Hey, just so you know, white eggs aren’t bleached white, they are simply a different breed of chicken. Egg color doesn’t reflect quality, it’s a common misconception.
White eggs are more common in stores because many white egg layer breeds (I.e. leghorns) eat less food, take up less space, and typically produce more eggs per year than brown layers or blue/green layers.
If you want better eggs, check what they are feeding them, and how they are raised. 👌🏻
Yes!! This is true. White eggs from white chickens brown eggs from brown chickens (for the most part)
My wife's mom has about a dozen chickens. When she gives us eggs they're white, brown, green, and blueish. Some have spots, some don't.

@@AnimeGamerCreater I think the number today is less, but my parents told me that the big brand white eggs in the store were bleached. But not the white eggs from local farm chickens. Probably because they heard that from someone else.
I used to believe the same thing about white eggs being bleached, then I got chickens. Pasture raised no matter what color the shell is taste so much better

Have a border collie, poor think keeps gain weight despite reducing his portions. Going to make the switch to raw this week and we live in the middle of no where so needed info specific to what you can get at walmart, so thank you for this video. And thank you for the info about bleached vs unbleached tripe, I didn't know the difference before.
The kibble I use is 75 dollars for 20 lbs so almost 4 dollars a pound. It's called wild red and he still doesn't care for it but he loves any type of raw meat

White eggs aren't bleached :) they just come out that way with certain breeds! You can still feed the shell and it'll be a good source of calcium and glucosamine! Organic/free run eggs typically have better nutrient payoff in the egg itself but the only difference in the shell is that its thicker (more calcium).

You can also go to meat markets and get different meat packages which contain different types of meat.
He He!!! Yall got away easy on the price! I spend at least $100 and prolly more a week on my doggies. In a week they eat a whole $50 brisket, two 10 pound bags of chicken legs, about 6 pints chicken livers, 6 pounds of beef liver, 5 pounds ground beef, and of course neck bones and knuckle bones on the side for treats. What the dogs dont eat for the day (if any) the pussycats eat. We s pend more money on the dogs food than our own I think. We got three dogs too. Enjoyed your video. Thx.

Nice Video! I started raw feeding my Husky almost 2 years ago now. I do a mix of feeding completes/ ready made raw, and the way you showed but meal prepping. just depends what's available and the time i have, but yes would be good to see a full video of the more intricate meal prep that you do.

you do have to be careful when you are feeding any bones that are filled with marrow that your dogs upper or lower jaw can't fit in the hole left behind and also that any bones aren't going to be the same size as the treachea as bones stuck in the throat can be fatal.

30lbs of kibble is $80 where I live. I usually get my dogs a healthy high performance kibble, but just as a little, most of their meal is meat, sweet potatoes, carrots, eggs, and vitamins are added

I have heard so much in this area of feeding and am barely getting familiar with it. But to answer you’re question, I do not grassfeed but I do personally think it would be better. In my opinion 😁

I live in a apartment and have two puppies both rescued from bad situation they're about three and four months old they're a border collie and a yorkie I don't have room for a freezer just small under counter fridge so I have to resort to kibble I do add some mince from butchers and give them small raw bones which they love
Adding the raw food diet to a kibble diet is also very popular and can be easier to do ! 🙏
I live in Ohio, I wish we can buy meat this cheap somewhere. Beef is at least $8/lb and chicken is $3-4/lb

Hey! So what heat did you bring Stella on? For her first. I have a female who just went into her first heat 🙄 but I’m getting a ton of people telling me to breed her on her 2nd or 3rd heat and then a few with 4th heat.? So I’m afraid what to go with best time she is 8 and a half months old
A lot of people do recommend the second heat just to allow them to mature and to avoid any behavioral issues
Dogs don't fully mature until 2 years of age so I would consider it then, but raw feed with a good vet for best results and minimal vacvines. See Dr Peter Dobias and Dr Karen Becker and Dr Richard Pitcairn and Dr Andrew Jones. Blessings to the journey and good health for all

$50 a month is only affordable if u have 1 dog. Mine cost at least $80 just for kibble. I feed raw as often as possible but I can feed mine for much less.
Just doing a few conversions, my 6 month old pup eats roughly 1.2 kilograms of food a day (after checking with several different sites) so that's 36.9Kg's a month (30 days). 36.9Kgs is 81.35 pounds so at $2 a pound, that would be $162.70 a month or at the current exchange rates (1.095) comes to €148.61 a month. $2 a pound is roughly €4 a kilo and there's not much fresh meat you can buy for that, at least not where I am. Beef is €8kg minimum and the same if you want the better fed chickens (rubbish in rubbish out remember). That's not to say don't do it, I'm all in on the raw food diet but I can't buy the food for anything like you guys can. :-(

What store are you shopping at that has these crazy cheep prices? I can't find Beef liver around me for less that 4$ lb. Pork for 1.22 lb ??? I cant find any pork for under 5$lb

We have giant breeds. Cheapest way thus far has been lots of chicken stomach, with some breast and other organ meats. I noticed on nature documentaries that all hunting animals eat the organs primarily first. I still add some kibble as it may not be enough. But a cup or 2 per day is better than the whole meal.

If the meat is cut by a machine (like the shoulder blade steak) then the bone will puncture the stomach. It is still very dangerous, since bones cut by a machine will be much more sharper.
I get eggs from a friend with chickens amd ducks.
Egg color is based upon the chicken breed, not that white ones are bleached. You're good

You can slow cook the chicken to avoid salmonella and the low heat wont cook all the nutrients out 🐔👌

@@AlphaAussies most parasites survive a 3-day freeze. 9 days is the minimum to kill deadly parasites, especially in salmon which is super dangerous to feed raw without the 9 day freeze.

Hey, I saw that you guys fed your dogs with meat straight from the grocery store (I’m assuming not previously frozen) which you should not do. All meat has to be frozen before feeding it raw to ours dogs in order to kill bacteria. Look out for that because all the types of meat also have different timings for freezing (pork must be frozen for 10 days, but chicken I think is 24-48 hours at least)
Maybe look more into this. I have read a few books in feeding raw and they all say this but don’t take my word for it :)
Hey! so with this usually when buying human grade meat from the grocery store, they are already pre-frozen and many parasites are not a cause for concern. Things you should freeze is fresh caught fish, as well as wild caught prey!
I believe they said they’re putting these into their freezer so they will all be frozen before the dog eats it!
Freezing DOESNT kill bacteria at all, it simply stops it multiplying and growing.

Think about this. If a wolf or an African savanna dog or an Australian dingo hunts and eats the meat 🍖 🍗🥩, they can't freeze it. The dog 🐕 eats the meat fresh.

Maybe switch to raw diet! A raw diet actually has more nutrients than kibble. I recommend watching the channel Primal Pack for more info.
What research led you to believe you can give pork raw? (Genuine question i give my dog raw beef and chicken sometimes) Just always heard that pork is the only bad meat to feed raw
If you exclusively feed JUST pork or chicken they will be deficient in micronutrients because both of them are high in B vitamins. Pork B12/ chicken B5, B3 so overtime this is not ideal BUT if you include oysters, sardines, beef, turkey your dog can have a balanced diet. Pork concerns often include the thought that trichinosis will kill your dog but that is outdated as procedures for husbandry, killing, processing of pork has diminshed these chances of contamination almost entirely. Alot of false information is passed around that pork is too high in fat. That is not true and dogs need fat for fuel if they are strictly raw fed their metabolism is ketogenic so they need proper fat to protein ratios. Imagine a whole carcass of an animal it includes a layer of fat between muscle and hide. Hope that helps. Also, vary organs. Organs and bone are VITAL for dogs. Too much beef liver can be troublesome as it is rich in vitamin A.
Companies do not bleach eggs that is a myth. There are several breeds of chickens that lay white eggs such as white leg horns & polish.

Dogs have a different digestive system as that of us humans. There’s start from the mouth and will digest as soon as it touches their tongue. This is why it’s harder for dogs to get sick when they eat “bad” food
