Hey Curl Friends 🥰 Someone told me I “Talk Too Damn Much” 👀🫣🤣 So if you want to skip to the wash portion of the video it’s around 11:38. Also sorry that I forgot to include the leave -in conditioner application 🤦🏽♀️. Just know I did use my new favorite Cantu leave-in and it’s featured later on in the video. 💖 As always, thank you so very much for your love and support! I cannot tell you how much it’s meant to me and how uplifting it’s been as well be gone through this major setback. Love y’all tons‼️ ~Shelly 💖
Exactly! I think we’ve been scared into thinking there’s only one way to get a beautiful shape for curly hair. However, the Textureologist debunks that with her gorgeous work she does on blown out cuts! Also, if someone is concerned about their hairs health and wants an impeccable shape they can implement a combo of blown out cuts and curly cuts. Problem solved‼️💯
You do talk more than most….But, you are absolutely DELIGHTFUL!!!! Your ability to be “just you” makes me chuckle and the next thing you know….I’m howling with laughter because you’re so really YOU!! I watch you when I want encouragement on this journey as well as good info!! I began the Anthony Dickey method JUST BECAUSE OF YOU…..And I’m THRILLED!!! My hair is soft, hydrated and the tangles have all but disappeared. I’m on an every 2-day schedule and it’s MARVELOUS!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT ADVENTURE WITH US!!!! KEEP ON KEEPING AND YOU DO YOU!!! Some of us wouldn’t want you to change a thing!!!!! 🥰😁
Aww thank you Luv! 💖🙏🏽 Girl that’s the power of that 2XX speed button on here! I should try and time stamp stuff so ppl can skip around easier but I honestly don’t even know how to do that. 🤣🤣🤣 So thrilled to hear his method is working for you! Just make sure you add a protein treatment here and there when needed. That’s the one thing he doesn’t mention that I think is a must. 🥰🤗
I ONLY did twist outs and decided to start doing wash n go’s, since my job went 100% remote. I wash my hair straight for 5 days during my normal shower and…. my hair LOVED IT!!! It’s like second nature now and it takes no time at all. I now wash every other day, sometimes two days in a row, just whenever I want since it’s so quick and easy. I know that I will not go past three days unless on vacation. Following your journey, best of luck.
Love hearing your experiences and what you’re currently doing. I love it because it allows us all to learn from each other! Thank you for following me. I truly appreciate you being here with me Sis! 💖🤗💯
I so wish I had your stylist. I can’t trust the folks out here lol - your hair looks so healthy!!!! Currently, I’m blowing out my hair and braiding it in large sections and using a wig. I’m going to return to curls after the holidays’. I did a good two inch cut a month ago. Blount cuts vs layers do seem healthier for the hair. Also, My goshhhh Wowwww lol love that meme!
It’s definitely hard to find a good stylist! Sounds like you have a great handle on your hair. At some point I’m going to take over the full care of my hair once it grows long enough for me to. Which meme? 👀🤣
You have a beautiful thick head of hair! So I wouldn’t be concerned about the length of your hair. Having a healthy head of hair is the priority. You go girl you are on your way! Thanks for sharing and motivating all the curly girls!
Thank you! Straight hair to me is boring as well. I'm glad someone else feels the same way as I do. I only blow out for a trim personally; we each have to choose a method best for ourselves and our kinks/coils.
So very true! If I didn’t need to blow mine out for cuts I wouldn’t bother anymore because I love my curls that much. Now it might change as my hair grows out and I can play with braid outs etc. We shall see but for now it’s the curls for me! 💖💯
OMG! You are so funny you have me in tears when you talked about inserting the pictures of your hair when you first did it and you were shaking your curls that was hilarious! Love you girl!😂😂❤
Today I used a lot of conditioner in my hair like you do. It made a difference and I shampooed hair this time and my curls still look nice. Also, I’m going on 5 months without split ends like omg!
Aww thank you beautiful! I’m so happy with the new direction my hair is going! It’s day and night different now! ♥️🙌🏽 That clip had me so weak too! 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Shelly! Girl talk all you want, I’m nosy and want to hear all the things😆😆😆😆😆😆 Gosh your hair is just perfection at this point. I’m just happy to see the joy and admiration you have for your hair. Nothing wrong with speaking LIFE into our hair. Keep shining❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
You're the best and thank you so very much for that Sis! 💖 I had to laugh when I read the persons comment because I’m thinking ummmmm it’s TH-cam isn’t that what you are here for? How else am I supposed to convey what I want to share??? 🤔🫣🤣 Anyway I love having you here and on instagram. I’m always very appreciative of your supportive and loving messages‼️💖🤗
You popping, Looks beautiful 😊! Keep doing moisturizing deep conditioners after using heat tools, it usually takes like 3 wash days with deep conditioning for me to get my curls fully back bouncy, especially doing wash and Gos and cowashing helps get it back too.
Your hair is gorgeous! She cute! Life has been life'ing' and I'm catching up on your journey today. Look at that shape! Curly cuts are not necessary to get shape. You are inspiring!
Thank you so much beautiful! 🥰I couldn’t agree more! You can get shape without having to get a curly cut. The Textureologist proves it daily! That’s not to mean ppl shouldn’t get them but it’s important to know they’re more than one way and it might be less expensive too! I paid $85 for my last salon visit. That included, shampoo, condition, blow out, a cut, flat iron and a 2nd more in depth cut. Compared to the $450 I spent at my last curly cut not to mention I personally thinks it’s healthier for my hair, it’s a no brainer! 💯
I totally feel you! One of the reasons I went natural was because I got bored with my straight hair, lol! Although I can feel that my hair is dense, I still never really thought it was that thick either, which I know doesn't even make sense. My stylist told me that I had a lot of hair, and so many people would love to have that fullness. I was super surprised! That's when I started wondering, "do I have thick hair?" I guess when it's what you know and are used to, it doesn't seem so thick...??? And, that was back when I was relaxed. Yes, I'm nosey and have a couple of questions, lol! Why did you later feel you should have done a full wash with shampoo being you had it washed when you got the cut? Considering you have a fresh cut, how was the detangeling after washing on day 8? I LOVE the cut! Your hair is so gorgeous! I want you to know that you are a true inspiration to me because you are honest, and you are around my age trying to bring your hair back to health. My hair has so much damage I probably need to shave it, but 1st, I want to figure out the right hair care regimen for me so I can grow it back, lol. Thank you so much for your videos. I love all your talking and content. I feel I can relate to you. You are a blessing to me! 😊
Omgoodness I wish I could just hug you right now Sis! ♥️🤗 thank you beyond words for your extremely kind words! Messages like these make me want to continue creating content!💖💯 Yes, you broke it down, so perfectly regarding how I feel about my hair density. I honestly just didn’t ever realize it until I went natural. lol 😂 So to answer your questions which by the way are excellent ones. 1. I felt I should have used a lathering shampoo to wash my hair instead of co-wash because of all the products we had used to protect my curls. For example, the heat protectant spray. I honestly, could feel the product still on my hair, but chose to co-wash anyways because we had really deeply cleansed my hair prior to blowing it out and flat ironing it. I know that was a wrong choice but I’m still mentally trying to get over the fear of stripping my hair ever again. 😅 2. The detangling session was a breeze in day 8! A fresh cut always makes it feel easier. Also, I waited to really have her cut even more of my hair until I created my method and felt confident that it’ll promote super healthy hair! There’s no use in cutting it if you haven’t fixed the problem. So I totally feel you on all of that! Lmk if that answers your questions and thank you for being here with me! 💖🤗😘
Thank you so much! Yes, you answered my questions. It all makes sense. I feel better about making the decision to wait on that big chop! 😊 You are the best! ❤😇🤗
Hey Mrs. Shelly! We are in a similar boat, I have to get a trim from a bad curly cut and my hair will probably be a shorter bob as well. The girl only cut a few parts of my hair on the sides for shape, so now my hair is super uneven in those areas. She didn’t cut my hair all around which I’ve never seen done before and frankly makes no sense. Glad to see we won’t be regrowing our hair alone! BTW…. I tried the Shelly V method last week because I was tired of the defined part and I love it! Just what I needed to get out of this rut. Your hair is so beautiful and I hope the regrow goes well! 😊
She only cut the a few parts on the sides??? That’s crazy! Like how is that even a real haircut??? I’m sorry you’re going to have to get your hair cut due to that. However, I’ll say if the health of your hair is good and it’s just uneven I wouldn’t cut my hair off if the shape is good while curly. I needed to cut mine because although the shape was shaping, my hair was extremely damaged from everything. I honestly would have been okay with it being uneven since it was cut curly but I had the expectation of healthy uneven hair if that makes sense? Lol 😆 Either way we will grow our hair back out together! 💖🤗
@@shelly.v.247 Uh yeah! I was like how is this a thing! She was a new stylist I was trying out because I had to part with my old one. And the environment there was very sterile, kind of mechanical like an assembly line. I went to her one time before she did the “cut” but this time she actually fixed her lips to say “oh you’ve been here before, uh?” and that was really off putting because even if she has 1,000 heads in a day, don’t let your client know you barely remember them!! Don’t say anything! I told her to do the minimum because when I asked about all the things I’ve heard about curly cuts causing damage her and the shampoo girl gave me standard, none helpful answers. So cutting the sides were her idea of doing the “minimum”. I was so sick of the environment by then I just left without asking if she was going to cut my entire head. She didn’t give me any indication she wanted to….
@@shelly.v.247 Sorry so long…. But now I found a person who was very thorough and actually gave me a consultation, unlike the other stylist and she’s going to fix it. I’m confident she can fix it and save some length, so I’m looking forward to it!! Thanks Shelly, hope you are having a good one!
@@zarisundiata7744 Just read your 2nd part of your message and first and foremost you NEVER have to apologize over here! This is a safe place to express yourself and share your experiences both good and bad. Even if you disagree with everything I’m sharing you can share that too‼️💯 Okay so now that we got that out the way lol 😂 I just want you to know that I’m sorry that was your experience. I’m so happy you have found a great stylist who will hopefully meet all of your needs and get you back on track! 🙌🏽 I’m so happy you listened to the voice within and got the heck outta there!!!!
I was so happy to see it revert back so quickly but we took extra steps to ensure that was the case! And I’m stoked to see and feel my hair back to a healthier state! 🙌🏽💖🥳
Your ends look great!!!!! Like this is what they should look like not …… I digress 😂😂😂 Nice healthy ends. Them curls reverted right back. They said Mama we are home !!! 😂😂😂 Great result ☺️
I literally just cracked up laughing when I read your message!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Girl right!!!! Yes, these curls are saying thank you for bringing us home mama! 🙌🏽🤣
Shelly, your hair looks amazing! I got my first corrective cut in October to fix damage from curly cuts. Getting a second cut in December to trim off the remaining damage. Just happy to start over and get back to having healthy hair. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. ❤
My pleasure beautiful and it only gets better from here! Just make sure you’re keeping your hair well hydrated & moisturized with products that contain oils and butters in the top 3-5 ingredients. That has been a huge game changer for me and restoring my hair! By this time next year our hair is gonna be on a whole new level Sis‼️💖💯😘
So interesting you say that because hearing it just helps Confirm that my thoughts around it are not too far off. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! 💖
Shelly!! Thanks for sharing your hair journey with us. This journey is inspiring and will definitely motivate others to do keep going no matter how difficult the journey gets. I love how you've focused on the health of your hair rather than just its appearance. The curls are SOARING! Also, your tips on hair care routines are quite useful, especially the co-washing method and diffusing drying! Looking forward to seeing more of your hair transformation updates. Keep up the amazing work!!!😘 (When's your birthday?) 16:90 SHE CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
Haha you’re such a blessing to me and so many others Sis! I can’t say it enough either!!!!💖 This has been a very difficult setback but I’m thankful for it because it’s made me dig deep and really understand hair! The knowledge I’m getting is invaluable too. My birthday is November 24th 🥳
I’m with you on the thickness. When my hair is straight, it’s not thick. But when my hair is in its natural state, it’s so big. Now your hair looks thicker than mine straightened. So maybe I don’t have thick hair. But I’ve been told I do have thick hair! Idk! Do you suffer from single strand knots? If so, how do you combat it?
It’s funny because I realize I had thick hair until I went natural. Since my last haircut it seems like it’s gotten thicker which I’m very grateful for. As far as SSK, I still get them but not nearly as much as before. With each cut on blown out hair I’m seeing less and less pop up. I’m thinking I’ll rarely get them once my hair is fully restored to its peak level of health. Why??? Because they come about when I have split ends. Girl when I have split ends that’s when I will start to see them really pop up. Now that I have way less splits I’m seeing way less SSK. Hope my answer makes sense. 💖
I also prefer my curly hair cut straight. I tried the curly cuts but due to my hair having different textures I would still feel where some ends were never cut, not cut enough. So to me personally straight I get a better cut
I am on a cruise and I play pickeball in the morning. Never did the wash and go. I will do the deep conditioning wash and go everyday. My hair is light and badly needs moisture. It used to be soft. Maybe this will help.
Ugh that’s so hard to go through! 😒 I swear hair is such an emotional thing for us. I pray healing over your hair and that your hair regenerates to its original state!!! 💖🙏🏽
Hey Shelly, I was patiently awaiting for this video. Per usual your hair looks beautiful. So, all the cutting needed is done? Did I miss something in the video, are you not doing Anthony Dickey’s method anymore. You inspired me to go back to it and give it a real chance and I love it. I’m not doing it everyday but every 3rd day and weekly cleanse with shampoo. I would like to get my hands on the no sud cleanse by him. Thanks so much for sharing. I appreciate you.❤
Yes! Thank you Luv! 💖 I’m using the cowashing portion of his method but I’ve created my own based off what I feel my hair & scalp needs. I’ll be sharing it with y’all soon! 💖🤗
Shoot I realize I didn’t answer your question about the cutting. So for the most part I believe the major cutting part is over. I still have a small amount of damage throughout my hair because my hair was pretty much damaged from the roots to the tips. However, it’s day and night better now! 🙌🏽 So I think the last little bit can grow and I’ll just slowly cut it out. The only caveat would be if we notice something unexpected which I’m hopeful won’t happen. I just gotta keep my hair well hydrated and moisturized. I feel my new method is doing just that. 💖
Thank you! 💖 I sometimes sleep in a bonnet now because it’s so short. I always sleep on a satin pillowcase so my hair is protected one way or another. 🥰
Congrats on that thick full much healthier head of hair, 2.what happens if you only use one of the gels instead of laying Alijakay over Big Poppa? Btw, no need to throw blows w😂Dora, I think the curly bob is a much more modern version of her signature style🎉!😊
Hey Shelly, I love your hair curly and straight! I loved seeing how thick and healthy your hair looked front root to tip on your blunt straight cut. Question... does your stylist use a heat protectant before she blow dries/straightens your hair?
Woow! Your hair is so much healthier now after that cut🥹. The curls are fresh after 8 days of living, unbelievable! Can't wait for the more in depth video where you break down everything. I'm trying out the Anthony Dickey method and I'm struggling especially setting my curls with gel and diffusing it after.
Thank you so much Luv! I think once I break what I’m doing definitely yet including some of his methodology it might be of help. I’ll be sharing it soon! 🥰
Beautiful hair Shelly! Also, day 8?!? Whaaa? It looks like day 3 or 4! Did you do anything specific at night and during workouts that preserved it so well?
Thank you Luv! 🥰 Nope, I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. I just let it do its thing. Ohhhhh I have been wearing a bonnet more often because it’s so short that I can’t really tie it back as much. For workouts I just leave it as is other than the occasional use of a thin headband to help keep it out of my eyes. 💖
Ohhhhh noooo! Did you silk press it? Sometimes it doesn’t revert back right away. So many will use protein treatments and/or bind builders to bring their curls back. Hade you tried anything like that yet? 🙏🏽
Did she not use heat protectant? Wow I’m just so sorry about your curls Luv! 🙏🏽 Maybe Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate or K18. The Redken is way more affordable and you can use it in dirty hair. 💖
@shelly.v.247 I hope she used heat protectant but to be honest I'm not sure. I have to be a little more "nosey" next time 😂 Thank you for the suggestions!
I'm sorry if I missed it but are you no longer washing daily?..I mean your hair is beautiful and doesn't look like it needs it...Just wondering what your regiment is now with all this glorious hair😊
Thank you Luv! 🥰 I’ve created my own method based off what my hair & scalp needs and I’ll be sharing it soon with y’all. Currently I’m resetting my hair 1-2 times per week depending on how my hair feels and looks. I can’t wait to share everything I’m currently doing with y’all! 💖🤗
Thank you Luv! 🥰 It just depends on how much water I use to set it with but I’d say about 20 minutes of diffusing gets me to about 80-85% dry. I no longer diffuse my hair fully dry anymore. So I’ll air dry the remainder that’s wet. 🥰
@@shelly.v.247 Thanks for responding. My hair is high density and my roots take long to dry. But I wonder if I would be able to diffuse quickly. I’ll give it a try. Your information has been very helpful to me. I appreciate you sharing. !
Okay, here's what I think. I might be wrong. But as your hair gets longer, you will have more and more "old" hair. Old hair gets a bit beat up. It just makes sense. Unless you keep it bunned up aor something. Your ends will always have some damage unless you are always cutting it. What do I have wrong?
Great question! I’ve historically had decently long hair and never experienced this. However, my hair was never dehydrated like it got with the no oils and butters method. Not to mention, my ends always were properly cut via cuts on blown out hair. Even with it down to my butt my hair & ends were ridiculously healthy! My hair was damaged from the roots to the ends with the implementation of the haircare and cutting methods I engaged in. Had I only known it’d result in all of this I would have NEVER used them!!! With all my changes my hair has drastically improved! I can promise you my hair will look and be completely different a year from now! I’m convinced it was those methods that literally destroyed my hair. I’ve had to pretty much start over by slowly growing my hair out and cutting as it’s grown. 😓
@@shelly.v.247 Okay. I'll be watching and rooting for you. Will you put your hair "away?" Like protect the ends at all costs? I like to play too much in my hair and wear it out, so that's why I think some damage is inevitable. I've never been able to stay in braids or wear a wig.
I’ve never been one to wear braids or wigs. Matter of fact, I’ve never experienced either other than braiding my natural hair for a day or two. Lol 😅 So I won’t be putting my hair away at all right now. I’d love to put it into a bun or single braid but that ain’t happening no time soon with my new cut I just got. 🤣 If you’re nosey like me and you want to see what my hair used to look like when it was longer I have a very short video where I show tons of pictures of it. FYI: it was a response video to a person who alleged that my hair got damaged from dieting for body building competitions etc 🤦🏽♀️ So ignore me talking in that one if you watch it but you’ll get to see my hair. It’s this one. 💖 th-cam.com/video/pYNL9Yw5y2g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=e_M8ueBw4Mqg-UnA
@@shelly.v.247 I saw that video. And I'm appalled. I'm no bikini model, but being more active has done nothing but improve my hair. I think I'm a bit too rough with my hair, but I like to play in it and maybe I'm too rough. I'll be watching your progress closer to learn from you as you go through this journey.
My thoughts are that you have been deep conditioning and using leave in for months now and that still isn't hydrating enough. I'm confused. So now it's the products used instead of the curly cuts because curly cuts wouldn't have damaged the hair at the top of your head, right? It seems that on each of your videos, your hair feels "great, moisturized and hydrated" until you get it blown out again and see more "old" damage. Not trying to start a fight, I know that you are trying to figure it all out, but it seems that nothing is sticking other than hair grease, leave-in and putting away like AHG does. I guess I'll stick with him.
Thank you Luv! 🥰 I’ve been tweaking things to create my own method for what I feel my hair needs. Example, a DC, a leave-in, heat protectant, shampooing, cowashing etc. 💖
If this isn’t proof that the curly cuts were damaging your hair, I don’t know what is. All the new hair that wasn’t touched during that process is perfectly fine bec you were taking good care of it. The part where your hair was being trimmed was, like Narada says, throwing up gang signs
Straight hair doesn’t fit your personality, the curls do! There fun, wild, bouncy and mysterious? 🤔 Well I just threw the mysterious in for that *Dramatic Effect* lol.
🤣🤣🤣. Why did I just laugh and simple so hard she big! You’re so spot on even with the mysterious because that keeps it fun! 😆 Have a blessed Thanksgiving friend! 💖🤗😘

Messages like these make me want to continue creating content!💖💯
Yes, you broke it down, so perfectly regarding how I feel about my hair density. I honestly just didn’t ever realize it until I went natural. lol 😂
So to answer your questions which by the way are excellent ones.
OMG DAY 8!!!! Girl your hair is looking good!!!!!!!! And you don't talk "too damn much"!!!😘
Aww thank you beautiful! 🥰🤗 Girl I just laughed. The stuff some people say to others through a phone or computer can be wild! 🤪
It looks good straight or curly at this point; yay for MUCH healthier hair!!! ❤
💖🙌🏽
I love the cut! Your hair stylist is the GOAT. So glad you have her to help nurse your hair back to health! #backtothebasics
Back to basics indeed my friend‼️💯 And yes, my stylist is the bomb! I’m so thankful for her!!! 🙌🏽💖
Hey Mrs.
Lol 😆
Either way we will grow our hair back out together! 💖🤗
@@shelly.v.247 Uh yeah! I was like how is this a thing! She was a new stylist I was trying out because I had to part with my old one. And the environment there was very sterile, kind of mechanical like an assembly line. I went to her one time before she did the “cut” but this time she actually fixed her lips to say “oh you’ve been here before, uh?”
and that was really off putting because even if she has 1,000 heads in a day, don’t let your client know you barely remember them!!

Oh thank you Luv! Yeah them ends needed to go bye bye! We ain’t holding on to 🧹 damaged ends! 🤣
I’m glad that tome-stamp was helpful! 💖🤗
It’s the satisfaction when the hair goes from straight to curl 😍🔥🔥🔥… I love the cut and your hair looks amazing.

Keep up the amazing work!!!😘 (When's your birthday?)
16:90 SHE CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
Haha you’re such a blessing to me and so many others Sis! I can’t say it enough either!!!!💖
This has been a very difficult setback but I’m thankful for it because it’s made me dig deep and really understand hair!
I agree‼️💯
I am on a cruise and I play pickeball in the morning. Never did the wash and go. I will do the deep conditioning wash and go everyday. My hair is light and badly needs moisture. It used to be soft. Maybe this will help.
I think you might be pleasantly surprised Sis! Lmk how it goes. 🥰

Aww thank you Luv! I used the Tangle Teaser but honestly it is can use any wet brush to do it with. 🥰

How do you maintain your hair when working out? She’s gorgeous
Girl I don’t do Nathan to it but wear it as is. However, I don’t typically sweat in my head much 🤷🏽♀️😅
Hey Shelly, I was patiently awaiting for this video.
Still looks very nice
Aww thank you so very much! 💖
Great cut !!
Thank you Sis! 💖
Beautiful!! What do you use to cover your hair up at night?
Haha Dora was hot! 🤣
I can use Big Poppa alone and get a great result but a little Alikay sets it off and gives me additional hold that I like. 💖
@@shelly.v.247 🥰
Hey Shelly, I love your hair curly and straight! I loved seeing how thick and healthy your hair looked front root to tip on your blunt straight cut. Question... does your stylist use a heat protectant before she blow dries/straightens your hair?
Thank you Luv! 🥰 Yes, she absolutely does use a heat protectant when applying any sort of heat to my hair. 💖
Gorgeous ❤❤❤
Aww thank you so very much beautiful! 💖
My hair didn't revert in the front 😢
Ohhhhh noooo! Did you silk press it? Sometimes it doesn’t revert back right away. So many will use protein treatments and/or bind builders to bring their curls back. Hade you tried anything like that yet? 🙏🏽
@shelly.v.247 Yes I had a silk press. I loved it too lol. I will have to try some treatments because I miss my curls.
Did she not use heat protectant? Wow I’m just so sorry about your curls Luv! 🙏🏽
Maybe Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate or K18. The Redken is way more affordable and you can use it in dirty hair. 💖
@shelly.v.247 I hope she used heat protectant but to be honest I'm not sure. I have to be a little more "nosey" next time 😂 Thank you for the suggestions!
Haha yes be nosey 🤣 Girl we gotta watch everything that happens! 🧐
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🥰😘
I'm sorry if I missed it but are you no longer washing daily?..I mean your hair is beautiful and doesn't look like it needs it...Just wondering what your regiment is now with all this glorious hair😊
Thank you Luv! 🥰 I’ve created my own method based off what my hair & scalp needs and I’ll be sharing it soon with y’all. Currently I’m resetting my hair 1-2 times per week depending on how my hair feels and looks. I can’t wait to share everything I’m currently doing with y’all! 💖🤗
@@shelly.v.247yayyyyyyy can't wait 😊
It’s so cute❤
💖🤗
I love the cut! How long does it take to dry your hair using the diffuser?
Thank you Luv! 🥰 It just depends on how much water I use to set it with but I’d say about 20 minutes of diffusing gets me to about 80-85% dry. I no longer diffuse my hair fully dry anymore. So I’ll air dry the remainder that’s wet. 🥰
@@shelly.v.247 Thanks for responding. My hair is high density and my roots take long to dry. But I wonder if I would be able to diffuse quickly. I’ll give it a try. Your information has been very helpful to me. I appreciate you sharing. !
So glad it’s been helpful. Just try using less water and maybe that’ll help like it has for me. 💖
Beautiful!❤️💋😘🤗🥰😍
Thank you! 💖🤗
Lol 😅
So I won’t be putting my hair away at all right now. I’d love to put it into a bun or single braid but that ain’t happening no time soon with my new cut I just got. 🤣
If you’re nosey like me and you want to see what my hair used to look like when it was longer I have a very short video where I show tons of pictures of it. FYI: it was a response video to a person who alleged that my hair got damaged from dieting for body building competitions etc 🤦🏽♀️ So ignore me talking in that one if you watch it but you’ll get to see my hair. It’s this one. 💖

DORAAA 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
👀🫣🤣
No more of the Dickey method? Curls look healthy & super juicy ❤
Yup bingo and not only were they trueing up gang signs but I had tons of flicky bits! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
