Currently reading Watership Down and I can say it's one of my favorite books. So surprised that it was based on real life location and how beautiful it is. Thank you for showing the places, I hope I can visit there someday

I loved this. I was walking this exact walk, between White Hill and Ladle Hill (and down to the A34) this weekend. I really love the Wayfarer's Walk, and I am walking it for the second time (third and fourth time if you count the fact I walk it in both directions, to and from my car). This is a splendid stretch. I wish I had spotted the tree with the names carved in, but when I walk it for the fifth and sixth time, I shall : -) Thank you so much for making such a great video. I also think I will read Watership Down : -)

Delighted you enjoyed the walk and our video! Missing the tree with the names just gives you a good excuse to head out a few more times. "Watership Down" is definitely a must-read for any fan of the area. Happy walking!

Not famous just for racing. The 1982 World and European Field Archery Championships were held there and it is used regularly for the British Field Archery Championships. The Warren is one of the worlds greatest field archery courses.
