The original Indy circuit was built as a test track and opened August 14, 1909. its racing surface was made entirely of bricks which earned it the nickname "The Brickyard". for years in NASCAR Winston cup series, the Brickyard 400 was held at this track. the original surface was crushed stone and oil and all kinds of junk, but it was later resurfaced with bricks due to drivers getting filthy during races, hence the nickname. today, the only remaining bricks in the racing surface are at the start finish line.
The Lynk would have performed better in the dry, too understeery in the wet ...And I mostly took the 4000lb Corvette because it had a really cool livery - and it was a Corvette lol
_"Tonight, we drive like crazy, we overtake like crazy, and we win... like a sane person. Watch on to see:_ 4:35 _"A Lynk battles for a position on a wet turn._ 22:32 _"A green Lotus gets into a tangle in a corner._ 16:45 _"And Alex, has a nickname for his car." "The Saleen of Grip is here!"_
I lived up to my name and had some messy races, but that might be my punishment for using the same car for a third vstc xD. Had a grass moment in race 1 getting a bit impatient to pass a very slidey rx8, and was the one who accidentally tagged the mx5 in race 2(totally my fault, thought i was clear to go cross sides and mistimed it, spinning it around so I waited and was at the back for most of race 2). Still had fun though, my 924 was nothing special but still got to have some fun battles :)
It’s great you have good friends to play this as civilised racers. Public lobbies are filled with animals that will ram you every single time they get the chance and the penalisation system simply does not work :/ love your videos and narration

Great fun racing with you, can't wait for the next one of these.

I had a great time with my Viper in the rain until someone who shall not be named ruined it all for me :)
Now why would Oli do that to you?
If we say their name, will that have the same effect as saying MacBeth to an actor? 😆
@@Hords Oli had 0 involvement haha
I liked the S13 I messed up trying to pass Ewan which threw away my podium chances. The MG was hilarious to drive
loved your MG, battling with Alex, was it a Ferrari V8?
Yes the 3.0 Ferrari V8. If I remember correctly I shared the tune

I'd love to see that Saleen with slicks!
I miss the S7 being a dream car of a lot of people. Them were the days.

F1 was better than I was expecting but I couldn't quite keep up with the Supra or DBS at Indy
you can take the entrance to that firt corner at 120 by the looks of it. You only using half of the track each time and turning to sharply.
scrappy asf today alex!
