceasing function intermittently despite being fully wound by crown and worn for more than 6 hours, then would require a shake or more winding to get moving. Less than an hour later it would stop again. I’ll receive a replacement soon hoping I won’t have a problem again. Should I have given the watch more time to work out it’s issue? A response would be so appreciated!
What would be the incoming inspection to make sure that we actually got " a good one" in you opinion ? Is there a quick test or something to immediately tell if the watch is a keeper or not ? Thanks.
