I’m 2016, pub street was lined with nonstop tuktuk bars. The sounds of packed clubs and bars AND then the chaos of these bars outside on both sides of the road. It was madness. I miss it!

Pub Street is the street with the hanging lanterns/ lights. It’s changed so much since I first arrived in 2016.
I hear new wave music from the 80s coming from the mobile bar stand. The band is BAD BOY BLUE. Have fun n stay safe. Peace.
See that's the kind of thing that causes TH-camrs to be afraid to post any video clip with any background music... I posted a video with some song on the radio playing in the background for seconds and TH-cam knew its name. Most of the time for that they don't remove videos but still, they got TH-camrs scared.
Yes I wanted to go to it, but TH-cam hates the music :/
@@Travelwithchris They're so weird. After filming entire rock concerts, they muted my video of the drive home after the concert because of a song on the radio in a few second long clip of driving. Hours of the concerts were fine though.

I would wear a T-shirt walking around town: "No Tuk Tuk Today" or "No Money, No Honey". I had a chance to visit this magical place with my family as a boy back in mid 60s before the civil war erupted. Most of them did not survive the genocide there by Pol Pot killing machine. Only memory lives on!

I lived in Siam Reap for 2 years 2005 - 2007. It was absolutely amazing!!! So cheap you had to laugh, but now I don't recognise SR at all, so I will have to work a little harder to get more $$$ if I rtn to SR.

@@WetFart996I’ve not been to Cambodia yet, I will be there in January pal…I’ve been to Thailand twice and one of my fears was how clean the country would be, as a whole. It had a few dirty areas, like every city the world over but overall it was very clean, the restaurants were pretty immaculate and hygiene was to a high level. I’m hoping Vietnam and Cambodia are like this when I visit. I arrive in Ho Chi Minh 28th December…move onto siem reap and Phnom Penh….
