Your new fixed blade n sheath is amazing for that price point... and with 14c28n blade steel the corrosion upgrade over D2 make up for the slight lack of toughness in my opinion.
Fixed blades... Much of any chance of getting some fixed blades for "budget" prices in K390, 10V, 15V, Vanadis 8, Rex 45...? Something like a small hunting/skinning knife in the 64-66 hrc range. Like the Watchman W205, but with MUCH better steel that has a good heat treat. Decent belly, but not too much, full flat grind, fairly thin behind the edge thickness, about a 3.25" blade length.
Dang sorry this happened to you 😢. I haven't bought this preticular knife yet. I won't know for sure. I always been hesitant about these exact knives and there Chinese quality. Hope they make it right and refund your cash. Good luck squid.
