Hey sorry for the late response. TH-cam doesn't always notify me about all comments. Honestly I recommend getting the version with 3 GB of RAM. I tried both and it made such a difference!!! The 64GB and 128GB versions both have 3 GB of RAM. At this point there will be some third party sellers that may have them. 2: I don't have a particular stylus. Just search "capacitive stylus". It doesn't work with older s pens or any form of an s pen.
Thank you for the informative video I just got the 64gb one on cyber mon and love this tab but was wondering if a controller could be paired via bluetooth I may have pick another one up for a gaming nephew
Yes it definitely can! Glad you got the 64GB one for the more RAM! It's not the best gaming tablet but it will work. It can play the easier games like pool or things like that no problem. Games like call of duty it can play but it might be on lighter settings. But yes a Bluetooth controller will work with it
I recently buy this tablet that has 32 gb and 2 gb of ram and my question is if this tablet have the normal samsung music app installed or not thank you
Hey i m new to the channel, in case you havent released such a video yet, could you compare the logitech k380 and the keys to go? I m not able to find proper comparisons or reviews of the keys to go. Besides, is it nessessary to buy logitech or is it enough to buy a 10€/$ keyboard on amazon/aliexpress etc. is there a huge difference in quality or longevity?
You don't need to buy a Logitech by any means. But they are good products. I think the best bang for your buck will be the k380. But yeah you will see a little higher quality in the keys to go. I'm reviewing the tab S7, one plus Nord, and Pixel 4a, and motorola edge. So I'll be swamped for a while. Sorry that I responded late but hopefully late is better than never. Older videos don't notify me about comments all the time
I got it with the $50 gift card from Amazon. Such a steal. And I love it! I was going to get the new kindle but this was way way better! I need Google Play store. I was wondering what accessories to get for it, so thank you for the informative video 😁
Thanks! Hopefully this helps. If you want a stylus, search "capacitive stylus" to get a good stylus. One final tip. Outside of accessories I mentioned, when you're buying random stuff, copy the link of the item you're thinking about buying, then go to fakespot.com and paste the link in that website. They will tell you if the reviews are fake. I see a lot of capacitive styluses, but a lot of them have fake reviews. So make sure to look around. I'm typing now on my Tab A and I love it though! Let me know if you have any future questions!
@@vincem4756 how are you enjoying this tablet, I've been trying to get one is there any lagging, how is the battery life, display, audio, wifi connectivity
@@neverlookback1244 I love it. I sold my iPad Pro recently so I have something to compare it too. While it's not as fast as the Apple processor, it's good enough for daily tasks. I play Minecraft, Call of Duty Mobile, watch TH-cam, browse on Chrome, use Google sheets. It rarely if ever lags, its plenty fast and the screen is plain gorgeous. I don't miss my iPad at all and hardly notice a difference. In other words it doesnt feel like a $500 difference. Wifi connects fine, I never lose connection. Speakers are ok, the only thing I would complain about! Battery is astounding, I can use it all day and have the screen on for hours and it will end the day with 50-60%. YMMV. But for $150 my god it's an amazing product for an amazing price. I'd pay $200-$250 for this tablet. Its midrange so set your expectations there. And I'm sure it runs circles around Amazon's new Kindle Fire HD 10.
Only capacitive styluses. Styluses that work just like your finger, it doesn't work with any Samsung S-pens. It doesn't have that capability built into the screen.
Awesome reviews! I ordered the clear back case, and I'm so glad you reviewed it :) I was gonna purchase the first flip case you reviewed, but the plastic-y corners concern me (like, would they crack over time?). On my old iPad I could highlight an article and have it speak to me out loud. Can I do that on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1? In other words, I would like my Tab A 10.1 to be able to read things aloud to me. Can it do that? If so how?
Samsung galaxy Tab A 2019 doesn't support video output to monitors/ TVs through HDMI, just letting you all know since the video mentioned the hub with HDMI
I have a Tab A 10.1 and decided to buy a usb c hub to connect to a monitor but it does not show up. My note 20 connects to the monitor via the usb c hub but not my tab A. On investigation I saw the hub runs on usb 3.0 and the Tab A is UBC 2.0.
Yes. If you use my link in the description, you can get the 64GB version, which has 3 GB of RAM. The 32GB version only has 2GB.. Not right now its on sale, down from $280, it's currently only $230 right now. A really good deal!
I like this tablet but the wake/sleep sensor is missing and that's really a deal breaker for me.I don't know what samsung was thinking when they removed this feature
Yeah I get it. I just turned off security, did double tab and got a case with a screen protector that I wouldn't have to flip. They definitely should have kept that smart wake feature though
@@AndroidDigest I really don,t see a need for a screen protector for this tab. I don't plan on taking it to beach, and will mostly be used at home by only me. It has Gorilla glass 3, so I think I'll be fine. The lack of the sleep/wake feature doesn't bother me at all as this is my first tablet.
Hey Zack, does this device really work with HDMI connection? I checked it with an app MHL CHECKER and it says yes, it is MHL ENABLED. But i would like to be really sure before to buy this usb c hub you mentioned that i think is really cool an complete. Thanks in advance!!!
Actually no. I don't believe it will work. I mentioned this in my pinned comment. Originally I assumed it would but no. It's unfortunate but I believe the USB C port is an older version that won't allow
I could be wrong but all the information I've been hearing from users has been no. Honestly it's still a good idea to get a USB-C hub. If you go through the link on amazon you can also search for an anker USB C hub, they have smaller ones with less ports for like $25. I recommended one on one of my most recent videos on Tab S6 Lite Accessories. It's great to have because it works with laptops and will work with future devices. I also plugged a USB microphone into mine and plugged it into my phone for a Facebook live stream and it worked. So it has extra perks. But on this tablet the hdmi isn't one of them (as far as I've heard). I would test but I go back and forth between devices to do reviews
Did you find out if the standard HDMI to USB-C adaptors work yet ? (Just the £10 Amazon ones, i've tried a couple and they work great with the Note 9 etc)
@@AndroidDigest Well this is all you really need to check it out, they work great etc, I dont want to buy this tablet for a friend if the HDMI out does not work etc :) www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook-Samsung-Black/dp/B07TD515P2/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=usbc+to+hdmi&qid=1581175105&sr=8-5
It supports capacitive styluses. Just search capacitive stylus and you should find plenty. I don't have a specific one that I use since I don't use many. But they work similar to your finger, so it won't reject your hand if you touch the screen to move around, it will take your hand and stylus equally both as touch, if that makes sense. Hopefully this info helps
Bro please help me out i am planning to buy ....my query is does it hang at moderate use ?? Samsung is being said for its hanging so please let me know
That's really hard to say. People will have different opinions. If you get the 64 or 128gb models with 3gb of ram they do pretty well. Comparable to $300 smartphones
So the iPad is definitely going to be faster. No doubt. Apps are also optimized a little better for iPads. And the s pen doesn't work with this tablet, you will have to buy a capacitive stylus that sort of works like your hand does. To combat slower speeds I would buy the tablet with 3 GB of RAM, either the 64 or 128GB versions.. On the plus side: The Tab A, in my opinion, will have better speakers. It is also much more customizable. iPads just dump all your apps on the home screen. So there's no real customization. You move your apps around and that's it. Android tablets have home pages and apps separate. So you can customize your home pages however you want. You can also put widgets on your home pages for weather which is a big plus. I reviewed the Tab A on my channel, my first ever video, so a little lower quality, but I've got more details there. Hopefully this helps you! Link to the Tab A in the description. Feel free to use it to go to the iPad too. It's a tough call. For me I like the customization better, and I think the Tab A, even the 64GB version, you can find cheaper when it is on sale (iPad is a little more expensive). But I'm a big Android guy. Hopefully this helps you

Hello Good video Just found you this morning. I subbed and I liked you. I got the 3rd case for my 10 inch. I wonder if sometime you can do a review on the Samsung tab 8 inch 2019 model it would be a big help. Thanks in advance. Take care .
Thanks Holly! Sorry for the late response. I don't always get notified about comments. So the 8" tablet of 2019 doesn't have a 1080p resolution, only has 2 GB of RAM, personally I think it's overpriced. There are Lenovo tablets for $150 with 1080p screens and they are 10". I also reviews a Dragon Touch tablet with a 10" screen. (Actually selling my review unit on ebay now for like $120). Point is. There are better values in my opinion. I think display and screen resolution is a huge factor. You want to see clearly.. I try to pick products I know my viewers will want and pick products that are worth it. For most people, I'd recommend getting a cheaper tablet with a 1080p screen or step up to the Tab a 10.1 that's why I haven't reviewed it yet. I'm reviewing the Pixel 4a, One Plus Nord, Motorola Edge, and Galaxy Tab S7. So I'll be extremely busy. But if I ever get the chance I'll take it!
You can buy a capacitive stylus. It works similarly to using your finger for touch. It won't have the features of an s pen but it will work. No s pen you buy will work on this tablet. You can use any of my links if you choose to get to Amazon and when there just search for a capacitive stylus.
Amazon is only offering the 32th from third party sellers. Is that safe? There is also a 128TH refurbished tablet for the same price. What do you think?
Click on the seller and see what their feedback percentages and how many sales they have. If their feedback is over 90% it's plenty safe. Amazon is also a great company and they will probably refund you if there was a big issue.
Feel free to use my links to go back to look... Links in the description. But yeah honestly. I wouldn't trust someone who is only gotten three or four ratings. And I wouldn't trust someone with a 80% or lower percentage. but if you find someone with a good rating I would definitely trust them. also if you find one from the Amazon warehouse that is coming from Amazon directly. Even though they are listed as a third party seller
I upgraded from the older 10.1 to this (2019) version and it's been nothing but trouble. I cannot browse Reddit for more than fifteen min without it slowing way down and eventually crashing out to the home screen where I must either clean the memory or restart the device. Software is up to date. I have tried removing the SD card. I have tried clearing the app cache. Nothing will fix the issue.
If you got the version with 2GB of RAM, the 32GB model, I think it's just getting bogged down. I also had problems with that model. The 64GB amd 128GB of storage options both have more RAM and they perform much better. Also, the Tab A7 just released and that tablet comes with 3GB of RAM in all models. And the Tab S6 Lite is on sale right now for $250 at Best Buy. Maybe Amazon too. And that has 4GB of RAM and performs way better. I think the RAM is just getting bogged down with reddit in particular. Sorry to say I'm not sure it can be fixed.

Hi just found channel it's great. Now I need your help. What tablet allows you to record game play with sound that is not to expensive? Any help is appreciated thank you. Just subscribe.
New subscriber/new owner of galaxy tab a 10.1 128gb /3 gb. About 500gb sd Please forgive my asking for help. After 2 hours with Samsung's "help staff" I realized that his instructions included a "do loop." He didn`t know what that is. With all the memory and power in this tablet, I was astonished and frustrated to learn that ONLY 1 APP I USE can go onto the SD! Even with 128gb, Samsung loaded up the internal storage so I only have 1 g available after the recent update. That's even after I stripped down most of what I would like, and some of the Samsung bloatware. The Galaxy Tab A Tablets with less than 128 gb internal memory don't have all that baggage! Here's my 1st question: What can I safely remove/disable/forbid? I want to down load You Tube vids so I can use them where my encrypted, password-protected wifi isn't available. Idiot me, I had no idea they couldn't go onto hard drive. And I can't put much into internal memory UNLESS I could I delete apps I won't want. For example, I DON'T like games; can I delete their game optimizer, or will that cripple my tablet for other purposes? I just need a list of the apps THEY chose that I can delete or at least disable. Their caches automatically restore! Samsung wasn't helpful. 🤯 They ADMIT that "not all apps can go to SD"; I can't find a list of apps that DO! 2nd question: Do you know how/where I could find out? I'm not a techie, and at 70, don't expect to become one. My 3rd question is, is there anything like a "Galaxy A for Dummies" book, app, website, or ? Thank you for your patience in reading this letter. I can't be the only old lady who has this problem!
Thanks for subbing! So I'm in the spot where I also don't have a list of apps that can go on the SD card. More and more phones and tablets are going away from apps being able to go on the SD card and devices are all different, so it is difficult for anyone to make a universal list.. Honestly my only advice is to to your settings, go to your apps, and uninstall most of the Samsung apps. If you can't uninstall I would still disable most of the Samsung apps. They won't cripple your experience. In the app screen, if you click the button that shows extra options it will give you the option to show system apps.. many system apps would cripple the experience if deleted. So just don't click to show system apps. Finally. You can put TH-cam videos you download on your sd card. I don't know how your downloading the videos, but many apps will allow you to change where the videos save. And you can have them save to the sd card. But the easiest solution might be just to move your files. Samsung has a file manager (it's an app) either called file manager or my files. You just have to go into that app, go into your storage and find the videos, hold your finger on the video and you should be given an option somewhere to move the file. Then you move it to your sd card. So there are ways to move the files after they are downloaded. That should hopefully free up the most space for you. I'm sure you can TH-cam how to move files to sd card Samsung and hopefully there is a video out there. Maybe you knew much of what I said. But hopefully some of this is helpful.
@@AndroidDigest Thanks! I'll report back. Just to clarify, if you don't use games, you won't have a use for the games optimization app preloaded on tablet?
The 10.1 inch doesn't come with an s pen and s pens don't work on it. The 8.1 inch model outside of the US does work with an s pen. For the 10.1 inch version you will need a capacitive stylus. It won't have s pen features but it is still a pen that should work well.
You cannot use an s pen. You can you a capacitive stylus, which is essentially a stylus that works like your finger. You don't get all the extra features but it still works
@@sandyy00 it won't have the features of the s-pen, this tablet won't work with any s pens or any windows stylus.. So keep that in mind. But a capacitive stylus works great!
How can I get my screen on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A to go in sleep mode when I close the cover so when I return it will start up and not drain the battery?
You can't. There is a sensor that is required to be built into the tablet and they didn't put it in this model. I mention that in the video but yeah it's just not possible. You will have to press the lock/power button to lock it. You can always double tap to unlock the screen though. It's annoying but just how this tablet works

How much to buy tablet keyboard
Are you able to use the USB accessories and charge at the same time with the USB C dock? Been looking for this information everywhere and only some tablets seem to support this
Hi I’m going to buy this tablet in a few weeks so if anyone could answer some of my questions
1)is the ram alright? I know it only has 2GB and I’m only looking to take notes maybe art TH-cam Netflix and also pubg would I be alright?
2) any stylus’ you recommend ?
I think that’s it pls answer x
Hey sorry for the late response. TH-cam doesn't always notify me about all comments.
Honestly I recommend getting the version with 3 GB of RAM. I tried both and it made such a difference!!!
The 64GB and 128GB versions both have 3 GB of RAM. At this point there will be some third party sellers that may have them.
2: I don't have a particular stylus. Just search "capacitive stylus". It doesn't work with older s pens or any form of an s pen.
Sir , I want know .

Deepak Bavaskar works perfect I recommend it 100%
Yes works good with Zoom!
if i invest in a bluetooth keyboard for my table will it work with my non smart tv

Thanks for the video. Helped a lot!
Older videos don't notify me about comments all the time
Rechargeable battery will work great with keyboard
@@AndroidDigest I will thank you!!
@@vincem4756 thanks for the information, I think I'll get one is 32gb enough or should I go for the 64/128
I really need to know what pens work on it can you mabey tell me if u find out pls :)
Is the tab A 10.1 still worth it to buy in 2020
Yes. If you use my link in the description, you can get the 64GB version, which has 3 GB of RAM. The 32GB version only has 2GB.. Not right now its on sale, down from $280, it's currently only $230 right now. A really good deal!
Yes
Sir..... It supports s pen? And this tab usefull for business purpose?
did you find an answer to this question?
they don't sell tempered glass for this tablet on my country and i already scratched it :(
Even me
I like this tablet but the wake/sleep sensor is missing and that's really a deal breaker for me.I don't know what samsung was thinking when they removed this feature
Which pen or stylus do you use with this??
I haven't been able to try since I currently don't own the device. But I'd love to know. I haven't been able to figure it out yet
Does any good stylus for this tablet?
Have u actually tried connecting that tablet to a tv? Because I'm getting mixed signals on whether it works depending on where I look.
XxPYROxxJONESxx, Galaxy tab a should be able to chromecast to a smart TV that has chrome. Be sure you are plugged in first, because it eats juice.
Can i use a stylus or pen in this?
You are far less annoying than Pewdie Pie... Great video.
I can't find any software to mirror my screen to a large screen TV. Has anyone managed to do this?
Does it support hdmi? Have you tried it?
I don't think if support it
does supcase work well even with tempered glass?
You may have to hit the plastic protector out of the supcase. I've had to do that and it still worked really good
i believe this tablet doesn’t support an s pen but does it support a stylus? if so what brand would be best for it
It supports capacitive styluses. Just search capacitive stylus and you should find plenty. I don't have a specific one that I use since I don't use many. But they work similar to your finger, so it won't reject your hand if you touch the screen to move around, it will take your hand and stylus equally both as touch, if that makes sense. Hopefully this info helps
Android Digest Thank you man!
ddoes the tab a 10.1 2019 come with s pen or does it function or work with it bcs i really want it but i need to draw with it
I dont think so, the s pen only works on the s series, if you want to draw you should get the tab s6 lite
Very good video
Thanks! Means a lot
I didn't see a ton of lag doing much stuff. It's slower than a $500 or $600 device. Just depends on what you expect
Thanks man👍 💯
I have the Samsung Galaxy A70 phone and now I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and they both run 1 UI and pie !!!
That's a really good combo
Tab A will get Android 10
How does this compare to the 7th gen iPad and also does this support s pen ? Thanx

I think this meets my thirst.
I know it doesn’t come with a pen. Will I be able to buy one and use it on this tablet?
You can buy a capacitive stylus. It works similarly to using your finger for touch. It won't have the features of an s pen but it will work.
No s pen you buy will work on this tablet. You can use any of my links if you choose to get to Amazon and when there just search for a capacitive stylus.
Android Digest thank you 🙂
Amazon is only offering the 32th from third party sellers.
I have the same case but its from jetech to the slim case

Now I need your help. What tablet allows you to record game play with sound that is not to expensive? Any help is appreciated thank you. Just subscribe.
Yes there are ways to do that through apps. Just need to download an app to do it.
Is there a simcard slot available to this Tablet?
Only in certain versions of this tablet
New subscriber/new owner of galaxy tab a 10.1 128gb /3 gb. About 500gb sd
Please forgive my asking for help.
@@christal2641 No, you won't need that :)
