@@danielaeliza thanks for sharing. From what I can see in your photo we have super different hair types! So perhaps this product works best on naturally straighter hair?
I just put some on my clean, but damp hair, and i refuse to put this on dry hair. I cannot stand for my hair to be dry without any product in it. It is a sensory problem thing. So here's hoping it still goes well
I am putting it on pretty wet clean hair as there is no way I am doing it on a dry one, as it will extend the wash day forever, and it works pretty good, I apply it as a mask, or deep conditioning treatment, gives shine and silkiness. I also pair it either with Chi oil or Biosilk one.
@@Sophie_theesthetician you will not waste it. The guy above is correct - it is a marketing trick and Brad Mondo is not the only one using it, there are many hair products, especially expensive treatment masks, like Olaplex, which push you to apply it on a dry hair. Yes, it is a bit diluted by water in the hair, but if you brush it through, put a plastic cap, apply some heat and keep longer, the results might be even better than on dry hair. If you do not want to waste, do a small part on wet strand and see what happens
@@orangefox5121 hmm I hear what you’re saying. I don’t think it’s a marketing trick, I just think dry hair is ideal because the hair is most absorbent when dry. I could imagine how a mask could give better results on wet hair, as it helps trap in water, but this product is specifically not a moisture mask. Perhaps I will try it around my hairline while wet since those are my problem areas, and see how that goes! Thanks!
@@Sophie_theesthetician it is a marketing trick, there is no difference in absorbency, if anything, wet hair is MORE absorbent, than dry. But you can use your product whichever you like
Thank God, thought I was the only one. The first time is great but after washing it it makes my hair almost hard to comb. In certain parts it even looked like dirty hair. I tried 2 times, then decided its a big NO for me. Better use argan oil or the olaplex oil. Not worth it.
I used to always get my hair glossed in the salon since young in the 80s. I believe it was Redken. I might get this for my daughter. Then again now that I’m thinking. I do get really good results with certain herbs on my hair. They coat the hair and smooth and shine. They smell like gerbil food though.
So I won`t do the Xmondo ! I am struggling to choose between Moroccanoil mask color treatment or Kristin ess gloss temporary hair color. You know one of them please ? Thanks !
The Moroccan Hair Mask is great for curly hair. I’ve never used the Kristin Gloss Hair Color but I feel like those are two different things. Why not try both?
I’m sooooo glad I saw this before I purchased… and I was really close! I was looking for an amazing glaze. But I have medium density waist-length, so I’m thinking I’d get like one or two applications 😂 Have you used any other glosses?
@@Sophie_theesthetician I know right? I’ve never done one at home. I would judge it by how much better my hair looks! I never had one dimensional lackluster hair, but aging sucks in that regard too! I’m having it done at the salon where I got my highlights. Can’t wait for you to see it! AND the results! 😀🎉🧘🏼♀️
It looked so good that first day! I just looked into this product last week! Perfectly timed video. I have A LOT of hair and a toddler, so I was concerned washing-drying-gloss-washing-drying was going to be too much effort for the payoff. If you only got 3-6 washes, then I think I might skip it. I heard other people talk about Color Wow. Have you tried that?
I used this product today and my hair looked SO GREASY and heavy! I quickly washed it again but I didn’t have a lot of time because I was already gonna be late for work and it still felt awful. Maybe I used too much? Idk I’ve used alot of glosses and never had this happen, I literally cannot wait to go home and wash it again
@@laurac86 that’s surprising to me!! But everyone’s hair is different. Mine is relatively coarse and in this video I had some lightened pieces as well.
@@Sophie_theesthetician - I’m definitely going to try it again and use less and maybe apply it to damp hair instead! I will say after I washed it and took some of the excess out my hair is super shiny and soft and looks great!!
Oops! My answer: For the amount of hair I have vs. the amount of washes it takes to wash the gloss out, I don’t think it’s worth it. Also, I’d be using 3/4 of the container for one application if I were to saturate. If it DID last 10 washes, that’d be a different story! However, when you said you use sulfate-free shampoo and like me you wash very infrequently yet it was STILL washing out so fast… No thanks. I’ll go to the salon! Thanks Sophie!
It’s semi permanent! In reality you need to on a plastic wrap or cap and be under a heat to seal it in. Must be put on clean damp hair. Shampoo can’t have any oils I would recommend shampooing it once with clarifying shampoo.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FRIENDS/VIEWERS. I used the clear on 11-1-2024 it did not make my natural colored hair shine at all. Not a glimmer. I am glad Sally will return my money.

honestly, not really. I tried it and it didnt do anything major in my opinion

@@Sophie_theesthetician my hair is almost straight (very long waves) and didn’t work. It felt hard to comb after a few washes.

Wondering why you left it on 35/40 mins versus the 20 mins listed in the directions?
It can’t hurt to leave it on for extra time and my thought was it could potentially ensure maximum benefit.
