I'm so annoyed about race 1, could've got 5th at least, wouldn't have been able to pass Brazen again but should've been able to hold it. Haven't raced around Lime Rock that much, so thought there was more space but no. 100% my fault, managed to stay ahead of him, but let brazen past in the next corner and apologised afterwards.
It was a racing incident imo. It wasn’t the best place for me to go for an overtake haha, so nw. See you on track again next week :)
It must be brilliant fun doing these big private races with your own set of rules. None of my mates are into forza :( lol
Honestly has to be one of my favorite crashes that have happened (seen on film atleast), just good to see a genuine accident during a really nice little battle for 4th.
Made better by the fact that you are both so sportsmanlike about it.
Anybody else noticed that the reflection in the side mirrors appear on the wrong side of the Holden?
Also, in race one, you can see the difference the grid place makes. TimidNinetails started from #4, got to #1 quite early and just had really good lap times with their Pontiac T/A '02.
F50v2 had the same car and the same "Best lap" time of about .3 faster than anybody else, but since they started on #12, they were stuck in traffic and overall lost about 2 seconds per lap.

My Pontiac was surprisingly really decent, I wasn't able to use the pace at Lime Rock because I was in the midfield and struggled to pass others due to my lack of straightline speed and ended up 9th. VIR was really chaotic and I ended up around 20th after lap 1 but managed to recover to 8th by the end

Alex, running a higher gear takes your weight transfer front to rear corner turn in to exit grip away.
I would love to see this type of content in GT7!
I remember you did a couple of GT7 streams several months back. If Forza isn't cooperating, I wonder if that would be another option for you
Gt7 is a faff to get competition to be close, there’s many more variables on it than forza and the performance rating isn’t really all that accurate
didn’t drive very well in race 3 and threw away a good chance in race 1 but always good fun

in mugello, the very fast double right, you have to take a late apex at both. you have to use the banking as much as possible.
after the first turn you have to slow a little and immediately aim for the furthest outside right after the apex. then you can go flat out through the second turn.

Pits nice and fast to compensate for the menu time I guess, probably more like 8-10 seconds with the transition and menu stuff overall.
Can you run a race where everyone takes just one gallon of gas and see who gets the farthest? Not sure if it's possible since I don't have Forza.
though on the upside seiing how bad it is through your vids it prevented me from wasting my money buying it maybe next year if it has a good discount i might get it

I didn't catch it in the video, but Alex often uses the term 'leery' - leery means untrustworthy.
The word Alex is using is "Lairy". In other words, a bit on the edge of control, and a little too inclined to cross the line for Alex himself. It's for the most part controllable, but only just.
I watch a fair amount of British media, but I've never encountered "lairy" before. Now with the correct spelling, I was able to look it up, so I learned a new word today. Thanks!@@epitomynut

Is it because he uses a controller that he is sliding a lot with this car?
It must of been just not a very fine tune. He said he had to work some things to get it to turn in better but as a result it was twitchy and hard to control but still fast if he can control it. Just needed a few more tweaks I think

unfortunate that forza motorsport ended up being one of those games that were more hype then substance quite a poor release so many issues and so much less content then exspected

why persist with the unstable mess that is forza motorsport when you have a less unstable and more fun to watch alternative in forza horizon that you could play until motorsport hopefully gets better in a few months no expectations their considering the state the released motorsport in could have done with a few more months of development before they released it
