Thank you for sharing. I am a local with stomach cancer. Jackson's is exactly the kind of place I dream about when I can't eat, which is most days. When I can eat, I can eat only 3 or 4 ounces so I want it to be very high quality for the money. Jackson's menu appears to have been written specifically for me. Places like Jackson's, Bob Taylor's Steak House, and Ellis Island are just what I am looking for; high quality food, reasonable (not cheap) prices, available 24/7 because I often can eat only in the middle of the night but not during the day, usually one meal per day. Thank you so much. You have done a great service for a cancer sufferer.

Triple B's in Rainbow Club downtown Henderson has a killer prime rib deal on Saturday evenings. $18.99 for a 4 course meal: large gulf shrimp, soup or salad, 12oz choice prime rib, and brownie dessert. They also have an $19.99 ribeye steak & gulf shrimp meal available daily! A bit of a drive, but worth it!

Jackson's is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. I have never had a bad experience, the people and super friendly and helpful and the food is really good. I'm a local and frequent Jackson's quite a bit!

Jackson's menu has changed a bit since this video was shot. The NY strip steak is gone, replaced by a grilled salmon dinner ( which, BTW, is pretty awesome!) And the pork chop is gone too. But the ribeye steak dinner and the steak and eggs breakfast are still on the menu, and those are the reasons why you're eating at Jackson's, isn't it? 😋
Yup! Stopped by yesterday (Sunday 4/30)... had the wings and the ribeye w/ baked potato... also hit 2 5-spots on Keno. I didn't even look at other items on the menu haha. That's for the update!

I believe at the Coronado Cafe at the South Point Resort you have the offering of a 10oz boneless (slow roasted) prime rib with and baked potato on from 11am-11pm for $17.95 or $1.795/oz. But if you want more meat, yes, go for the 16 oz rib eye for $20.00. Or $1.25/oz) comes with baked potato. Call ahead to see if the baked potato is available at the time you’re visiting!
Cool! But when I'm at South Point, I can't resist eating at Primarily Prime Rib... Best baked potato I've ever had. (Video in my playlist)

Thanks for letting us know about this place. I usually stay on the strip of downtown for a few days and then rent a car for 2-3 days and venture outside of Las Vegas to try places like this! My friend lives in Kingman, AZ and this year I'm driving to Phoenix, AZ. I'll be trying place on the Tuesday night before I fly back to Chicago on Wednesday.

Before Covid there were many one-pound steak specials for around $10, sometimes with coupons in addition to that.
Rio had a 16oz T-Bone for $2.99 during the 90's (11pm to 6am)

I remember while in my pre-teen years, all the casinos had their breakfast at $.99, lunch at $1.99 and dinner at $2.99 for all you can eat. And boy, did I eat and eat and eat. As the years went by, it became $2.99 for breakfast, etc...and then in the early 2000's one of the mgm owned buffet had for dinner at $35.00. I haven't been back since 2013-14ish????, can't imagine the current prices now in 2023. And they only had maybe 8 casinos on the strip and a few some distance away.

LV changed, unfortunately. Been going since the 80s. Hotels all had free parking and no resort fees along with bring you in with big meals on the cheap. Now they work to take every possible dollar

Very good sounding deal. A sixteen ounce ribeye in my grocery store is about the same price. If that comes in a good restaurant, keep going there.
Prices keep going up, and portions keep getting smaller.
Some good looking meals there, great menu. Also noticed a 10oz pork chop & eggs for $15, bet that's good too. Gotta say there are some really good restaurants on Flamingo just west of the Strip. If you like Italian, try Nora's nearby. Or if you crave really good Indian cuisine, Marigold's is also on the same street.

My suggestion, try Lake lounge, They have 8oz NY steak and eggs plus hash browns for 9.99, add 1 dollar get the pancake, the pancake is awesome.

The prices on the menu don't blow my doors off. They seem a bit high except for the steak. Still, nice to know someplace I can go if I want some decent food and am willing to pay for it.
Prices are out of hand, and they still seem to be climbing. There was a time I was doing high-end steakhouses all the time, but it gets expensive. Not all of my videos are sponsored... a lot of times they don't even know I'm filming. It's just a hobby for me, since I work full-time.

30 yss ago it was even better, and the Horseshoe had the best seafood buffet too

Tony Romas prime rib is worth it, I never eat the mixed veggies tho. Get in line 15 minutes early or you’re eating after about a half hour.
It was much better about 10 years ago, tender and juicy. I like the fish and chips there now.
