Artists who are exceptional live should be held in higher regard than those who can’t measure up to what can be produced in a studio.
I feel like I’d have more respect for those that don’t because their vocal tone probably doesn’t sound as good by itself and they had to work harder to make music that sounds good and really found their niche.
