    First off ... spending 200k on a vacation means you CAN spend 200k on a vacation. No one who can spend that amount will want to travel with other people. Just fly private and go exactly where you want. It’s like a gross bus tour in the sky

There is actually all the empirical data and compelling evidence for Boeing to revisit both the 757 and 767 programs. The French, as they do with most everything they lay claim to, have merely flattered Boeing with the A321LR. Just like with vanilla, butter, doors and many other things, they should have called it French 757.

      I’m not down on your idea, just wanted to make sure to increase your budget for 1st class travel. I’m not sure how much you travel but I’m a frequent F/J class traveler and I can assure you that it won’t be possible to get 1st class tickets to all those places for 40K. It does slightly depend on where you start from, but these itineraries all start in the US, and the second one goes to japan first. A true F-class RT from usa to japan alone will consume over 1/3 of the 40K. And you’ll still have to deal with a lot of actually J-class type configurations masquerading as F-class. Also - the city hopping (instead of a point-to-point RT) will be less efficient in ticket prices, a bunch of one-ways are also more expensive... again - good idea and I’d tend to agree this would be preferable, but we need to revise the budget for F-class flights :)

    This trip is for people who have so much money that $170,000 for them is like $25 to the rest of us. Still probably overpriced, but that's what the Four Seasons brand is all about: Charge so much money that the very rich can be assured of being with only other very rich people. And I presume that they probably take very good care of their guests, for all that money.

    At that price hire a private jet (bombardier fleet or gulfstream....smaller business jet) at an average of 10k an hour depending on the size would be worth more.

    Wouldn't, most people who have the kind of cash on hand for multi-leg month-long trips don't like being tied down to such a rigid itinerary, if I want to stay an extra 2 days, or suddenly change my plans in another way I want to just do it. Chartering a jet and selecting hotels as you go along is far more flexible and convenient, not to mention comfortable, private and still cheaper.

    Nope, if I have that kind of money to throw away, I would book Seabourn Cruises in their best suite and sail around the world. Meals, room and board and impeccable service all the way.

    A a321 neo!?? Ugh, the last time I flew on a a321neo it was terrible! Noisy, uncomfortable, and CAT (clear air turbulence) was susceptible to the small plane.

    The seats don’t even have separators! You’d be sleeping in the open. And a single bar table? I like fs but this is such a weird concept to me. I could’ve sworn they just used this jet for chartered flights

    I'd pay that if it was Concorde. I mean, Concorde tickets weren't that expensive compared to this. You could've easily done a return trip on Concorde with that money.

    • @mirzaahmed6589
      @mirzaahmed6589 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not if they wanted lie-flat seats on the Concorde. You'd have to reduce capacity from 100 passengers to about 32. Ticket prices would be three times as high.

    I wonder how much an ACTUAL Private jet would cost on a trip like this. You can fill it with 8-10 of people you know. Biz Jets I think of in this running include Dassualt Falcon 7X, 8X, (maybe 6X); Gulfstream G550, G650, G500, and G600; Bombardier 6500, 7500, 8500.

    Private plane means no TSA, never missing connecting flights and never lost luggage. How much is that worth to you? Everywhere you go you stay at four seasons hotel/residences/suites. How much is that worth to you?

  • @mangogo44
    @mangogo44 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    If I could afford it I would only fly it if the whole plane was booked for me/my friends without any strangers. Oh wait... That's what private jets are for! Also hotel bathroom > airplane PUBLIC shower.

  • @metcat88

    even if they serve with their finest resorts on land, exclusive private transfers with luxury cars and unforgettable excursions in every place you visit, it's just an unnecessarily expensive even for the people who can pay that amount of money.
