Shae the "waste" from making your headbands can be: crocheted as "yarn," or it can be used to stuff dog beds or tied into rugs. There are many projects you can make with them. You spent just as much for those pieces as you did for the rest.

Also, fabric scraps are great for stuffing dolls you just roll them into a ball and then wind batting around them to get the soft outer but it keeps the inner part stiff and solid. Are use those all the time for that. Also they are great for making quilts if you like dash I even have seen people use them for portraits that that you put together colors and end up with a marvelous work! Very artistic. I really like the Master bath shower. Surprisingly--to me-- I like the way you tiled the shower. When I first saw the tile I did not think I would like it, but it looks very nice. My daughter and I built a shower years ago. We initially used a shower kit, but it was missing parts, so we tried another shower kit. After it failed too, we built the shower from the floor up. Doing it that way enabled me to put the shower head high enough for my 6'4" grandson to stand comfortably under it while showering. He is married now, and has his own place. He still says the only shower he has ever been able to stand under and shower was the I built. Ahh...the things we do for love.

Eventually your fabric waste, or cabbage, could be used as pillow stuffing, could be sewn together all cattywampus and made into new fabric, or used for padding in costumes! The shower is fantastic, and I love your hair Bree! Oh and a new baby girl?? Congrats, how exciting for you all! Oh and the sushi....had to buy some krab and cucumber....I use rice vinegar in my rice...and radish sprouts in the rolls!
Shae, you can give those fabric scraps to the birds. Mom and I used to have a yarn shop and we would put the scraps outside in a big bowl at the end of winter. Birds would take the yarn and fabric scraps to build nests with. Some of those nests were pretty colorful. Congratulations to Ellie and Garen!

I was going to suggest you can save the fabric scraps to make strip quilts which are basically just strips of fabric any how seamed together in interesting patterns. They call them crazy quilts up here cause its some of everything thrown together.

Van, bathroom and headbands, all are, as always, so much more than great! (y) I've raised and have lived with "seeing opportunities where others saw obstacles", and I save everything that "might be useful someday", and I've learned; every time I listen to others at through something out I've had for years without using, I need badly for a project shortly after! I live alone (incl cats and dog) in a great, but sadly rented house, and my landlady regularly come to see the house, and she is always very happy, though she might wonder why I always have a huge stack of new boxes and old materials, tools, etc, where most of it are things "temporarily stored for different friends between housing" :D Oops!! I lost both parents and both my sibling within a few years (2004-2010) whom I was very close to, and watching My little Homestead's videos gives me SO much joy and inspiration, and remember the things I did with my family, and how much I miss the bond we had and joy of doing things with them or just spend time with them as adults. To watch these videos and how such amazing parents (and from today watching and listening to Grandpa, it sure tied a knot there) and to watch how much impact this kind of loving parenting has on not "only" the 4 kids, but their choice of friends, partners and what they do. And I'm absolutely confident it will impact how they will raise the next generation and their overall choices in life. (After witnessing the last years of trying to normalize lies, hate, ignorance, destroying and segregation, we need, we need so badly, to watch and witness the impact of all the opposite of all these things to a new "normal" and go forward to make a new and very different "normal". Bad things for sure influence so many people in a horrible way and good things do the same in a good way, but there is ONE huge difference: good things, build on honesty, respect and love are way harder to destroy than bad things build on lies, disrespect and hate. Those little cloth scraps are perfect for a clever dog dexterity/puzzle game. You get any of the many rubber balls with holes all over them (search for hol-ee roller to see a random example) and loosely stuff it with the scraps of cloth. Some dogs really enjoy tearing apart stuffed animals to rip out the guts. Give one of them the stuffed rubber ball and chances all they'll have a blast pulling out all of the scraps, then you can easily gather them up and reload the ball to play again. It will also give them an approved target, and they'll have lest interest in ripping the stuffing out of other things.

I was going to suggest you can save the fabric scraps to make strip quilts which are basically just strips of fabric any how seamed together in interesting patterns. They call them crazy quilts up here cause its some of everything thrown together.

I've raised and have lived with "seeing opportunities where others saw obstacles", and I save everything that "might be useful someday", and I've learned; every time I listen to others at through something out I've had for years without using, I need badly for a project shortly after!
I live alone (incl cats and dog) in a great, but sadly rented house, and my landlady regularly come to see the house, and she is always very happy, though she might wonder why I always have a huge stack of new boxes and old materials, tools, etc, where most of it are things "temporarily stored for different friends between housing" :D Oops!!
I lost both parents and both my sibling within a few years (2004-2010) whom I was very close to, and watching My little Homestead's videos gives me SO much joy and inspiration, and remember the things I did with my family, and how much I miss the bond we had and joy of doing things with them or just spend time with them as adults.
To watch these videos and how such amazing parents (and from today watching and listening to Grandpa, it sure tied a knot there) and to watch how much impact this kind of loving parenting has on not "only" the 4 kids, but their choice of friends, partners and what they do. And I'm absolutely confident it will impact how they will raise the next generation and their overall choices in life.
(After witnessing the last years of trying to normalize lies, hate, ignorance, destroying and segregation, we need, we need so badly, to watch and witness the impact of all the opposite of all these things to a new "normal" and go forward to make a new and very different "normal".
Bad things for sure influence so many people in a horrible way and good things do the same in a good way, but there is ONE huge difference:
good things, build on honesty, respect and love are way harder to destroy than bad things build on lies, disrespect and hate.

Congratulations Garren and Ellie on the news baby! And, Shea, don't throw out the fabric scraps...they can be used in many crafts...I wish I had them. I recently saw twisted and wrapped fabric ropes used to make bowls and I've used scraps to make beads, jewelry, so many uses.

Shea looks great with her hair down. Bree is really coming along with the sewing projects- a suggestion I do is have an area best i can or everything all together so when done sewing you can have it all together without it all over-create a system simple and easy to maintain that you can do

Those little cloth scraps are perfect for a clever dog dexterity/puzzle game. You get any of the many rubber balls with holes all over them (search for hol-ee roller to see a random example) and loosely stuff it with the scraps of cloth. Some dogs really enjoy tearing apart stuffed animals to rip out the guts. Give one of them the stuffed rubber ball and chances all they'll have a blast pulling out all of the scraps, then you can easily gather them up and reload the ball to play again. It will also give them an approved target, and they'll have lest interest in ripping the stuffing out of other things.
