Wow, that was a very powerful and moving film. I too, at first thought it was an older man picking up a trick. But it became clear that this was his son and that their relationship was in turmoil. Being a gay man myself who adopted a son, I felt bad for the father. Unfortunately, many parents (gay or straight) are left with disappointment from our children. Sadly, this one hits home. Not sure how I feel about the son. I'm mad at him. But, I don't want to be. I guess I need to work on myself. Great film. Thank you so much!
My friend, I hope you and your son have a terrific relationship. Thanks for watching. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
I got the idea that he WAS his biological dad, who had come out late. And married another man. So the kid did have a mom and dad at one time.
just do it- open up that damn Nike box!
@@darryls2141 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This made me tear up. The acting was excellent, especially the guy who played the father. When his son told him he loved him 'and the way the father looked', the actor conveyed that he has never heard his own child tell him that before. To think that this is somebody's real life 😭
Charles Anteby is the actor. And he is truly a COLOSSAL talent!!!! Thanks for watching. ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
This is a great film. It shows the contradictions that society has. A young man who loves his father but can't face the pressures from his friends for having two fathers. The young man is not yet mature enough to stand up to his friends.
Bingo!!!!!! Thanks for watching and getting it!!! ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
Wow.... I'm speechless and a little heartbroken. Great short!
Noooo, don't be heartbroken. The young guy is on his way towards loving his dad for the man he is. For some, it simply takes time. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
He didn’t take the shirts and the sneakers. With him. Very sad. We need part 2
@@gns3185 The lil brat!!! 😉
This was actually a great short movie! BUT Echo's the Loneliness of the gay/LGBT life without a partner or a companion, when someone really loves another person!
The Gay /LGBT Life is a lonely life, without someone who understands you!
Good luck to everyone, seeking a companion! Find one who understands YOU!
Speak the Truth
Thank you so much, my friend, but I believe ALL human life is lonely without someone who understands and accepts us as we are. In this film, the adopted son is working on understanding and accepting his gay dad. He'll get there. I just know it. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@montgomerycamjr That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if this was his dad or a guy he wanted to be with.
@@montgomerycamjr I watched it again and now I see.
WOW! Brought up by 2 men who treated him like their child with love and his psychological problems stop him from treating them properly
But the dad DOES have a partner but the son can't warm up to "two dads."
I give the dad props for allowing his son to grow up to make his own decisions about his sexuality and comfort level with homosexuality. Most same sex couple parents dont do that in order to avoid the rejection and pain that is being shown in this video. They put their wants and needs above that of their children. This reality is a very hard pill to swallow for any parent. Children are parents to raise and influence for only so many years, then you have to be willing and able to let them go. It is a truth in life that children as well as people in general dont come to appreciate the things that others do for them and the sacrifices that they make until later on in life. Sometimes, it takes your death to move the needle. So one has to give and love because they get meaning and joy out of loving and giving. Expect not even a thank you in return, but trust and believe that the love and things that you give during your life time makes a difference.
Amen. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Until later on in life - what a funny dream.
Formidable ! Une situation inversée où le fils ne conçoit pas le couple homosexuel que son père forme avec un autre homme. C'est rarement mis en lumière. Bravo 😊
A great job, a really interesting storyline I've never seen before in movies et a well-made production. Congrats.
Thank you!!!!!!!
Beautiful, moving film. Congratulations to all involved
Thank you very much!!!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow!
Basically I’m saying the same as every other comment,
Speechless
Thank you, kind sir!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Interesting.
At first I thought the young guy was a gay-for-pay escort.
Good writing!
Of course you did. That's what the filmmaker wanted everyone to think.
Nice unexpected twist that totally upended how I interpreted the characters. Initially thought older guy was trying to buy the attention and affection of the younger guy. Well done film.
Lesson learned: don't judge a book by its cover. 😉
I’m confused which character is the creep mentioned in the title. This reminds me of some of the experiences my older friends who came out late in life went through with their adult children here in Indiana. Instead of recognizing that their fathers were living an unhappy life and being genuinely supportive of their decision to live their truth, my friends were often shunned and alienated by the children they raised. It’s a cruel reality and one that rarely gets addressed in films. This was powerful but disquieting to watch. It will stay with me for a while.
The word "creep" refers to the initial belief that the older man is creeping around in the late night. But after watching the entire film, I hope the viewer realizes what initially appears to be an older man on a "late night creep" is anything but. Oh, I'm from Indiana too!!! Thanks for watching. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Wow! That was kinda genius. Even though the acting was compelling, this so felt like a typical, sterio typical, played to death scenario. Then BAM, plot twist! The last 5 minutes instantly rewritten in my memory. Well done.⚘️
Thank you, my friend. It's amazing what you learn when you see a situation in its entirety. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow! Powerfully IRONIC . Great acting, great writing.
Thank you, kind sir!!!!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This story perfectly illustrates why I can't come out and live the life I believe I should. 🥺
Sure, you can!!!!!
@@montgomerycamjr Don't want to lose my only son besides the risk of getting killed by the law or the mob in an Islamic country.
@@ParvaizRaja 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Very sad situation for them both. I feel like the son is accepting of his father's life circumstances and will always love his dad but is pressured by what society deems as socially acceptable. It's difficult, especially at a young age to not care about what others think of you or your situation. In the end, I hope this young man learns that a father's love is more important than someone else's opinion of you.
Precisely!!! Thanks for watching. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Have you ever heard of gay friends of a son, who do not accept his heterosexual parents?
@@elmarwiesmann7547 I've never heard of such, but surely it happens.
I love this shot movie , hope. To see more like it ,thanks for sharing !
Thank you so much. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
WOW... WHAT A SUPRISE... BRAVO!!! And good to... acting and direction.
Thank you sooooo much!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great acting and a unexpected plot twist
Thanks for watching. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Gays are not the only ones who have issues to work around ….. and self-acceptance to consider .
The rest of us need TIME and SPACE ….. And if in the end things don’t work ….. there are other issues to consider .. one is “we agree to disagree” because life is ever-flowing …… and people need to have choices …
✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
Omg,this was good.😢❤
Thank you so much!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I really enjoyed this short film. At times, we may all need to be reminded that things aren't always what they seem.
Thank you sooo much for watching. And you're 100% correct!!! ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
"My esse buddies? What, I'm Mexican now" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Someone explain esse pls.
@@kmauryo In Mexican slang, "ese" has several possible meanings, but the most common interpretations are: 1. Dude, man, bro: This is the most widespread and neutral meaning of "ese." It's a casual way to address a male friend or acquaintance, similar to "dude" or "bro" in English.
I couldn't work out which one is the creep!
Neither is the "creep." In this instance, creep is a verb.
@@montgomerycamjr Ah, I see! I enjoyed this little film ❤
Wow! I have no words! Great clip!
Thank you sooooo much!!!! 💯✊🏾💯👊🏾💯✊🏾
⭐⭐⭐⭐ So Sad, as people waste their life holding to the past, letting it tare down their life. Undoubtedly, this short film hits home for me, more than I can express.
I'd like to think the young man is gonna come around in due time.
If you Love someone and they dont love you back just keep loving them But start looking for someone else ,, Take that Love departure chance ,,,on someone else and make sure the next person loves you and your Love will not die it will just grow without someone else ,,,and you will look back and thank God that you give your self the chance to Love someone else Love want die it just flies away to another place and Lives forever with others that loves ,, Love will join its self to Love ,,,and it cant be stopped only takes new pathways like a water running clean and fresh ,,,the river of Love never runs dry it flows to where it needs to be .
This was a sad slim to watch after realizing the ending
I thank you so much for watching. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@montgomerycamjr thanks for sharing
I think this is a very important film about men coming out late in life because of societal pressures. And in that wake, there are children born that might not have been born otherwise. Now that child, just like the mom, has to face a new reality with new challenges in their personal lives and how to deal with it. It’s not the child’s fault, but it’s not truly the father’s fault at the same time. Truth and being able to tell the truth without consequences is a great societal fault that likely can never be fixed, all thanks to a conservative movement upon the world. They will only accept that perfect picture “package”, otherwise…. Well, you get it.
Interesting plot, yes it took me by surprise. Society can be very complex.
The son, has his own issues to sort out.
The father, a parents' affection for their children differ. This one, he just wanted to spend more family time.
Thanks for watching. ✊🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Definitely not the story I thought I was about watch. It became infinitely sadder when I realized what really was happening.
I'd like to believe that eventually all will be well with the gentlemen. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Did not see that coming! Plot twist!
See, now you know you should never judge a book by its cover. Thanks for watching. :)

Great job, Cam!
Thank you!!!!
The son will come around its hard for him right now..But he loves his father
Wait...Javier has been around it most of his life, but pops marrying Mark is the reason for disassociating from him? If, like he said, he really loves his father, how can he visibly hurt him like that? And how can he still have that attitude after all these years knowing pops lifestyle? Seems Javier is more concerned about what others think than love for dad.
What others think is incredibly important to many young men. Oftentimes even more important than what the young man thinks. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@montgomerycamjr BTW, I forgot to mention this a actually a brilliant piece of work. Javier meeting Brad closer to home base does give a glimmer of hope.
@@montgomerycamjrI can see that being the case years ago, but kids not accepting their gay parents look like asses to most people now.
What's in the box??
The older man told him what's in the box: sneakers.
This reminds me of my life 😮
I hope you work that out. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This was hard to watch. People talk about privilege a lot but the real privilege is to be young. It's also the only privilege that goes away so you know how much you lost.
The kid will eventually find his way...I hope. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
There's no way that these 2 are father and son unless the father adopted him when he was 16+.
Well, one of the actors in this film was in his early 20s during filming. And one was in his mid-50s. You try to guess which was which.
Hard film to watch. But very poignant! Feel sad for the father.
Thank you for watching. Please feel free to share it. 👏🏿✊🏾🙏🏽👊🏾
Loved it❤
Thank you soooo much. 🤎🤎🤎
He could be my zaddy..... 😜
If you mean the young man, he's too young too be a Zaddy. 😉
I did not think this was his father. I thought he was a trick.
See, nothing is as it initially appears. ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
I did they look alike lol I was like wait what!! Why do they look alike!!
Ungrateful son. I feel sorry for the father.
Most young people need time to mature. The young fella sounds like he's coming around. Thanks for watching. ✊🏾🙏🏽👊🏾
LOVE it!!!!!
That was hard to watch. He could have opened the fucking box….regardless
It takes some young people a little longer to mature. But he's on the correct path. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
agreed, being a jerk just for the sake of being a jerk, sad, he's not 15 either, but a full grown man
Cool.
Thank you, Lemard!
This was hard to watch
I wanted to depict the young man's struggle of acceptance. Thanks for watching. ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
@@montgomerycamjr KEEP GOING PLEASE BECAUSE THIS LOOKS LIKE A GREAT OPENING TO A DECENT WEB SERIES.
Ummmm who was the handsome latino? 🤩🤩🤩
The fine actor's name appears in the credits and in the description of this terrific video. 😉😉😉
Latino? He look biracial (black and white), it's even implied that he's half black in the video. Read between the lines.
@@igotyourback9175 The actor, JUAN GIL, is of Dominican descent.
@@montgomerycamjr Thanks for the clarification. Hope to see more work from him.
Well that teaches you not to pick up hitchhikers
😅🤣😂 He wasn't a hitchhiker.
Did you actually watch it?
Really?
Familial masculine toxicity is a real thing unfortunately 😔
I predict the young man will come around. At least he's working on it. Maturity is a beautiful thing. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What was in the dang box?!?
The uber-popular Jordan sneakers!!!
I feel sorry for the older guy I put myself in his shoes and it just felt terrible the young guy should just leave the older guy alone if he doesn't want him but it seems he's only after his money pity.
Whoa!!!!! Watch it in its entirety. You missed their actual relationship.
What was in the box, besides the sneakers?
Only the sneakers.
@@montgomerycamjr ty!
I thought the younger guy was a trick at first. And the older guy was gona stab him
See, it's always best to get the ENTIRE story before making an assumption. :) Thanks for watching. ✊🏿
I found it to be stupid.
You found their situation stupid?
I hope the title late night referring to the young jigglow. Because he was the one in the wrong for stringing. Along this poor guy who was given money and gifts for his attention. And affection, if he wasn't really into it, then he should have just stepped away instead of taking the money and run.
Not a gigolo. You've gotta watch the entire film to learn the young man's true relationship with the older man.
That’s his father.
