- This is a follow up to a previous video on a 100% failsafe (or close to it) 1/5 scale RC killswitch prototype. In this video i solder it up and give a preliminary function test

@@RCWalletVacuum Thanks again 🙂 Without the model plane club and the people there who know fpv equipment well, I wouldn't have even gotten the drone in the air in the first place. There is firmware downloading, adjustments, etc., which I would not know how to do myself. I started fpv-drones with tiny Mobula 6 drone which is good for training inside and won't break anything 🙂

@@RCWalletVacuum yeah but its apart again, waiting on a front input, chipped a tooth. Upgrading almost everything….think the lower arms are gonna be left stock for now, and the front hub bearing all seized, also bent a front axle. Crazy power from the hobbywing max4. Hopefully by the end of the week it will be back. i saw that bash session you had over at your place, it looked like a super fun time. Nice to see the different rigs rip, it was pretty awesome 👍

Hey Lance, yeah any power interruptions, signal interruptions, battery/switch failures etc will short the ignition and no power is needed to short it out. Well its obvious you have good taste in RC vehicles and i'm glad to hear you have the same with guns!

Nice setup. Are you setting up an e-prom as part of this design? I noticed a programmer off to the side. Honestly I can't say much about it as your over my head. Voltage regulators and relays are about the extent of my knowledge. You are a master designer and only a pro would use a Fluke DVM. You should sell the design rather than the product. Great job buddy. 👍
Thank RC, i'm using the onboard EEPROM on the PIC for program storage. The wireless SCADA for engine monitoring project i'm currently working on will be using an SD card for data storage and NVRAM as a buffer. Thanks for checking it out buddy
