Ah, I love you guys! So wholesome. I have to confess that after binge-watching your channel for some time my house really got fixed up! I cleaned out the garage, turned it into a studio/workshop, renovated the living and music room, started my own TH-cam channel... When I ran out of things to do I had to back off of your channel a bit. Too much inspiration! But now that it's spring and, you know, the end of the world, it's time to plant a garden! So I'm back. :-)

The baby cam at the end is wonderful. Great fix for us grandparent types. Shae, you need to paint black stripes on the rear of the car so it looks like a bumble bee! Then add two antenna on the front fenders. Everyone in town will know who is buzzing around. Take care everyone and stay well.

my dad was a professiona auto body repairman, so I know a bit about bondo, primer, tack clothes, fiberglass and clear coat!! Awesome job on painting Shae's car!! Was also interesting to know that Bre was named after the cheese cause the spelling threw me off !!!

When you clear coat to protect the yellow paint that car will look amazing. Great job family.

When Car & Driver tested the Escort ZX2 with the sport package, it was faster in the slalom than a Ferrari F-355! Do the timing belt and take care of it and it should last a while.
Very cool video, I always enjoy seeing the hydroponics coming together. A little tip on the painting from someone who does it quite often.....You'll want to wet sand instead of dry sand. Wet sanding will provide a much cleaner and smooth surface for your color coat and the end result will be paint so silky smooth and soft, it will remind you of baby skin. You'll also want to do that for the clear coats as well. Great video as always, I've basically been glued to YT for the last two weeks, and it's nice to receive updated content so I don't go completely mad with cabin fever during these crazy times. Stay safe and have fun!

I love that your whole family is so creative and inventive; you guys are MY kind of people! One thing I have never understood about most of the people in our country is their lack of desire to DIY. So many just go to work, come home, plop in front of the idiot box, chow down on franken-foods, collapse into bed, and repeat every day. They never even try to experience more of Life, hence they have very little joy. Then they claim they are bored...I think it's because they are boring. Some of us were lucky enough to have parents who were always doing projects, like you guys, so we developed that DIY spirit...and took responsibility for our own enjoyment in life.

Good color choice on the car. Bright colors make the car to see (avoiding accidents). As well as a light color that will help keep the car cooler than a dark paint under the arizona sun shine.

The dust and sand from the lava rock is great for your soil. Lava sand is an organic soil amendment popular in TX at about $10 a bag. It loosens up heavy clay and helps sand hold moisture.

I am always amazed by what this family gets done! BTW best car color ever. In my early 20's I had The Screaming Yellow Nova. 1972 SS All canary yellow.. surely Shae isn't a lead foot like I was. I got a speeding ticket within hours of buying it in Reno. Be safe everyone

Second, I've just discovered you and have really been enjoying catching up with your family's projects and changing dynamics over the years while I have been hunkered down at home. I like how you utilize what you have on hand, likely we will see even more of that in the coming weeks. Last, I tried to find the episode with Bryson's new beehive but couldn't so...just a little plea from Oregon to PLEASE do a full segment on the set up of the new hive (if it isn't too late) and follow up with the progress. I look forward to your videos every week! I want more when the video ends, but then it gives me something forward to see what's happening. I love the yellow happy colour. Thank you.
