Took awhile before I could even listen to music. I can't imagine how soul-shattering it is for you, but just know there's nothing you did wrong or could've done better. Opiate addiction is a struggle unlike anything else in the world. It takes it's grip on us and there's nothing ANYONE can do to help us til we're ready. I know it might sound dumb now but you can look up meeting locations near you for families of addicts/ NA meetings and you'll be shown more love and support there than you could ever imagine. Sometimes it helps to connect with people who actually understand what we're going through and have been there themselves. Its one of those things you can't really grasp unless you've experienced it yourself. Stay strong girl.

This is a very significant EP for me - I listened to it at the end of a tough pregnancy, then gave birth to my second son in my bed listening to this on repeat, and now my elder son is saying, "Brother song?" while pointing at the now 7-month old baby who was born into this beauty. I was there with mom, dad and brother to take care of her, since she has a rare type of cancer. These songs were and are every season a medicine for me. My partner and I saw him live on Coachella 2023. We knew his music but never expericned his live music. Seeing him live blew our minds. We got transport to another dimension and only came back to the planet when the show was done. One of the best music experiences of my life. i bought a yurt in the netherlands (im from germany originally) and lived there for some years. It was a simple life but it's so hard to be self-sufficient in the modern world. now im back in germany and daaaaaaaaamn this is so much easier. what i learned in this time is that you just have to be happy with what you're doing. the centre of civilization can be a blessing when you're not too rooted to everything that comes with big cities and capitalism.
My brother passed away 10 years ago this year. I wasn't the kindest or most understanding person to him, I was hurting and in turn I rejected his love. Its one of the biggest regrets I hold on to until this day. The fourth song in this helps me forgive my past self, I hope I can spread love like you do FKJ it would make my brother proud. Much love

My partner and I saw him live on Coachella 2023. We knew his music but never expericned his live music. Seeing him live blew our minds. We got transport to another dimension and only came back to the planet when the show was done. One of the best music experiences of my life. i bought a yurt in the netherlands (im from germany originally) and lived there for some years. It was a simple life but it's so hard to be self-sufficient in the modern world. now im back in germany and daaaaaaaaamn this is so much easier. what i learned in this time is that you just have to be happy with what you're doing. the centre of civilization can be a blessing when you're not too rooted to everything that comes with big cities and capitalism.
