I just bought mine, its my first drone for vlogging my trucking life. What i want is the 5.4k resolution, once they make an upgrade with higher resolution then i woll probably upgrade it again maybe in 2026.
I recently upgraded from a Holy Stone HS720R to a DJI Air 2S and for me it is an absolute win. I have no experience with other dji drones and as a hobby cinematografy flyer it is a huge difference compared to that crappy HS720R. The ND filters work great, the gimbal is excellent. I am sure the mini 4 pro and pther newer models are similar or better compared to the 2S but if you're not a pro flyer or drone film maker, it is still one hell of a drone. I was on a fairly touristic mountain top in Switzerland yesterday and almost all drones in the air ar that place were also 2S drones. I saw one mini 4 pro, and 5 2S drones, including mine.
my 1st real drone was a hs 720e,,,,what a beast,,,crashed a lot,,ripped an arm off,,hit a house,,,,now a paper weight,,,then a mini 2se,,,mini 3pro,,and today a air 2s,,,,dji is the only brand u should ever consider,,,,so much better than them all,,,
My Opinion..In 2024,You Should consider to migrate the RCN1 Conroller to at least RC Smart Controller 1..buying RC Pro would be better if you have a good budget and intend to keep using this legendary drones.Mine has one..and still enjoying fly. Thanks for this video!! 👌
Still an incredible drone. One of my favorites. I have an Air 3, Mavic 3 Pro etc. The Air 2s is just super fun and quick to deploy. it has never let me down and is just so enjoyable to fly.
2S is my first DJI drone and it makes me how reliable the control/signal is, how good the image is, the functionality, settings and stuff are. Haven't used any other DJI drone yet but my first experience with them is just amazing. The tracking features are just amazing!
I have a M3C and an A2S, both in a custom Pelican case. I love them both. They do everything your average pilot/photographer would need. They're in perfect shape, batteries still good and I have all the accessories. And I see absolutely no reason to upgrade to be honest. I mean, unless keeping up with the latest bling is your thing.
The Air 2S has always punched above its weight, so-to-speak. The sensor captures images and videos so well. I have an M3T, but for plain aesthetical photography, the Air 2S gets it done.
I have only ONE problem with Air 2S that bugs me. I keep one specifically for my Insta360 Sphere cameras. It mounts on the Air 2 and Air 2S, and as long as I need one, the 2S has Occusync 3 and lets me use RC Pro Controller. The problem? Other than standard niggles like short flight times compared to newer DJI models (I have them all) THIS: Go to Quick Shots. Draw a box on say, a Steeple of a church, now back the drone up and... the box disappears. This is a bug. It doesn't happen on Air 2, or Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Air 3, Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Pro. Mavic 3 Enterprise. NONE of them. JUST air 2S. I have notified DJI, but they obviously don't want to waste developer time fixing bugs on the oldest model consumer drone they currently sell. The selection box not staying when I move positions prevents me from doing one of my favorite flights, a fly past a subject, where the drone spins around and fly's backward away from the subject. Sigh... I know, get over it, and I should, but it is a bug that bugs me.
I did this with mine yesterday. Just bought a used 2S with fly more combo for a criminally low price. For mine it managed to work fine with all the functions.
According to dji up to 100 cycles is guaranteed to not affect flight time, after that it should decrease. After 200 cycles it is recommended to replace them
"Auto come home, auto return kind of thing?" Not laughing at your expense, but dude, doing a comprehensive review and having to demo RTH because your phone is crap. That's better than ANY expert review, IMO.
Nah, you need a new phone. If the screen on ur phone was blacked out then it's the phone. Get an android phone, I've never had a problem with one. Who knows now, maybe since I just said that my phone might start to act up on me. As long as you have the drone to come back to home, instead of hovering or stopping it will always come back to you. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
Air 2s owner here, since it release , still rocking on 2024

I’ve had mine for 2 years and love it. I can spend more and upgrade but in the end it does everything I need.
Thanks for the video!

Glad to hear you're loving the Air 2S! It's a great drone, and I'm sure you'll be making amazing videos with it.

@@daryllmroberts7958 the holy stone was okay to begin with and learn the basics
I'm also an Air2S user from Indonesia.

@daryllmroberts7958 yes the RC with screen works with Air2s Mavic3 and also Mavic3 classic 👌
Great video! Definitely holding on to my air 2s that i paired with a rc 1 controller. Got my eyes on the Avata 2 though.
It’s all about flying and starting
Yes sir, it sure is!!💪🏽😎

@@patrickspapens5497 How much did you pay for it?
@yoyoyo6101 less than half the original price
@@patrickspapens5497 Which is how much if I may ask?
@yoyoyo6101 just over 500 Swiss Franks. 80km flown, all batteries under 10 charging cycles
Whats ur battery count now and does it effect flight time??
According to dji up to 100 cycles is guaranteed to not affect flight time, after that it should decrease. After 200 cycles it is recommended to replace them

😂😂 when you lost it, another great feature right there. It returned home
Wow, my Air2s did the same thing . But I don't think it is your phone... it's a glitch..
It was scary nonetheless haha!😅

Maybe it is my phone lol! Definitely need a new one!👍🏼
@@JonathanAlaniz-se1qm definitely, because I still have the Air 2, and air 2S and they're both still flying great without any problems.
