    Hi Brittany, your videos are my fertility Bible. I’ve been watching you ever since the summer of last year trying to get myself ready and prepare. I finally had my egg retrieval on Saturday and I’m just waiting to hear from day five about my little babies seven embryos fertilize so they’re in the lab doing their thing and it’s driving me insane I am trying very hard to say super positive you know I know the archer rate and stuff but I’m trying however our goal is to do our frozen embryo transfer in late October early November so like you said, I am trying to start three months ahead to get my body prepared for it. You know with some stress and some fertility meds. I have gained a little bit of body fat that not too happy so I’d like to get mybody mass index but I am a massive weight loss loser I went from having 60 BMI to 26 so I want to heat my fat down and I just don’t feel good lately either. It’s just been so hectic and stressful. You post everything you talk about everything is so helpful and I cannot thank you enough. I’m so glad to hear a little Quinn is doing well and I’m hoping by now he might have a little brother sister on the way I got some other videos to catch up on.

      Sounds like you’ve been doing a great job getting healthy! That’s amazing! Pretty normal to gain weight with the IVF meds. We just have to do our best to eat healthy and move our bodies every day.

    Hi Brittany, first congrats on your successful journey. My first fresh embryo transfer did not work. Planning to do frozen transfer in 6 months. Just curious, did you take birth control before your embryo transfer? If so, for how long. Much appreciated.

    • @brittany_elizabeth_rn
      @brittany_elizabeth_rn  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! And yes I did. I don’t have regular cycles so I got started on the birth control pill a couple months before my transfer meds started so that they could time everything appropriately. If I remember correctly, when I started the estrogen pills I could stop taking birth control

    Wow thanks, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

      Thank you!! And all in due time girl! Keep continuing to trust the process. Your frozen embryos aren’t going anywhere. So when your body is ready, it will be the perfect time! One day at a time and before you know it’ll be your transfer day💕 Keep taking good care of yourself my friend!

  • @odessy0000

    I think the bottom line is that if your embryo itself is of good quality and you don’t have major physiological issues, transfer should work. But, if the embryo’s genetic makeup is poor, nature itself will tend to prevent it from being accepted by the body.

Try your best to enjoy the process. Don't do crack or meth or anything like that. Just take each day as it comes, each appointment, stay prayerful.❤❤❤much love, success and no stress!

    Thank you as always for your helpful and informational videos! So much of your advice around diet I incorporated, so I appreciate you!
    I, too, incorporated acupuncture but not until before my second FET and I am soooo thankful on so many levels for her!! I saw her twice a week leading up to my transfer because I had never done it before and she wanted 8-12 sessions before the transfer and then twice the day of, sometime during the morning before and immediately after. My anxiety was/has been the worst after the transfer and my acupuncturist also helped with that! She put pins in my ears that stayed there to focus on the central nervous system and help with anxiety. She also encourages meditation which helped immensely. I can't say enough about it. I am still seeing her, because it was recommended weekly sessions through the 1st trimester and then monthly after that. I am currently 11 weeks so we'll see what's to come.
    I also wanted to add for those that plan to incorporate electrolytes that I have a recommendation that doesn't have as much sugar, the brand LMNT. I have yet to try it but am interested to learn of one with less sugars.

      Aww thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this and for sharing! 😭❤️
      Huge congratulations on 11 weeks!!!🎉💕👏 I’m so so happy for you girl!! And that’s awesome you found acupuncture to be so helpful and therapeutic❤️ It’s still so underutilized so thank you so much for sharing your experience🤗
      And I used to take LMNT electrolytes every morning to help increase my milk supply and it worked! It’s also great to take during pregnancy; highly recommend! Since I’m now sponsored by 1st Phorm, I take their electrolytes which are working just as well🥰
      I’m not sure if you’ve seen my video I did a couple weeks ago on my experience after IVF… I dive into my anxiety and mental health during my pregnancy I think you might benefit from watching. I’ll link it here just in case you’re interested
      th-cam.com/video/1X2l-9OwKPk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=obO-cvc7dF1O64ih
      Even tho your anxiety is still high, try to allow yourself to enjoy your pregnancy as you get further along. I can’t emphasize that enough!! I didn’t allow myself to enjoy mine fully and I was way too on guard with my heart to the point that I feel like I mentally missed my entire pregnancy and I really regret that!! I hope I can get pregnant again so I can experience the joy and excitement I missed out on
      Anyways, keep taking good care of yourself and thanks again!💕

    • @bmwdec301
      @bmwdec301 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @brittany_elizabeth_rn oh I didn't realize 1stPhorm has an electrolyte! That's fantastic! I just know a lot of people use liquid iv but it's so much sugar! I did watch your video about anxiety and it helped me so much. It made me recognize that I need to just keep my focus on the positive and keep my head space full of good energy!
      I really appreciate you talking about every aspect. It makes you so relatable and relevant and reassuring! There are too many things that we all just deal with not realizing how common they actually are and the more we share the more we help one another through these tough life experiences!

    Does Lemon water really help with the absorption of IVF meds?? I have heard but really want to verify if it’s true??

    • @brittany_elizabeth_rn
      @brittany_elizabeth_rn  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      From what I’ve read online yes, warm lemon water helps the body metabolize the IVF meds. So I always drank warm lemon water every morning when I was going through IVF and then I liked it so I continue afterwards. When I had Quinn and started breastfeeding, I was struggling with my milk supply so I switched to adding electrolytes into my water instead first thing in the morning

    Eating healthy is okay but no food can increase the chances of implantation. The most important things are the preparation of the womb lining namely endometrium, your hormone levels before progesterones started and the embryos qualities actually if they are euploid. I here assume that your embryo transfer will hypothetically be done perfectly by your doctor. A hard transfer may ruin all these preps. Totally don't recommend on the contrary smoking should be stopped but I had some patients just putting off their cigarette before their transfer but got pregnant since the things I mentioned before were all in line

    • @brittany_elizabeth_rn
      @brittany_elizabeth_rn  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I understand all of that, but anything I can do to help my chances even a little bit is totally worth it! I believe in the science of IVF, but I also believe in supporting the body through the demands of what we’re asking it to do. If I just ate junk food and laid around, my body would be in an inflamed state definitely not conducive to trying to conceive. Thats my mindset at least

    • @drvedat
      @drvedat 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@brittany_elizabeth_rn I see women getting obsessed with this type of eating and life changes in expectation to get a different results and my opinion is that they are torturing themselves and this also adds extra stress and I did everything but why not again layer on top of all the other negative feelings coming with infertility. Too much of everything is no good in my opinion. If that makes one feel good yeah sure. My best wishes

    I'm hoping to adopt an embryo. It will be 2bb graded. I'm not sure if it will work, but I'm hoping! My blood chloride levels are really high and so is my natural killer cells count, which can cause lack of fertility. I'm getting intralipids. I heard taking calcium helps deal with hyperchloremia.

So it’s obvious you don’t know anything about video filming and content creation and that’s ok! I’m here for constructive criticism…key word being constructive. So if you have suggestions please let me know! But just to say something like this without elaborating kinda sucks for the recipient to hear who tries very hard to help others. I don’t have to do any of this you know. Takes A TON of time and energy…two things I’m lacking with all the other jobs I have, working as a nurse, and having a baby. I’m done. Thank you.
