I think choosing to spectate Pelican in particular is really smart since he‘s a player that doesn‘t excel in insane tracking or aiming (like Kabaji for example) but rather plans his future actions and positioning very carefully. That means watching and learning from his strats benefits players in every elo.

Great video. I'm a gold Tracer main and I never thought of playing on defence like this! I always just played it like it was attack and diving the backline. This makes me so much more versatile.

I just recently got into ow mainly bc of a friend and I picked up tracer bc the way she sounds so confident and fast and I mainly love to go into pressure on the enemies and also love character who can use time to their advantage and found her fun and easy to play really I wanna get better at tracer honestly
Love the guides, barely played ow1 but I'm kinda interested again thanks to not only the ow2 release but also your content. Learning more always makes games more fun for me, and you teach well for Gundam and overwatch. Keep it up!

Tracer is my favourite hero so far, as a console player who's fairly new I was only having success with Bastion for a while but the movement of Tracer is goated and I feel like a console player can do well with Tracer even though she's quite fast paced.

this video was amazing. i was struggling a lot and was stuck in my rank. but after this viedo i played comp with an open mind and a different playstyle and double ranked up.

I feel if she had 50 ammo, it would be better

you can get get lucios to beat early if you bluff like you’re gonna ult. doesn’t always work but you’d be shocked
I am a genji main and got a bit bored of genji and am trying to learn other characters and tracer popped up still trying to learn her and as well losing a lot of games😅 but still won't let me give up on trying to practice her.
I have about 19 hours on tracer on console and this video has helped me but I feel like some of these are based on aim a bit, for example when you said she’s good for picking off enemies that aren’t clumped, I see myself getting killed by Ana’s or brigs when in a 1v1, so idk just pointing it out if you could explain please do but great video otherwise❤
Edit: I realize that aim will just come with time so no worries

Hey hello I’m a new tracer main and this guide helped me a lot although I have a question do u think that tracer is viable in the meta and in all modes and maps of not what maps does she does bad in same for modes thanks!
She’s basically viable in every situation tbh, you’ll struggle if they’re playing something like Dva, tracer, torb, moira, Lucio but that level of countering won’t happen often

@@swift2437 of course! I like the s3 balance changes overall, especialy that Mercy got nerfed lolol, and the ability to earn a legendary skin and purchase old event skins is nice

Im a kinda new player and i took tracer cause well i liked the idea off recalling and the assasian playstyle but i find it hard to come close to enemies without getting killed by a random attack or that they just turn behind them and kills me in seconds :(
Try focusing more on engaging when your team is already distracting the enemy!

Because at a high level the Zarya will get energy anyway, and burning through it forces her to be vulnerable faster! It’s what you do usually at a high level
Why do they melee so much btw?
To finish kills, the burst of damage will secure a kill that might be lost to healing or many other things

This is tragic. She went from apex predator to sad little scavenger - pea shooting all game and only eliminating already low targets. Tragic.
Maybe actually revert her damage nerfs? I still don’t understand why they did nerf her pulse bomb to 300 and her pistols damage she’s literally “getting one shotted simulator” and it’s not even fun playing her rn so many characters can straight up shit on her even supports lmao she’s a joke rn
