I lived in NY during my teen years, and I have the utmost respect for pilots who can land at LGA. That's one of the toughest, trickiest airports to get into with very little room or margin for error.
Since they built those humungous blue buildings next to the white ones at the 500-foot mark, it's made getting into LGA even more challenging.
Even more amazing is when a pilot can do a smooth landing with no bumpiness whatsoever, which I've seen a few do.
I can only wonder how tough it must be when there are high winds. I came into LGA from a flight from PBI, and there was a snowstorm with a 600-foot cloud cover. When we pulled into the gate, the captain said humorously: "there are flights going back down to West Palm Beach later today if you can catch one of them. I would."
    I nearly did exactly that!

I like that you took off AP at the towers - as a pax, I hate the way the RNAV jerks the airplane around. Rather have the pilot do that on such a tight approach with turns and buildings and stuff...

More fun to hand fly for sure.
