I bought these because they were on special.. $100 off.. for the longest I've been using cheap no name buds and did me fine.. I thought there wouldn't be much difference between my cheapies and these JBLs and boy was I wrong.. these are so good and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on buying them.. keep in mind I use them for the gym and are so good.

Great video man! When it comes to earbuds... I always check your videos and I'm glad you made a video about the Tour Pro 2. These get too less attention by everyone. These have great features, but no one seems to care, since there's only attention for the AirPods and the QC II's. However... I own the QC II's and these are, what I think, a huge step further than the Tour Pro 2. Especially when it comes to noisecancelling. Also, why they still don't have full control on the earbuds is a mystery for me. It just doesn't make sense. Certainly at this price point. 😑
Still... I like the Tour Pro 2 and maybe, when the price drops a bit, I will also buy these buds, just so I can switch sometimes. I like the sound of JBL. Hopefully they don't have these weird glitches in the sound anymore, as I had with the Live Pro+. These were good in many ways, but they had some weird sounds going on, randomly, when a kick dropped or something like that.
About the prizes you give away... are these also available when you live in Europe or only in the US?

Done, thank you! :) These are great for using it on PC, but usually while travelling its easier to just do it on your phone since its usually more accessible anyways. But it's gonna be interesting what the other companies come up with in respose.

Nice vid C. these made me sit up and pay attention. now, i am a sony man, but there are features on these buds i.e the case which i could really sink my teeth into. i use buds on my PC all the time, however, there are times i need to tweak the buds on the fly and having to link to the phone and change stuff can be a little tedious. so yeah, for me, these kind of innovations are cool. J

The best user experience is to be able to control all functions with earphones. Taking your phone out of your pocket to control your earphones or taking out your earphone case is just an added confusing and wasteful way. New attempts are essential for the product to develop, and I also support it. But what JBL needs now is software developments such as the solving poor connectivity problems of apps and the addition of widgets. Even at the current price, it is also not understood that music control, noise cancelling, and volume cannot be operated on earphones at once. For JBL to have a minimum value for its current price, it must include the 'Volume Adjustment' option in the 'Earphone Long Touch' feature.

Gotta ask my guy, what is your personal favorite JBL earbuds? I think these look and seem interesting but I think the case and the screen needs a little tweaking before I’d jump on board. I’d like to be able to see the song or whatever I’m listening to name. Also I’d like a little more information on the text and be able to go back and touch to preview.

I can see how the case could be useful if you don't want to pull out your phone, but one thing I'd be worried about is scratches on the case display.
How would you compare these to the JBL Live Pro 2? Primarily fit, volume, bass response, ANC/transparency modes?
Honestly, they're very similar in overall performance. Main difference is really just the case.

Great video, Thanks! Ordered these from Amazon Japan when they first came out. No doubt Apple is keeping an eye on them as they are rumoured to be considering a touchscreen on their next erosion of AirPods Pro. If Apple does this, the screen will probably control more than just the buds.

Are you able to turn off the ANC completely on the JBL tour pro 2's? I dont mean shift over into transparency, but actually ANC off completely.
When ive had the Bose QC 2 earbuds i found that you couldn't turn off the ANC instead you go into transparency mode and there would white noise watching movies in a quiet place.
Is there white noise with these when the ANC is off?

It’s definitely not a gimmick but i wish they do display the name and details of the track playing on the earbuds display rather than just indicating that a song is playing and giving u an option to either pause/play, skip or go to the previous track, and a better noise cancellation would have made it a great earbuds for the gym thou I’m sure the loud volume and bass extensions will compensate for that…
Look great with the screen but I’d rather them have scrapped the screen altogether and spent extra on the drivers and enclosure for a “league above” sound upgrade.
5:46 I'm experiencing the exact same thing after just a few days of owning it. It randomly disconnects & reconnects while I'm riding my bicycle (which is the main purpose I bought it for)

I'm new ish to earbuds. My past two pairs were JBL LIVE 300TWS, and they both died within a year. I'm thinking of getting these when they release. Would you say these are worth the 250, and do you think they'll last more than a year? Also do we know when these earbuds are going to be released in the US?

I can appreciate what JBL is trying to do with the charging case, but I feel it's only relevant to somebody without a smart watch. There's very little that this case does that a smart watch can't do

I sure many companies will adopt the smart display on their earbud case. I think it's something people will use instead of going to their phone to change the earbud settings.
