Enjoyed the review. I am curious if you can add one item to your future earbud reviews. Do the earbuds work in one ear at a time, and for each ear? I listen to mostly podcasts and watch TH-cam and Twitch. While doing so I use a single earbud and when it gets low, I switch to the other earbud that has been charging in the case. When I am not listening to music or need NC, this provides none stop listening. It is hard to find reviews of earbuds where this is mentioned and I end up going to Reddit. I mainly use AirPod Pros 2 which support this listening behavior, and I have read the Sony and Bose do not but never tried them.
Interesting! I've overlooked the JBL consumer electronics products and had previously written them off as cheap and cheerful with a dead brand name slapped on the side. Your review has softened my preconceived notion somewhat, and I think I may reconsider. A quick check on the price here in New Zealand though, they are as expensive as both the AirPods Pro and the Technics AZ80, these JBL are a hard sell against those two competitors.

I dont mean shift over into transparency, but actually ANC off completely. When ive had the Bose QC 2 earbuds i found that you couldn't turn off the ANC instead you go into transparency mode and there would white noise watching movies in a quiet place. Is there white noise with these when the ANC is off? Thanks so much 😊
What happened to the Tour Pro 1s? 🤣 touch controls don’t sound great though. Lots of potential erroneous touches. Plus no way to find the case if you lose it, like with the AirPods Pro 2

How would you personally compare the sound of the JBL to AirPods Pro?

people dont just use earbuds for phone, they use it on laptops and even smart tvs. the case screen will come in handy, during those use.
Your videos are great, but I love that voice. The best I ever heard on YT!
The headphones do not want to pair with each other. Apparently you have to remove some plastic from the headphones, but why? how to do it? please help
