- Finally giving you all the updates on frozen embryo transfer round 2! It's wild our frozen embryo transfer day is in less than a month!! Not only updating you on our FET calendar, but also sharing my thoughts and feelings going into it this time. Emotions are high!
Going into our frozen embryo transfer this time is so different than last time 2 years ago. Mainly I'm feeling extremely emotional. I've also been processing the recent past traumas of IVF, labor and delivery, and a difficult postpartum. Even though I successfully got through our FET last time, it was rough! So I find myself dreading the process. But I want another baby so badly; I've never wanted something more!
It's crazy I'm already giving you guys frozen embryo transfer updates as our date is almost here! I knew it would be here before we know it. Pray I can stay calm and positive as I start the medications next week. Pray I can ease my mind and control my anxiety. I'm so much more nervous this time! My name is Brittany and welcome to my channel where I share everything I know about health, specifically focusing on fertility health while balancing my other job as an Operating Room Nurse. In addition, I'm passionate about sharing my infertility story and current IVF journey. Balancing living healthy with going through IVF is not easy, so I want to share it all in hopes of supporting other women.

UPDATE FOR ME: I just finished my third egg retrieval cycle and about to start my fourth in a week (I’m doing Duostim with my RE).
I’m 41 years old (42 in August) with an AMH of 1.96ng/mL and AFC 12 as of last August 2023.
In January I got 14 eggs which resulted in 5 blasts and 1 euploid (5AA to 5BC after a retest required) - then in February I got 8 eggs which resulted in 4 blasts and 1 euploid (5AA) - and last month this most recent time I got 6 eggs which resulted in 4 blasts and I just sent two samples of my day 6 5BB’s for PGT testing out of state this morning.
My egg count keeps going down, so I’m worried, praying for better numbers this month, but of course very thankful for what we have already gotten and whatever we get. 🙏🏻
Please PRAY that I get one more EUPLOID / my RE says it typically takes three EUPLOIDS to equal one successful pregnancy at my age, please Jesus 🙌🏻 let it come through this round with these two or next round in July.
Hoping to transfer for the first time maybe September or October this year?

Girl I am having some serious anxiety over my eggs retrieved round #2 happening next week. All that ater having 3 embryos from egg retrieval # 1 at the age of 28 years.I end up now with only 1 left. 😢 I had a miscarriage and a embryo that didn’t stick with a lining of 9,7. So considering that I am 2 years older I decided to do another round before our next transfer. But it has been so hard. I feel guilty…my body that failed my 2 beautiful health embryos. Trying to stay possible knowing I kept a healthy diet and took every vitamins that I could p help.🙏 and my doctors are always very positive.

Yes I had my transfer last Friday and it went well, at least from what we could tell. We find out the pregnancy results Aug 4! So we’ll see what happens next!

We got a great update call this morning from our clinic’s embryologist regarding our little embabys following our last recent retrieval - so excited for the next call on Tuesday!!! Thank you Jesus for your blessings 🙏🏻

I’m 27 weeks pregnant now from a 2nd embryo transfer. Binged watched all your IVF videos at least twice now. I am so sorry that you’re experiencing such ptsd. Know that it’s not your fault that you have been dealt these cards. I’m sure there are lots of people out here going through the same. Nothing good comes easy 😊If it helps, I’m so excited for your 2nd transfer. You’re taking all the right steps to get here. Hoping therapy helps so you enjoy the 2nd round. @@brittany_elizabeth_rn I am also getting ready to begin my IVF journey. We’ve had some issues with an abnormal genetic screening (my husband and I both happen to be carriers of a certain genetic abnormality) which has been devastating.. but I am so thankful for the medical technology (PGT) today. However, we are waiting to see if they can do PGT-M for the condition we tested as carriers for. Praying for positive feedback 🙏🏼

Hi Brittany!! Well I had egg retrieval last Saturday 7:13 . Day 5 , yesturday none of our little ones did anything day 5 BUT they were hanging in there….as of today we had 1 little blasts strong enough to freeze and biopsy ❤❤ they are holding the others just in case they make it tommoroe. I was gutted and cried 20 mins yesturday at work …I felt like our lil ones passed away 😢 but there’s hope. That’s the first miracle we’ve ever had in all our 20 yrs together. Need two more: euploid stick baby! Eh a lot for me to ask for but this is all we’ve wanted together our own lil family. Always thinking of you and you beautiful expanding family!

I am exactly in the same position! expecting transfer on July 23 and struggling with secondary infertility ... I feel the same- this time is a lot harder than my 1st daughter

How do you plan to deal with the wait between Transfer and pregnancy test day? Do you have tips for waiting
My biggest tip is to stay busy to keep your mind off of it! The biggest challenge is dealing with your mind during this period of time
