Big thumbs up for your experience and after thoughts with this DJI Air 2S it means a lot for me as total drone newbie - but not as a photographer since 15 years back! 🤗 First, as a photographer, I got hooked on the new DJI Air 3S - especially since this is also equipped with the medium telephoto lens 70mm (3x optical) with which you can create nice parallax effects 😊 But, at the same time, I delved into photogrammetry, mapping and ocular inspections as a possible start-up business as a freelance mapper, ocular inspector with preferably an RTK-equipped drone and drone videographer/drone photographer, etc. But, after much research, since the beginning of October, in these areas, there were several in these industries who suggested instead this DJI Air 2S if you consider value for money and still be able to do these less skilled mapping/photogrammetry jobs and my limited budget at the moment as I can't afford an RTK equipped DJI Maveric 3 Thermal drone now (about $7300 USD). 😮 So I simply ended up yesterday Friday buying a better used DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo (RC-N1 Controller) almost in mint condition from a guy who used this for about 3 hours TOTAL since he bought this in 2022 as a pure hobby as well as being a toddler parent with all that comes with being a full-time toddler parent (with drones as a dormant hobby) - which I was able to purchase for only $455 USD. Also, I bought a better used DJI Smart Controller from another guy for $237 USD as well as 3 extra batteries for $164 USD (I now have a total of 6 Intelligent Flight Batteries)… So now I have a better used and complete set of DJI Air 2S Fly More Combo (with a total of 6 batteries) as well as DJI Smart Controller for a total of $856 USD - which suits my limited budget at the moment. As well as now I am also an A1/A3 certified Drone pilot. 😊 Keep up the good work you put into your eminent YT channel! 🙏 Best Regards Jerry Kallstrom, Sweden
@@JerryOfSweden Thank you so much for the support! There are definitely some great deals to be had on these slightly older drones and they are still fully capable of delivering fantastic images and a great flight experience! I'm glad you found something that works well for you!
the thing is it's one of the most succesfull dji drones. I am still preffering Mavic 2 pro because in my testing it has producing overall a better results. Thing is... that Air3... Air3s have DUAL camera setup.. so it gives you TWO drones in one. that's it. image quality is so high these days. that it's often not a point. Another lens is a big deal for some. but the price is really like a DOUBLE.. so.. i stick to older stuff for now ;D
@@rocheuro I'm with you. For me it's all about sensor size! Any extra sensor size translates to better low light performance and more detailed photo and video quality which is huge with these smaller cameras!
Looking to start a drone business and your video pops up. Thanks for sharing your experience and the footages!
@@WaskitoPringgohandoko That's awesome man! Glad I could help a bit. Good luck in getting that business going!
