Ambassador Hotel Bangkok is also the hotel I stayed in when I came to Bangkok for the first time back in 2003 with my parents, it was a lot different back then, hotel buildings were same as now, but the surroundings were different. I live in Bearing, I love and enjoy the local community, and Samut Prakan, Bang Na, SriNakarin Road, even Sukhumvit Road are very near, so I have access to all these areas and more. To be honest I like local areas more than tourist areas, it’s nice to visit the tourist areas every now and then but to live I prefer local areas, I absolutely love the culture and the traditions of the local people, so yeah.
That was the first hotel I stayed in Bangkok also, but in 2001. It has changed a lot since then. I will see for myself next month if my curiosity brings me back to that area, but definitely bound for Thailand in a few weeks. Thanks for the flashback.
Please do not go too far we'll miss you ArSen. 😢😢 Sukumvit and ArSen are inseparable🤨🤔 Hope you got a house with backyard. It's much better then a tiny miny studio space. Anyway Good luck ArSen 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🙏🙏🍺🍺🍺
Hopefully a better move for you Arsen with more peace and quiet. I will travel again to be with my Thai Fiance in October and stay in both her Bangkok Condo (far from Sukhumvit) and her home in the Thailand province. I don't care for lots of traffic and crowds but only venture around Siam shopping malls for getting certain things and eating in fancier restaurants. Enjoy your move!
When i came last time i stayed in sukhumvit soi 29. Its very good area to stay. As i live in Mumbai I am used to the crowd Mumbai is the most crowded place
Good video arsen , I have stayed at the zenith hotel near nana for 5 weeks many years ago , I also stayed at the Novotel about 5 stops on the sky train the other way , I can’t remember the station name , it was 15 years ago , last year I stayed at the baiyoke sky tower for a couple of nights on floor 67 , very impressive views , I like Bangkok but it’s like London , way to busy for me to want to live , just my opinion arsen , keep up the great vlogs my friend 🙏
Good morning Arsen...watched another great vlog from you...Yes I know what you are talking about Shukhumvit 11...and all the other areas. I saw that you are moving from where you are now to a new area. It would be very interesting to see where you go. Have a nice day and take care always

I'm a big fan of Sathorn. I was talking to someone today about Fortune Town and how it has replaced Pantip Plaza. Great that you have moved into a house - totally different experience - especially if you have pets.
@@geowilson1587 to my knowledge pantip had closed or was greatly reduced in size. Fortune Town is pretty good for computers and accessories and also has LPs, Cameras and musical instruments.
Thank you Arsen. Because of your vlog, i visited Fortune Town in June. I was able to get a second hand touch HP Laptop and a used Samsung S21 phone. They are all in good working condition. Keep it up 👍. Greetings from Uganda in East Africa. My first hotel was Ten Stars Inn Soi 17 Petchaburi in 2013. It is where i stay every time i visit Thailand. I tried to change once and i was dis-satisfied.
You might get it for shorter than a year, once you decide your dates, you can contact me on I Instagram and I can provide you with the information you need

Is it so serious with your girlfriend that you bought a house for 100.000$? Who is the owner in the contracts? I thought foreigners can not buy houses, condos only? Could become an expensive divorce if your gilfriend is the owner of the land.

I stayed at Ambassador Hotel on Sois 11 in 2019. They started the renovations then. It was $50/night then. Easily walkable to many places.
That was the first hotel I stayed in Bangkok also, but in 2001. It has changed a lot since then. I will see for myself next month if my curiosity brings me back to that area, but definitely bound for Thailand in a few weeks. Thanks for the flashback.
