    I tried to use the eco friendly laundry soap too but I went back to Tide because it's the best at everything. I am so particular about my kitchen as well. I NEVER put stuff on the front of my fridge not even magnets. I can't stand clutter in the kitchen. I actually enjoy having empty cupboards and drawers. Your kitchen is beautiful! 🌿💚

    I completely understand you. Since having my own place I have been decluttering like crazy. I also hate having too much stuff on my counters.

    for the bar stools if you still want fabric I would recommend microfiber, micro suede, faux suede and denim. My aunt has 3 cats and all her furniture that have fabric has either those. Otherwise if you’re good with no fabric then suggest wood

    It looks really neat without stuff on the kitchen sink. I think the kitchen is very well organized. I'm going to learn how to organize things. ^^

    Really beautiful kitchen. My doesn't have a lot of storage and is hard to store even a bare essentials in it. But I am still grateful for the fact I have my own kitchen! 😁 Love the shades of baby blue with grey. And of course loved this video like every single one you make! Have a great week too❤️

    • @thesimplechiclife
      @thesimplechiclife  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, that's the thing! Hardly any storage to begin with -I had to really declutter just to move in here, but it seems I'm happier with less and less all the time. thank you so much for your kind words! :) And thanks for your compliments on the color scheme - not everyone appreciates the simplicity lol :)

    I love your minimalistic house ! It is so non-fussy and easily manageable; I should show my maximalistic parents! For some reason, the older generation just thinks consumption is successful and if you have less stuff, that means you are poor and broke and they respond by giving you lots of gifts

    • @thesimplechiclife
      @thesimplechiclife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Totally agree! I’d love if you shared it with them!:)

    Love the tour! Thanks! On the bar stools, I'd go with metal ones and then put a grey cushion on each (like the kind that ties to the back or a rubberized bottom). I too have had cats, and although I loved them to pieces, they shredded my house - even on wood chairs they will scratch around the edges. Metal is kind of your only cat-proof choice that I can see.

    If you get new chairs, keep the old one so your kitty can use it as a scratching post because they need to keep their claws groomed. I threw my old chair out and she misses it and her claws have gotten so long and she won't use a scatch post.

    I couldn’t do it. I love every one of my kitchen items overflowing from my cupboards and stuck around the house. Even though I’ve never actually made ravioli with my ravioli cutter or shaved truffles with my truffle shaver, and even though I really don’t know for sure what that thing was I got from my grandma but think it’s for squeezing citrus, I never know if I’ll want to truffle ravioli with a lemon sauce.

      Hi it's me again. I was just thinking to save you money, I was also thinking you could buy chair covers (like you see in dining room chairs ) or nice pillow cases to put over the back of your stools , which would you could wash and still have the comfort. Just an idea to save money. Those stools really look nice and comfy.

    Hi i’m from malaysia just wondering after washing your dishes (you said mostly yours are hand washed), where would you put the wet dishes before arranging in your cupboards? Like from most households in my country, there will be a dish rack, on the counter next to the sink, we will leave it dry before keeping it. N usually the rack will be occupied most the time with dishes that are used on daily basis so some wont even get to go in the cupboard 😅

    • @thesimplechiclife
      @thesimplechiclife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just let them stand in the adjacent sink or on a towel - or I hand dry them and then put them away :)

      @@thaurbanhomemaker I agree totally. I like "clean" pets if any at all. And really, one cat wouldn't be bad but I'm learning that even cats are not that tidy. It's been a struggle sometimes.

    • @SayuriYaki
      @SayuriYaki 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I understand the wish for a clean nice house and it‘s cool if you aren‘t into pets. ^^ But "get rid of the cats" isn‘t a nice advice. If you own pets you are responsible for their well-being, you cannot simply get rid of them like an old thing. There are already too many pets in shelters etc.
